Hebrews 9:8 The Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing:
9:9 Which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience;

The Hebrews did not have access unto the holiest of the first tabernacle, but by the blood of Jesus they could enter into it boldly (Hebrews 10:19-20). The Hebrews could not find their required perfection (Hebrews 6:1) in the first tabernacle, nor in the Levitical priesthood (Hebrews 7:11).

Hebrews 9:10 Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation.

There were ordinances imposed on the Hebrews in regard to meats and drinks (Leviticus 11:2) and divers washings, which are baptisms (Hebrews 6:2 Hebrews 10:22 Exodus 29:4 Exodus 30:20-21 Leviticus 17:16).

Hebrews 9:11 But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;
9:12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.

The blood of bulls and goats could never take away sins (Hebrews 10:4). These sacrifices were only foreshadowing the sacrifice of Christ, and were accepted by the faith placed in them by those who were obedient in offering them (1 Samuel 15:22).

Hebrews 9:15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

Christ came only unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel (Jeremiah 50:6 Psalm 119:176 Matthew 15:24), to confirm the promises made unto the fathers of Israel (Romans 15:8).

Christ shed his blood for the new testament, on behalf of Israel alone (Luke 22:20). Christ died and shed his blood for the redemption of the transgressions committed by Israel under the first testament according to Hebrews 9:15.

The mystery that the blood of Christ was extended also to the church, the body of Christ, was at first only revealed to Paul (2 Corinthians 12:7 Romans 3:25 Romans 5:9 1 Corinthians 10:16 Ephesians 1:7 Colossians 1:14).

Hewbrews 9:16 For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.
9:17 For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.
9:18 Whereupon neither the first testament was dedicated without blood.

Without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sin (Hebrews 9:22).

Hebrews 9:19 For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people,
9:20 Saying, This is the blood of the testament which God hath enjoined unto you.

The new testament is for Israel, to forgive their iniquity (Jeremiah 31:34); it is only by God's grace and wisdom, that the blood shed by Christ for Israel's new testament forgiveness has been applied to the church, the body of Christ.

Hebrews 9:26 For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.
9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

The Lord Jesus Christ will return at the end of the world, and through the new covenant made with Israel, blot out their sin, give them a new heart to keep his law, and be a light to the Gentiles according to his purpose (Acts 3:19 Ezekiel 36:26 Isaiah 60:3).

Here is how we know that the NT is not just for Jews (Israel).

its because Paul wrote most of the NT Epistles, and He is the "Apostle to the Gentiles"., and currently the "body of Christ" is mostly Gentiles, and this is because we are located in a season where God is bringing in the Gentiles with the Gospel of the Grace of God that came from Jesus the Jew, to Paul the Jew to be shared = in "the time of the gentiles".

Yes, it was because of the majority of the Jews' unbelief that they were cut out of Israel, the olive tree, and Gentile believers, the wild olive tree, were grafted in as long as they continued in the faith.

My understanding is that the Gentiles grafted in were not Gentiles in the church today, the body of Christ, they were the Gentiles like the ones in Acts 10:44-48..........Gentiles who believed the preaching of Peter

Gentiles are anyone who isn't Jewish.
