Uhhhhh, YOU asked where I got my understanding of God’s word and I said from His CHURCH.

Then, you stated that I got my understanding from mere men because I said the Church was comprised of people.

Then, I had to educate you about the fact that Christ’s Church IS comprised of people – with Christ as its Head (Col. 1:18, 1 Cor. 12). I had to further expound on the Scriptures to shake you out of your ignorance that His Church is the Pillar and Foundation of Truth and the FULLNESS of Christ (Eph. 1:22-23).

I ALSO showed you that Christ identifies His very SELF with His Church (Acts 9:4-5).

SO, to recap:
The Church IS Christ, who IS the Word of God – and that is where I got my understanding.

Well, if sheep = follower of Christ (Christians) then all Christians should feel the need to defend themselves. So YES, I feel the need to defend myself, just like scripture says: Always be ready to make your defense to anyone who demands from you an accounting for the hope that is in you.

Look at this thread. Did anyone ask someone else about the hope they had? That verse does say we should attack each other personally and defend ourselves. We should be able to defend the hope.
