Working out your salvation each and every day with great fear and trembling!
Keeping yourself, holy, and pure, undefiled from this perverse world and generation!
Have departed from Iniquity!
Have already crucified your flesh with all its passions and desires as commanded, through repentance!
Have ceased from sin (wilful rebellion and complacency towards God)!
Defending and contending earnestly for the truth!
Are enduring to the end, through purity, sincerity and love!
Keeping yourself in the love of God, by doing His will!
Never letting your faith (faithfulness) becomes shipwrecked!
Guarding your heart and mind from all the pollutants of the world!
There and many more I am sure I missed, but when you say you can never lose your salvation, then blame some mysterious sin nature and provision on your inability to obey Gods commands, then your salvation and foundation is built on sinking sand!
God laid down the way to the cross through His precious son, Jesus Christ, who shed His precious blood to set the captives free for real, not in provision.
God gave His creation their part to do, working together with Him, 2 Cor 6-1, is a dynamic, and glorious synergistic process, built on an obedient faith, that obeys God from the heart, 1 Peter 1-22, and walks dead to sin, and alive to God, to the bitter end!
It is a works salvation; do not let anyone tell you otherwise! ( A faith that works by love)
‘Not of works’ means the rituals and ceremonies of law, not the Deeds of faith that uphold the law by loving God and keeping His Commandments and doing what is right. Faith is imputed as Righteousness because it obeys God, walks upright; is fully persuaded and confident in God’s exceedingly great and precious promises. (Rom4:12, 19-22, 2Pet1:3-4) Believing in Christ means obeying His Word and Doing what is Right. (Jh14:15, 1Jh3:7-8) he who sins (rebellion) is a Slave to sin and of the devil. (Jh8:34, 1Jh3:8).
PS. You will be a new creation, have a new heart, and your life will be 100% different from the way it was before your conversion, called producing good fruit. But if there is NO change, NO good fruit, and you are just like before, just like the unsaved in the world, and still in much bondage to sin and the world, then you are not born of the spirit, you have never repented, and are still dead in your sins. You never had salvation, but still have a chance to become born again, and allow the blood of Christ to purge and cleanse your soul once and for all, so you can be sure of your eternal destiny, and be secure in your faith!
