I'm saying that God will fulfill His word.

And it will be glory upon glory when God brings in their new covenant, and fulfills in them their old.

But let me ask you, do you see what I'm saying about the passage in 2 Corinthians 3?

Don’t understand in you say they are born of the Spirit ...wouldn't that be a new creature? Ezekiel 11:19-20 And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh: [20] That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.

A new creature = one heart (who made both one). “I will put a new spirit within you.” Ephesians 2:14-16 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us ; [15] Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; [16] And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:

We fullfill the law with our love. They will obey the ordinances and statutes and precepts and laws.

Love. I guess is what I’m trying to say... in fulfilled by love. God said it is the fruits of the Spirit...one word which fulfills ALL...there is no greater glory than Love(Charity)...that being the glory upon glory. Nothing more excellent than perfect Love. 1 John 4:18
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

And when you said we fulfill by Love ...love being that which is more excellent...And then to say(if I’ve understood correctly) theirs would be the bringing in of their new covenant with “they will keep My Laws and do them and I will be their God” as if returning to the Old ...is greater then Love. up ahead when they also born of the Spirit (New Creatures) return to that which has passed away to the New Creature born of the Spirit and all things made New....to return to the Old. Then their fulfillment of that which is Old is glory upon glory. Have I understood correctly? Wouldn’t that be saying or placing something greater than Love. Love (charity)is the glory upon that which was lesser in glory and compared had no glory in Light of that more excellent which was (is)to come. Does that make sense? Where am I confused?

Israel gets everything, both old and new.

God will fulfill His Sinai covenant as an outworking of fulfilling the new covenant in Israel.

Jesus returns, the surviving Jews believe and are born again, and being born again, will live out all God every meant for them.

They will receive all the spiritual blessings of the New Covenant, and all the material blessings of the Old Covenant.

We fulfill the new covenant in faith and love, Israel shall do the same, but at the same time fulfilling the Covenant of Law in keeping all the rules.

Now, when a Jew becomes a Christian they are no longer identified nationally as Israel, as in Christ there is neither Jew nor Greek.

But in that day, the remainder of Israel will be Israel, saved as a nation.

Identified “nationally” as Israel... “Come out of her”.

Get that the promise to Abraham was an inheritance...seen in Jesus Christ as the chief corner stone ...the prophets and apostles as the foundation...the habitation of God growing. These “prophets” are there.

They are cast away as the gentiles are brought in, then, they are all saved and the dead are resurrected.

Isaiah 65:8-9 Thus saith the Lord, As the new wine is found in the cluster, and one saith, Destroy it not; for a blessing is in it: so will I do for my servants' sakes, that I may not destroy them all. “Because the former troubles are forgotten.” What does that mean for Jacobs trouble? “New creature” born of Spirit. For them to go back and by being born of Spirit keep the Old then it returns to circumcision of the flesh. Luke 5:37-39 And no man putteth new wine into old bottles; else the new wine will burst the bottles, and be spilled, and the bottles shall perish. [38] But new wine must be put into new bottles; and both are preserved. [39] No man also having drunk old wine straightway desireth new: for he saith, The old is better.

IF they are new bottles with new wine ...do not understand why old is better or remembered? Philippians 3:13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

Can’t forget Paul said “I am an Israelite” ...one whose stony heart(that stone table) was removed and a new heart of flesh was given... so no I really don’t understand reaching back to things which are behind instead of reaching forward unto those things which are before...the bringing in of the more excellent and glorious “perfect love” in Romans 13:10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

Can not get no more “fulfilling of the law” then Love. If I’m being honest I wonder if “Jacobs trouble” is used (not by you but generally speaking) to remember and look back...forgetting Israel is seen above a “New Jerusalem”.

It is a common error to attribute a consecration of oneself to God with holiness. But these are as different as heaven is from earth.

Since reading this thread, being blessed and receiving much from it, I came across these excerpts from Watchman Nee's A Living Sacrifice that might bless someone:

"Love is the basis of total consecration. The more we love Him the more we are consecrated to Him. The deeper our affection the deeper our consecration. He abandoned all of His world for us--likewise, we abandon all we have in our world for Him. Consecration is more than love--it is the action that follows love. Separate yourself from all that is in the world--from all former masters and do nothing but what The Master demands."

"The Old Testament priest wore two garments: one for glory and one for beauty. It is God who selects us to serve Him. It is in consecration that God then clothes us with glory along with beauty. Consecration aims not at preaching or working for God, but a serving. The word "service" in Romans 12:1 in the original Greek bears the sense of 'waiting on'--waiting on God in order to serve Him. What is the result of consecration? The result is Holiness--the fruit of consecration."
