Why do you need me to tell you the actions of a real Christian?Well golly gee. Never thought to ask myself that question!
Can you give me some kind of guidelines? What does a real Christian do?
How come you have never thought about it?

Why do you need me to tell you the actions of a real Christian?Well golly gee. Never thought to ask myself that question!
Can you give me some kind of guidelines? What does a real Christian do?
I do not have my own definition of a true or false Christian. It depends on your definition of what a true Christian and a fake Christian is. According to my definition I believe I am 100% even as someone who has fallen many times. As far as what the test is, it would depend on your test I guess. Though I try to be ready in season and out of season, I know my daily walk with God is only one that continuously is growing...I am always learning. I think that everyone knows inside whether or not they are true or not.
A true Christian never ever wishesAbout the OP, sometimes I wish I actually were a fake Christian. Being a real one is tough.
Too much psycho-analysis, for one thing.
Because that wasn't the question. I never thought to ask myself if I was a real Christian. Why do you need me to tell you the actions of a real Christian?
How come you have never thought about it?
A true Christian never ever wishes
to be a fake Christian.
And nothing is easy
not even for a fake Christian.
Do you believe you can walk your own talk?Because that wasn't the question. I never thought to ask myself if I was a real Christian.
To me, it's a rediculous question. But since you brought it up, I thought you may be able to give me the criterum. You are the one bringing up the question. Therefore, since you are going to be the judge... Perhaps you ought to lay down the ground rules.
Personally, I don't think you can. I don't even know if you will try... But if you do try, I am pretty sure you will fail.
So your options are:
1. Try. And get it right.
2. Try, and fail.
3. Just keep being an accuser of the brethren.
If I were your friend I would be your best friend. Thanks for enlightening me. You're a good friend.
I do not have my own definition of a true or false Christian.
I do however have the same one that God uses as the standard
that is used to measure and weigh in the balance every soul.
You say you believe you are a 100%
even as someone who has fallen many times.
100% leaves no room for error.
You say it would depend upon my test
as to if you can pass it or not?
Do you believe that my test would be harder than God's test?
If I were your friend I would be your best friend.
Is it not writtenYour test would be according to your definition. And really mine is too. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart. His test is the only one that really matters. And only Him until the end knows who will pass/has passed.
No you would need to become my friend first. So then you're not my friend, but you would be my best friend if you were? That sounds like a pretty good deal. :) Let me guess. I need to become a real Christian first, yes?
No you would need to become my friend first.
In Spirit and truth.Ok. Then how do we become your friend?
Is it not written
Matthew 15:11
Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man;
but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.
Matthew 15:18
But those things which proceed
out of the mouth come forth from the heart;
and they defile the man.
Therefore anyone can look upon your heart
by the words that come out of your mouth.
Don't need to. I am more than a conqueror. Christ covered my sins.Do you believe you can walk your own talk?
In Spirit and truth.
You are nothing in the Spirit if you do not walk your own talk.Don't need to. I am more than a conqueror. Christ covered my sins.
As for me, all things are lawful, but not all things are expedient. All things are lawful but I am not brought under their power. My behavior and actions are well under the the level of living peacefully among all men.
Whether I am toeing the line spiritually, bthat is between God and myself. I am thankful he doesn't look at my flesh. Spiritually, I am still learning. I only hope he is patient.
OkYou are nothing in the Spirit if you do not walk your own talk.
You walk your own talk then you ask me about mine.Takes time. Doesn't happen overnight.
It's a two-way street, yes? You have to be a friend to others in Spirit and truth as well for it to work. I think that's what most of the people on this thread have been wondering about. Are you intent on being their friend in Spirit and truth?
