18 “Come now, and let us reason together,”

This is very simply dealt with by understanding that the scripture does not contradict itself. And therefore the immediate context of any given scripture verse will never nullify the plain meaning of that verse.

The answer to your final question is: the same way that any Gentile might reason with God so that their sins will be as white as snow.
