@Waiting on him PS: It's the tattoo that usually comes at around 18; the ear piercings usually precede it, don't they?

@2nd Timothy Group FYI....did you see/vote in the poll, above?
@2nd Timothy Group No harm in voting in the poll, above, which I started... No apologies necessary here...I sure didn't. Mary-something or other told me that I was interjecting into threads. If I have been doing that, and it is wrong . . . I will never do it again. Not only that, but I will duly apologize.
I worded it like I did because the "language of scripture" is interpreted differently by different people for most any verse that anyone regularly quotes. When two or more are in conflict the only fair and final arbiter is God Himself. When people say on here they agree to disagree, that may halt the argument of the moment, but it does not solve it to the satisfaction of every man.I take your point indeed; thanks; at the same time we can't get away from the language of Scripture itself, as mentioned in the contexts elaborated.
2 years old?@Josho FYI....did you see/vote in this poll? (I don't remember if I asked you before...)
2 years old?
Just kidding!
No I still haven't voted
@Josho Yes, sensible observation, I guess. Thanks for your poll vote, also..10, 11 maybe? If we are talking about ear piercings, I think girls usually get them quite young
@Josho PS: If the poll had been specifically about boys'/men's ear piercing, I reckon the average age would be higher, right?
(Leaving aside whether you would ever have considered it, I reckon you would in theory have only considered it when older than when a lot of girls typically have it done.)
@Josho I don't know about Australia but in North America also it's also customary for boys - when they have it done - to do both ears, even though when boys did it years ago it started off mainly being one ear only.Oh yeah, I think definitely higher for boys.
And possibly a sizable portion of American pastors' wives have committed adultery, and likely the pastors themselves, and their children also partaken if premarital sex.@Jay Ross Important comment about allergies and infections; thank-you. One can bear in mind also that in North America a huge proportion of preachers' wives, not to mention members of the their congregations, would not unusually wear earrings.
Your citing of scripture to justify the following and practice of worldly fashion by Christians lies flatter than roadkill and likely twice as messy. It must be over 20 threads now on this forum that you have extolled the virtues of ear rings, tattoos, cosmetics, "Christian" rock, and fashionable dress.I take your point indeed; thanks; at the same time we can't get away from the language of Scripture itself, as mentioned in the contexts elaborated.
@2nd Timothy Group Feel free to vote in the poll, anyway...
@2nd Timothy Group YW, just vote when you finalize your option...Haha . . . I really don't have any opinion on the matter. It wouldn't bother me if a person pierced a day old baby or if they never had a piercing to begin with. But, I'll check out the poll. Maybe I missed the option I just gave. Thanks for the reminder! :)
@2nd Timothy Group YW, just vote when you finalize your option...
@2nd Timothy Group So maybe if you tell us what it is, it could even be included into the poll as an extra poll response?Unfortunatley, what I believe isn't an option.![]()
