They didn't know everything, so the bible doesn't know everything.

I can read the phone directory ..but I won't know it!! Yet the names are there for those who want to take time digging and looking for it.

Im sure the bible does not "show" everything...

If we are talking about being 'caught up' in the Spirit as mature sons of God as in Revelation...3 etc ...then yes , but if you are talking about bodies being whisked away and flying upward...nah....been there done that...studied all the "types, shadows, Symbol's from Gen -Rev...I find no confirmation except the few worn out verses of Paul...used to "prove" it!

But, we must each be persuaded in our own mind... it is not a beach to die upon. x

You say you want it, but you're unwilling to put in the real study to get it. Such a weak wanting inherently equates to nothing. Real learning in any field (philosophy, science, theology, art, etc) requires study and effort.

The rapture and trinity share common ground, as it is not mentioned directly in the bible.

The big difference is the Trinity was settled by a Church council as is given by example in Scripture but the rapture idea was thought up by one silly guy. I don't really believe the rapture has any Scriptural basis unlike the Trinity where when Christ was baptized The Father talked, the Holy Spirit descended on Christ. Of course Christ said I and the Father are one (John 10:30) and Christ always was the Word (John 1:1-3). The rapture idea has only that verse and no history and council

If one is honestly seeking the God of the Universe, they WILL find Him. I believe God also decides to not reveal certain things to Christians until HIS time is right, He takes the blinders off as we show our faith in believing HIM. ♥

My question to Christians is why do Christians disagree on so much? I hear Christians say all the time that god speaks to them. If this is true, why would he not say the same thing to each person and clear up the differences in biblical interpretation? It even goes to the core of the gospel, how people are saved.

Because they don't recognize the authority of The Church that was established by Jesus. Since the Reformation men have come to believe they can interpret Scripture and the Holy Spirit is guiding them to truth even if it disagrees with the same Holy Spirit that guided you to your truth.

And who is the silly guy you mention?

God exists, because I believe and trust He exists and by and through Christ Jesus I receive knowledge, blessings, comfort and understanding.

Is that satisfactory?

No. A Muslim can say the same thing about Allah. Would you believe in leprechauns if I said I believed in them and they gave me wisdom, understanding and comfort?

You want God to be Scripturally depicted
as more right?
Or do you mean, something else?

I look at the actions and teachings in the bible and come the conclusion that most people, including myself, have better morals than god does.

We already had this exact conversation: I gave the example of how any presentation of "X believe you are saved by works" is a straw man argument misrepresenting that groups beliefs, and to really understand those beliefs (not the fake straw man), you need to be willing to listen and study. I asked if you were willing to do that study, and you immediately scoffed at that.
Hence, you have presented yourself as a person who is complaining about the lack of answers while being unwilling to listen and study the answers provided.

It is wonderful to be like I was when I didn't believe, having no formal obligation to a creator God and his holy book.

I am assuming you are referring to the Catholic church. What evidence do you have that the Catholic church is the true church? Why should I believe you have the truth over the Mormon church? Both say they are from God and both lack any concrete evidence.
