I believe in miracles , and that passage is referring to the Pharisees being blind and deaf. I am not a Pharisee - I recognise who Jesus is , why he came and that he is/ was the messiah.
The Pharisee didn’t recognise who Jesus was even though he was performing miracles, the simply didn’t recognise what they had.

I was merely stating that the verse was Jesus addressing the Pharisee. Just because I do not see what you see within and about the shroud is not evidence that I am blind to the truth of the risen Lord Jesus. You don’t seem to be able to grasp what many are saying about the Holy Spirit and Jesus , so I could, if I chose to, say that you are blind to what I see ect.

Yeah this 'remnant' represents him dying for you. I'll just come out and say it: you don't want to look at the Catholic Jesus on the Shroud b/c it proves CC is right.. Maybe one day God removes your blindness to what is real in this world. The Shroud is real and it exists.

... and it's not. Otherwise, "negatives" and "holograms" would have existed in whatever era the shroud would have been "created" as the "artist(s)" would not have conceived such technology. -- Not to mention the scientific analysis.

A simple pin hole camera was a possibility even back when it was forged as it is so simple to make and use and would provide a negative image. And this trick hasn't dissuaded me from the truth. I do not need a piece of old cloth to tell me Jesus rose from the dead. And I wouldn't want to belong to any church who relied on such things to build its faith.

Some people don't "need" Bible Prophecy either. In fact one young man tore two pages from my irreplaceable RSV Bible because he apparently thought Bible Prophecy wasn't "needed".

But the fact is, we not only "need" the Bible, we're also told to find other ancient books, -- and who's to say we're not told to find other Geography, Historical Records, and Historical artifacts?

And remember, each member of the "body" is called to perform their unique functions, -- including assessing the veracity of Historical Artifacts.

I have faith in the wonderful works of God but I don't believe the Turin shroud is one of them. I believe it's a fake, a forgery and has caused many people to take their eyes off Jesus.
