That was the eathern kingdom my friend .
Now we have a kingdom NOT of this world . And JESUS would not tell us to KILL our enemies .
God had commanded them to cleanse the land.
An earthen Jerusalem with an earthen temple was to be set up .
JESUS came to fullfill the promises given to the Fathers .
Our kingdom is not of this world . And our weapons are not carnal .

God see's iniquity when we can't. God see's an accursed thing, but we can't. God is omnipotent. His ways are higher than our ways and well as thoughts. God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, because He saw something we can't see. Thou shalt not kill, is a command for a Godly society. Guess what, it didn't stop the killing. So, Joshua is told to take out Ai, what does God see that we don't.
