I have some Catholic friends that agree with primary doctrines of Christian Churches here in the US. Our disagreements are on secondary doctrines which doesn't bother me. If they want to wear long robes in church or swing containers of incense up and down the aisles, or wear big cross symbols on their chest, so be it. As long as their sole belief and faith are in Jesus Christ and do not become a stumbling block for new christians. These same friends do not agree wholeheartedly on everything that goes on at the Vatican.

So my question is, coming from a non Catholic background, do some Catholics really support the Vatican and the Pope trying to bring together Christians + Islam, THE CHRISLAM MOVEMENT ? Or is this just the Radical Catholics? My Catholic friends do not support the Chrislam Movement, so there must be different types/levels of Catholicism?

Someone please educate me?

I have studied many of the denominations of the church and generally, you will find that the basic doctrines do not vary much. It is in the peripherals that the variance comes.

In the Pentecostal churches generally, they often come about because someone wanted a ministry that they could not fulfil in the church they are in so they move out and start their own church. Or they hold to a certain doctrine that their denomination does not subscribe to so they start their own so that they can push that doctrine.

A classic example is here in Australia where a pastor in the AOG had a thing about British Israelism which the AOG would not countenance so he left and started the Christian Revival Crusade. Some 50 years later the revival has died a death. In essence, it is AOG as the British Israel thing is rarely heard of.

One thing that Satan does in the church is to try and make you ineffective. He spends a lot of time in the church even though the church doesn't seem to realise it. What he tries to do is make you compromise your beliefs and your belief in God and Jesus so that when you witness you have nothing to say because you have taken onboard the lies of the devil. Chrislam is one such attempt. This enables him to get you to lose your identity in a false religion and once it starts where does it end up.

In the gospels, Jesus had no time for the religious leaders of the day because they were false, having a form of religion but denying the power of it. When you shack up with a false religion guess who wins and guess who loses. I have just read a book about Islam in Afghanistan. In its pure expression, Islam believes they are the true religion and if there is any dialogue with them it is on the basis that you convert to Islam, not the other way around. In fact, if anyone who is a Muslim and converts to another religion they are killed.

So do not believe it is a religion of peace. It is as long as you do what they say. If you don't, you will soon find out that it is far from peaceful. And if you are a woman, stay clear of it because they are treated abominably in Muslim controlled nations.

Paul is speaking TO people IN Rome.
Nothing says Paul is exclusively speaking TO Romans or Jews or any other Gentiles.
Paul is speaking TO...any person Who Is Converted...and Speaking ABOUT them AND people WHO ARE NOT converted...and Paul references what WAS written About People NOT converted IN Christ...that "THEY" are Not Righteous!

Did you GO READ what "was Written"?

Righteousness of God is What a person "IN Christ" IS gifted By the Lord God.
And "None" (without Christ IN them) is righteous!

The angel spoke TO Mary.
The angel greeted her with a word, meant to get her attention...Hail
The angel gave Mary a message (handy, since angel's of God are Messengers of God)
The angel told Mary she was highly favored (wow, what an awesome message to receive from the Lord. Sounds like the angel is about to notify Mary of a great task the Lord has chosen her to do, don't ya think?)
The angel tells Mary the Lord is WITH her.
(That is good to know, since historically it is written the Lord was WITH others He chose to do particular tasks!)
The angel tells Mary she is Blessed among women.
(Humm Blessed among SPECIFICALLY WOMEN...NOT men? Appears her task will have something to do with her being a woman and Virgin ...Verse 27.)


And what about Luke 1:28?

To me it is quite straight forward...
Mary WAS chosen for a particular task
...and so were Others.
The Lord was WITH her
...and so the Lord was with Others.
She was highly favored
...and Others were favored.
She was Blessed
...and others were Blessed.
Her task was exclusive
...and so was Others.

So what is your point?
The scripture you mention say nothing about:
Mary being herself naturally born SINLESS.
Mary becoming SINLESS.
Mary being Righteous.
Mary having Christ IN her heart.
Mary being saved.
Mary being born again.
Mary being given another name.
Mary being a saint.
Mary being Blessed among men.

Why is it Catholic men WHO for centuries have supposedly been celibate preach this seeming odd love affair with Mary? and make up a whole doctrine about her that scripture does not teach?
