WHY IS THE CHURCH GOING OUT BACKWARD?

Here is why I dabble with BOL.

He is a lost soul.

He get's pounded scripturally by 100% of my posts.

He will eventually succumb to his wounds, then repent, get baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of his sins, then for the 1st time in his life, receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost.

This is called "unchurching" and "rechurching" a person.

Some are easy, but some are tough cookies to crack.

I specialize in the tough ones.:)

I have put TWO posters on IGNORE... because truly... I don't have the patience or desire to argue with people who are ARROGANT and RUDE.
I made my presence known on this thread for that very reason... certain people were speaking in a very unbecoming way... YOURSELF included... however... I confronted the RUDEST one.... all to find out that this is nothing more than a JOKE... of which you have defended. This is what we call a DRAMA FEST. Sadly... the real issue of TRUE CHRISTIANITY simply goes out the window when people type without reflecting on WHO they are typing ABOUT.

If you think you will ever change the mind of arrogance... you are sadly mistaken... PRIDE never allows itself to be corrected...

You have taught me that it is not worth sticking my neck out for others in venues like this... People are accountable for what they believe and how they speak... IT is GOD who changes hearts.. not man.
Topics like this that go sideways.... because of one or two taking over is something I still don't understand.... I GUESS in a way ... the Forums are nothing more than a game.

The attitude in this thread does NOT at all reflect a healthy discussion... but rather a very bad example of what humans with no manners LOOK like. It reminds me of two rabid dogs foaming at the mouth... To a new believer looking in ( which is what I care about... ) this thread would be appalling. People who call themselves Christians... but attack one another in such disrespectful and condescending ways are truly simply DISOBEDIENT and PRIDEFUL people.

It is actually so very sad that BOL has stated that he is here to DEFEND the lies against the Catholic Church... but in all actuality what he is doing is showing the world how HATEFUL and ARROGANT many followers of this sect are.

God does NOT need volunteers to FALSELY defend his church... HE needs His children to follow HIM.... and to be a LIGHT to the dark world... He needs His children to love each other...

BOL comes waltzing in here like a BULL on STEROIDS.... and his only agenda is to annihilate all that stand in his way... He uses his anger and lack of self-control to hide behind this CATHOLIC AGENDA.

How he treats people on these forums is a reflection of a man who has NOT yielded his life to CHRIST... but rather a man who is carnal and driven by his fleshly desires. @BreadOfLife

Thats why even SDA sound like SDA, Jws like jws etc etc. They became what they joined them selves too, and our friend are the ugly face of what religion is. Mother and daughter of the Harlot

RELIGION is indeed a horrific and UGLY face...and that is why I have publicly stated that I do not feel it wise to allow Catholics to come into NON denominational forums. If DOCTRINE is so "SACRED"... then why abuse it by carelessly flaunting it?

Anyways... I can now move on with CLEAR conscience. I have shared my heart here... and I know that God has honoured my intention to bring respect and unity to a conversation that has been disturbing to say the least.

First of all there's no such thing as the Roman Catholic Church.
There is the CC of the Roman Rite.

Second, if you study some church history, you'll find that only one church goes all the way back to the Apostolic times, and this will be the CC.

Now...we could debate if the Orthodox Church MIGHT be the original church because they broke off in the year 1,000...but that's a totally different discussion.

Posting incorrect information will not gain you any respect.

BTW, I am Protestant, but history is history.
I also have had problems with BOL and believe he is a terrible example for Catholics.

I'll have to disagree.
Jesus set up a church.
Apostolic teachings were passed on and maintained.
One church had to be the keeper of these teachings.
Which church would you say it was?

Jesus went back to heaven and left the church (small c --- a bldg) in the hands of His Apostles and their successors.

I absolutely agree that there are bad apples everywhere... and that the CHURCH is NOT responsible for the misrepresentation.

I absolutely HEAR and can RELATE to what you are saying... I used to cringe when people would tell me that CATHOLIC means UNIVERSAL.... The church is what is known as the BODY.... It is also called THE BRIDE... those two are interchangeable... I prefer to call myself HIS BRIDE.. and with that goes the knowledge that I am SEEKING HIM.. and not MAN.
