I wrote plainly, I did not have to try, it's as obvious as truth is.Are you trying to say: "No matter how cleverly one speaks, if the words that are spoken are dishonest, eloquent delivery of those words won't change them into an honest statement." ?
Sometimes it's possible to go round and round in circles...I withdrew the point that I was going to make because an argument is worthless when it comes to heart issues, and would be striving. (I felt the Spirit telling me to put on the brakes.)
well, if you perceive what was intended to be relayed and can put it in terms i might grasp, i would appreciate it, yes. But as to whether the data will cause cognitive dissonance in me or not, i dont know, maybe.Do you really want to know?
Peace!

Is truth really obvious to everyone?I wrote plainly, I did not have to try, it's as obvious as truth is.
No it is not obvious to those without faith (open and honest heart) to hear it.Is truth really obvious to everyone?
"Pilate saith unto him, What is truth? And when he had said this, he went out again unto the Jews, and saith unto them, I find in him no fault at all." John 18:38
Yes, there a lot of people who cannot see or understand God's truth and many dead people walking around us and some like sitting regularly in pews.No it is not obvious to those without faith (open and honest heart) to hear it.
John 18:37 "You are a king, then!" said Pilate. Jesus answered, "You say that I am a king. In fact, the reason I was born and came into the world is to testify to the truth. Everyone on the side of truth listens to me."
To those on the side of truth hears the truth, and when heard it is obvious and doubtless. God/Truth is pure and clear, and not distorted in any way.
The next verse is the one you mentioned above. Pilate did not know what truth is, and could not be on the side of truth to hear it. Jesus knew this and remained silent. So, Pilate went outside, where there is no truth, to seek advice. He said that he found no fault, by his laws, to convict Jesus to an execution.
(Earlier) John 18:31 Pilate said, "Take him yourselves and judge him by your own law." "But we have no right to execute anyone," they objected.
a spliff lol.
Take care of your endocannabinoid system, and it will take care of you ha
but the correct answer is a sword i guess, not that the subject was me tho
that is a belief, not an absolute truth, sorry
bam try again if you like
the , or at least a pointof the Q is to contemplate what Scripture defines as private interpretations, and how they differ among believers, who usually hold their "beliefs" as Absolute Truths. Which i think you have just done! :)What is truth? In essence it is a belief that there is something we can define that exists outside our senses which does not change, is not relative, and is eternal. That is what truth is. What we have is a mere shadow or image of it, and at best we can say what it is not. In this sense philosophers discovered nothing can be absolutely proved, just assumed.
My response is to state there is an absolute truth is a point of faith in itself.
The reason why I quoted Jesus, because He is defining Himself as "the truth".
Now if one can grasp the reality truth itself is a faith position, and within this context, so is Jesus and His testimony, then the real impact of Him, the King of creation saying He is the truth, does answer this question.
I respect your view. If one takes the naturalist point of view that reality is defined by science. Except now science has declared 95% of everything is dark matter and dark energy which we cannot define or see or detect. And when one starts to look at atoms, they are 99%+ nothing, energy contained is a small region of space. And energy is something we define by its interaction, while not knowing what it is itself. This is all rather ironic, though pragmatically science has changed our society and existence, it is still subjective and approximate. God bless you.
Nothing, if we believe we are already okay in Christ Jesus....
What is it that we have?
What is it that we want?
What is it that we need?
...
If we really believe...? Do we? If we really do than you are really right!Nothing, if we believe we are already okay in Christ Jesus.
Isn't that exactly why Christians loathe the left? How is their being dishonest with themselves so different from the leftists who think they can shout down conservatives? I see that there is similarity. If you don't believe as I do then you're wrong, you're a troll, you're misinformed, you're a tin-foil hat wearer - yet never a trip inward to see if it is they themselves who are in error.
Oh I had a melodica 50 years ago...Play that melodica! It is the keyboard that he blew into.
(I have one, too.)
Great verse from Paul....
"Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content." Phil 4:11...
yeh, you officially have issues too bro. No offense ok but you are now a legend in your own mind. Dont mean to say someone couldnt interp for you ok, but lacking an interpreter i guess you know what you should do. When ppl ask for a rephrase they are trying to hear and engage, im actually a bit jealous, hardly ever happens to me seems like, and you just piss it away. You did not wrote plainly, you did not even wrote englishI wrote plainly, I did not have to try, it's as obvious as truth is.
I am a lefty. I apologize if I have shouted you down. I’ve always thought of your posts as respectful, but firm in conviction. I am not going to give you one inch on the tinfoil hats however - good reception is hard to find
