Thanks! I didn't see it, I don't think, but it sort of petered out I see in October anyway, so here's a new thread...:)Hey there. @farouk
Not sure if you are aware, but there is already a thread on this . :)
What's the Weather Like in your part of the world Right Now?
Thanks! I didn't see it, I don't think, but it sort of petered out I see in October anyway, so here's a new thread...:)
It can get very windy there, right? :)It's cloudy and cold in the Southeast. Ugh! We've had more rain this year than any I can remember in 30 years. I'm ready for some sunshine. Maybe I should move to the Sunshine State, but then I would have to go through hurricanes. I used to live on the Texas Gulf Coast and went through a Category 3, so I guess I would rather brave the rainy weather than hurricanes.....
Any of you ever go through a hurricane???
I know the feeling, yes...Haha! Yes it petered out somewhat...I got a bit tired of posting to myself.![]()

At least in Florida you get to choose between an Atlantic beach and a Gulf of Mexico beach...
I suppose otherwise one gets to know which beaches - Atlantic or Gulf - give better sun tans. Sometimes a bit of wind with the sun can make tan cream a real necessity, I guess.I'm not very close to the coast, but yeah, the coastal areas of the Southeast all get hurricanes. Sometimes we get tropical storm force winds where I am after a hurricane comes onshore. Not fun with huge pecan trees all around my house.![]()
I wouldn't know. My younger tanning days were on the western Gulf Coast. Now, I try to preserve any wrinkle-free skin I have left.LOLI suppose otherwise one gets to know which beaches - Atlantic or Gulf - give better sun tans. Oh yes I know that the western Gulf coast of Florida seems to be especially popular, not least with Snowbird Canadians. The St Petersburg / Tampa / Clearwater side on the West seems to attract a huge amount of sun-seekers. Yes, I know that as far as tanning is concerned your bikini days would not be likely to be a lifelong practice; but most or at least many ppl who live or have lived in Florida seem to go through a tanning phase, right.I wouldn't know. Sounds like someone from Tel Aviv/Jaffa accustomed to the Mediterranean sun taking a trip up the slopes of Golan /Jebel es-Sheikh...We have been having this mysterious looking white fluffy material on the ground the last while. Kinda looks like icing sugar....but a lot colder. Hmm![]()

Good for you! :)Well, my feet are cold. But for December it is quite lovely. Long may it last! Zero is just fine for me. I hope it lasts all month.
I can but dream. :)
Snow in the air today; though here it's not staying on the ground so far.
