Shroud of Turin: Absolute proof the man seen in it is Jesus Christ

Its is real you guys are in trouble. So its better to say.. 'I'm still looking at it.'

Mostly everyone here looked at it for 2 min and said its fake or a fraud. I looked at it for 20 years before I got here.

I would rather put my trust and faith in the real, actual risen Lord Jesus than something that is a remnant of his death and resurrection. I have no idea if it is fake or real, but why would someone with real faith need it for proof, or need it as something to worship- which is what you are doing. You are placing a piece of cloth above the real Jesus.

That’s the whole point Brian, he doesn’t leave us blind- we have faith through the workings of the Holy Spirit - I don’t need the shroud to give me any proof of the risen Lord.

I just think it's so sad when the risen Lord Jesus isn't enough for people. They focus their search for him by looking for proof rather than focusing on him and putting Him at the centre of their lives.

He was so good he even thought to make this and I'm pretty sure that rules out pin hole.

Where there is a will, there is a way - the best demon stration of it is the shroud itself.
Obviously or not, it may involve some more details, but what's done is done.

Agree. It's either fake or it isn't.

... and it's not. Otherwise, "negatives" and "holograms" would have existed in whatever era the shroud would have been "created" as the "artist(s)" would not have conceived such technology. -- Not to mention the scientific analysis.

So don't be deceived by "parlor tricks" or other attempts to dissuade you from the TRUTH. :)

And neither do we "need" (I love it when children "need" a toy/candy/etc.) geographical citations, historical records, and visiting angels. But we certainly have these things, plus the Dead Sea Scrolls validate the Masoretic Text for tangible confidence.

I was addressing the shroud. It’s something I have never looked into, questioned, studied ect. So, for me personally , it’s not something I have needed.

I have a solid faith in Jesus Brian100, so I don’t think I do, but we are all different.
I have heard of the shroud but never really looked into it.
Please don’t take that as a personal rejection of something that is important to you
