Family and friends can be a special blessing in difficult circumstances. That's me and my Dutch niece who came over to give me a hand moving to a different location. So thankful.

There are still a few things in the other house.
Enough for me to be able to spend the night when I go there to check on it.
I took it of the market.
The forest fires in BC the last two summers have killed part of the real estate market.
There are people who can not get fire insurance anymore and of course the banks will not issue mortgages without proof of insurance.
That's only one of the problems for buyers in BC right now.
I'm not worried. I list it again in spring.
I have somebody using my big shop on the property.
They keep an eye on the house and will plough the driveway when we get snow.
And besides all this, it's in the Lord's hands, not mine.
Praise God for pulling me through the fact that I lost my wife in this freak accident.
He's still in control no matter what's gong on.
I'm planning a trip to the Peace River country in northern Alberta next month.
Bless you Helen, Nancy, Amadeus, and the many others who are my friends on this forum.
Just keep on holding on to Him my friend, and God will keep you and help you concerning that house when the time is right. There are still a few things in the other house.

BC? quite arid there sometimes...That photo was taken near Spences Bridge in Central British Columbia.
I was taken by my pastor's wife.
Sorry about his bereavement...I've also been thinking of him much ...I presume he is just attending to the business of settling the affairs. ✟
