Likewise .

And the ad hominem attack tells me you cannot refute my position and must resort to personal attacks. Thanks for the ad hominem as it reveals much more about yourself than it does about me.

hope this helps !!!

I wasn't attacking an ad hominem...
I was disagreeing with what you said!
Try to stay focused. It says a lot about you when you deflect.

calling another person " dude" instead of their name is an insult and a derogatory remark.

1) Originally, “dude” meant a stuck up person who dressed overly well. It first emerged in the year 1883 in England.

2) Later it was used in the old west to mean a city person who moved to the west without actually know what he was doing. Synonymous with “city-slicker

OK. I've never taken it that way, but I'm from Southern California.

:)

Maybe I shouldn't be admitting that around here!

I was more talking about your ad hominem is claiming Taken was removing verses from their context for the purpose of deriving an unBiblical view.

Much love!

I'm from NorCal and I admit I call my best friend from elementary school dude once in a while. We have known each other for 55 years and live a few miles from each other and see each other at-least once a week. He is also a brother in the Lord.

OMG! A Cali-A-Fornicator. Get the tar and feathers boys! Do we string'em up first or tar and feather him first?!!!
I say we do it at the same time while we throw rotten tomatoes at'em!!! How do we know when He is dead?
It does not matter he is going to lie about it anyway!!!

You cracked me up! You still are!

Love it!

You know what people say about transplants to California who have become strange?

They have become Californiaized.
I'm not sure that is a compliment.
But hey, California does have a reputation, a stigma, for being the Land of Fantasy. You know, Actors, living their lives pretending they are someone else.

God Bless,

I was born in San Francisco in 1960 and lived in the Bay Area until I was 40. I moved to the Central Valley and lived here for the past 20 years. I sure miss the Bay Area weather buts its to expensive to live there IMHO.

"Apparitions of the Virgin Mary" No such thing.

Whatever people think they are seeing it is definitely not Mary the mother of Jesus. It could possible be a deliberate trick or maybe a trick of the light or something else entirely. But Mary? No way.

(1) THE APPARITIONS AT MEDJUGORJE IN BOSNIA

As I've said, I am a Pentecostal Methodist, not a Catholic. But I feel led of God to defend or at least present biblical perspectives on Catholic distinctives in the hope that they can receive a fair hearing. What interests me far more are the major apparitions of the Virgin Mary.

Stop being interested in visions of Mary and get your heart right with God.
God is not interested in vision of mar , or the cult of mary, or mary with a crown, or mary with her beads.
Wake up.

Ya think?! You do know this belief makes up the vast majority of Christian history....and those that do not believe are in the minority and the newbies on the block. If you are a church of one then your religion only existed as long as you have been a Christian. If you are Protestant, then something less than 500 years. If your basing your religion all the way back to to the first 65 years of Christian history....all good...but stay in the fence. You do not need to know what happened after the first 65 years.

But what does it mean to you that we were reconciled by His death while we were His enemies?

I'll go first.

Much love!

I honestly don't know how to answer it any better than I did. :(
