It's not our place to know who is saved and who isn't.
That's not what I was getting at.
I don't support OSAS.
So, I agree with you.
I quoted that scripture because I believe it dos not support OSAS.

It means the Holy Spirit grabbing you by the ankle and pulling you out of the pits of hell just in the nick of time. What does it mean: Endure till the end.
If someone is going to post Catholic doctrine,I will generally not correspond with him...he jumped at me with full barrels blasted me u and down on day one on this site...almost did not come back, lol...But God said, "grow a thicker skin" HAha. I see this arguing over and over on here...and most likely on every forum...BOL never holds back, and all I have seen is vitriol and name calling so, I pass over all of them now.
I did hesitate to get into this thread and, prob. should not have. You do know I come from a very Catholic background and ALL of my cousins, Aunts, Uncles and many friends are Catholic. I just wanted to share my opinion, didn't want to attack any person, I am sorry if anybody is offended.![]()
Well my friend, seems his frustration is rubbing off on you. Just sayin! ♥
I know TThat's not what I was getting at.
I don't support OSAS.

Paul agreed that a sinner should be thrown out of church (Corinthians).
OSAS here. That's not what I was getting at.

Why is tobacco a sin? Some churches go over board on that one.
I am aware of a couple who were told to leave because
the pastor found out that they were smoking tobacco at home.
That bizarre.
Show me one person in church who is not a sinner.
OK.Dear sister,
Catholics and even former ones, do not see the Mass as sacrificing Him again and again. They see the Mass as a means to make that one time sacrifice for sins "present" in order to be received again and again and again, but in an unbloody manner. To some of us, Protestants, it comes off as sacrificing Him again and again and again, but it is more like the Mass is a rupture in the space time continuum by which the one time sacrifice for sins is being made present at each Mass to receive again and again and again... which in God's eyes in according to Hebrews 10th chapter is still equally offensive when it is being used for paying for sins committed since the last Mass.
What does it mean: Endure till the end.
churches would be empty! Some churches go over board on that one.

Not every church or theologian believes in the rapture JIF.I believe it is referring to the race in keeping our faith in Him for abiding in Him so that we may escape the fire is coming on the earth, and the subsequent great tribulation as a result.
Those saints left behind with His seal to suffer the coming great tribulation that survive calamity of fire, He is faithful in keeping their souls to the end.
No I am not.Are you looking for answers or just an argument.
Oh good gosh Rollo!!! Yellow? Really??!It means the Holy Spirit grabbing you by the ankle and pulling you out of the pits of hell just in the nick of time.
OK.
This is a lot closer to what is going on.
OUR WORKS are being offered to God.
It's as if we were standing at the cross...just as you've said very well.
I don't think God is offended if we REMEMBER His son's sacrifice.
I think it's a good idea even for us to remember it every day.
I have to go.
Why is tobacco a sin?
They are sacrificing Jesus at every mass.If someone is going to post Catholic doctrine,
it should be CORRECT Catholic doctrine.
I know a monk and priests (3) personally.
I think THEY know if they're resacrificing Jesus at every Mass!
Bad for the body is not a sin.Bad for your body.
But of course so is over eating.
(Check some sizes in church next time.)
Yes, you are right Helen...I actually have been a tad convicted that I hid him....No worries...you don't offend anyone.
Everyone here has a right to post what they believe and their opinion on those things which are not locked down and cannot be proved either way (except be a persons own cherry-picked favourite scriptures.)
If people don't wish , or can't 'take' debate..then the Site is not for them.
Gotta have a thick skin.
The scripture says "Let every mad be persuaded in his own mind."
It doesn't say make everyone else believe how and what you believe. :)
As for BOL , actually even when he disagrees with something...he is not angry unless the other person gets angry or 'shouts'.
He returns like for like...
I have always found him courteous when I have posted to him.
Maybe you just caught him on a bed day.
When he has four people arguing with him...and someone mild like you posts to him...maybe he just presumed it was just another fight. lol
I give him a like now and again, because he actually says some good stuff from time to time. :)
Hugs ....Helen
