Interesting; so what would you make of the value - as opposed of the monetary cost - of a faith / Scripture design that is inked in and causes testimony discussing and refection?
Scripture references/quotations, maybe?..only two "christian" ones...
I like those small crosses that are placed somewhere on the hand...Scripture references/quotations, maybe?
So do you think it would be a better experience overall if you went on your own? or good to go in a group of ppl who have it done in turn?
....but maybe your son in contrast didn't need any encouragement to go for his ink?Honestly, I would never have gone on my own. :) ...

PS:The 2 of us that didn't have one, probably still wouldn't have one.
So have you maybe been looking mainly Online for designs? or perhaps you've been to a local parlor just to check out portfolio designs, without obligation? No, we don't talk much about tattoos but if I do get one it is going to look like this....

PS: Maybe like so many young ppl - especially young women, now - being needled with ink was for her like a sort of compulsion to express that she was now an adult?Yes hers was about 13 years ago I do see how some are more of an addiction
Yes definitely a statement of adulthood@Waiting on him PS: It seems now that getting some ink on reaching adulthood is really not very different from the way 30 years ago they would have gotten (and maybe still do) double/triple ear piercings, really. Something that they typically do because they see themselves as growing up/having grown up, don't you think?
So it would have hardly been an unusual response from either of your daughters.
Yes, for both of them getting their ink injectings done for the first time probably simply made them feel comfortable as adults.Yes definitely a statement of adulthood
It’s very easy to be narrow minded in this big worldYes, for both of them getting their ink injectings done for the first time probably simply made them feel comfortable as adults.
It's certainly been used by young Christians as a witness tool, anyway.
Well, it's what nurses do, now.I think so. But it also would hold people accountable to their profession of faith. How would you ever live down sinning while brandishing scripture clearly written for all to see?

Well, yes, but — like both your daughters have proved to be — a lot of young Christians now seem to have proved to be a lot more open to it.It’s very easy to be narrow minded in this big world

More do than don't, especially when you get to the under 30 crowd. I hardly know any female at church that is under 30 that does not have a tattoo.
