It basically says that formerly it was usually men that got tattoos.I did not vote because i do not understand the OP
It basically says that formerly it was basically men that got tattoos.
Now, though, it seems that so many women have it done also.
The poll question simply asks, Is it a viable means for both genders to express faith convictions in testimony.
It must anyway be useful to have a tattoo artist in the family.
I guess it's a bit like how, while many granddaughters will have long flowing hair, not a few grandmothers have the urge to keep theirs cropped razor short. The fact that your son had the urge to jump right in to start getting tattooed - which both genders have the urge to do now, of course - is a bit like the urge to get one's hair cropped razor short, or like the urge to pierce one's ears - (which again both genders do now, right?)He jumped right in. Could be why the grand kids aren't into them. Like my husbands hair is long and both boys shave their heads. Lol
Yes, I am sure, too, that some may have indeed acquired the habit...in more ways than one...i am sure women under a certain age who have decided to become nuns are somewhat likely to have tattoos.
If I were to have a scripture permanently tattooed on me I don’t know wich I would chose.@Waiting on him :
FYI: I thought of our brief discussion on the other thread from Ephesians 2:

Shoulder placement?
So it was your niece that tattooed you there?Left shoulder
The circles were tricky and she thought it would be easier than anywhere else

I guess that even if your daughter does get into this "loop", you might prefer not to comment to her, either. :) Silence is golden...I suppose it could have some witness avenues. But I'm so out of this "loop" that I really can't comment.
She certainly used a lot of strong, firm pigment when she needled in the design; and maybe it's one of her 'trademark' methods?Yeah
