To those on the side of truth hears the truth, and when heard it is obvious and doubtless. God/Truth is pure and clear, and not distorted in any way.

So, Pilate went outside, where there is no truth, to seek advice. He said that he found no fault, by his laws, to convict Jesus to an execution.

Yes, there a lot of people who cannot see or understand God's truth and many dead people walking around us and some like sitting regularly in pews.

What we have is a mere shadow or image of it, and at best we can say what it is not. In this sense philosophers discovered nothing can be absolutely proved, just assumed.

My response is to state there is an absolute truth is a point of faith in itself.
The reason why I quoted Jesus, because He is defining Himself as "the truth".

Now if one can grasp the reality truth itself is a faith position, and within this context, so is Jesus and His testimony, then the real impact of Him, the King of creation saying He is the truth, does answer this question.

Except now science has declared 95% of everything is dark matter and dark energy which we cannot define or see or detect. And when one starts to look at atoms, they are 99%+ nothing, energy contained is a small region of space. And energy is something we define by its interaction, while not knowing what it is itself. This is all rather ironic, though pragmatically science has changed our society and existence, it is still subjective and approximate. God bless you.

the , or at least a pointof the Q is to contemplate what Scripture defines as private interpretations, and how they differ among believers, who usually hold their "beliefs" as Absolute Truths. Which i think you have just done! :)

At the end of our course, ideally then the "have" will equal the "want" will equal the "need". For most believers, I do not believe that this is really true yet although I really cannot see so well as that the hearts of others. But... the good thing is that the end for each of us is not yet.

This is certainly where Jesus was as he walked planet Earth as a man. He did not need to learn for he already knew. Each of us need to learn and alone we cannot. This is why we need Him still... and so we must endure with Him to the end.

For me, any form of tension is a red flag to remind me to accept, accept, accept. Let go _ let God. And in my surrender to Truth everything becomes clear to me; in Christ I am okay, always have been okay, and will always be okay. In that awakening surrender I love the Love that loves me. My cup (heart) bubbles over with living water. Every single day, no matter what happens, is a day of gratitude; for the Truth sets me free from all my fears.

In regards to this original post, part of my daily inventory is to make any amends to others if I have been dishonest. Most of the time the other party did not notice the dishonesty. The more we are exposed to truth, the more sensitive we become to the subtleties of dishonesty. The more subtle the dishonesty the more abundant they are. It surely makes for becoming humble and meek.
