how do you mean? wadr this reads to me as a really pious and cool thing to say that has no functional meaning, by which i mean i am deaf here. tyfocusing on God's love and mercy and forgiveness
not my fave xlation, but encapsulates Christianity, Inc in a nutshell imoI'm reminded of . . . (from the NLT)
Colossians 2
20 You have died with Christ, and he has set you free from the spiritual powers of this world. So why do you keep on following the rules of the world, such as, 21 “Don’t handle! Don’t taste! Don’t touch!”? 22 Such rules are mere human teachings about things that deteriorate as we use them. 23 These rules may seem wise because they require strong devotion, pious self-denial, and severe bodily discipline. But they provide no help in conquering a person’s evil desires.
Amen!
well, i guess i'm getting you a la sin, and i was just trying to apply that to things we do habitually that would not be deemed sin...working for food, feathering our nests, plowing our own ground iow so to speak. Yes, all is forgiven except the one i guessIt's nice to know some people understand this! It encourages me!
Much love!
