Think about what God's Word says about this.

Who does God say knows the truth, appraiseth all things, and is appraised by no one ?

re "It never works" is not truth. It has worked in the past (not on a forum, not on the internet, no) in assemblies that believe and follow Jesus.

Just like in Acts, Ephesians, Philippians, etc, as described clearly, there are instructions for what to do whenever someone violates the truth, is out of order even a little bit, or is unaware of the truth in Jesus.
The instructions in Scripture are Revealed by God for His Purpose, and when Jesus is obeyed, followed, and believed, there is such peace and joy and righteousness overflowing continually that few people ever experience - never seen on the forums like this one.

And surprisingly few places in person.

Ah, if only! The Church has been in disagreement for so long now, only God can bring it into unity. There is much pride and many stiff-necked Christians who are stuck in cement and will not receive correction easily. But...God :)
We are a bunch of kids fighting over this or that doctrine when the simple message of The Gospel is right in front of our noses. The Church has been moving further and further away from the day's of Acts.

The important thing right now is not trying to unite the various groups which call themselves Christians. The important thing is the propagation of the Gospel, and the edification of the true saints.

Funny though, how many religions are based on scripture, how many people stand in complete opposition to God and His truth, using scripture, the only truth we have is Christ, He is the truth and in Him there is no lie, if we are willing to go to Him we will find it. everything else is mens wisdom which is nothing.

All you have to do is pray for the honest truth of Gods, and the Holy Spirit will guide you through Gods word and reveal it to you.

Yes, the wheat and the tares...I would say there are both in every "Church". Doesn't the Word say there must be factions so as to know the wheat from the tares? ( ! Corinthians 11:19 )

All I see are the words "beast", "false prophet", "dragon", and "horns". John defines "Antichrist" as simply someone who denies that Jesus is God in the flesh as the atonement, so literally anyone can be "Antichrist". They just like to point the finger at the RCC, or at the Pope as if they are supposed to be this prophetic super villain because they are an easy, ready made target. Revelation's depiction of end times events is more complex than such elementary, imaginary ideas.

This is one reason that I don't believe in the 2 man theory...IMHO-the Antichrist (big "A") and the False Prophet" are one and the same. I do not see Satan having some kind of "sidekick".

Sorry ...get interruption and interpretation confused. Romans 3:4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.

Get what you are saying (I think) and agree but most —not all— profess what they say is truth and they alone have the truth. I’ve considered this concerning myself in being so convinced yet so is everyone else saying something totally different. Often it has been the biggest source of doubt. I could take finding out every thing I’ve believed or ever did turns out to be false. What would be devastating would be for God not to be true. Don’t know if that makes sense.
