Yes. Agreed. And as we go through various stages of godly development where Christ becomes more and more fully formed in us then I have come to see that the means and ways, even the source can vary. Are any of these means wrong? Of themselves probably not. But the use and dependency on them could be detrimental to our growth and development.I have had my eyes opened to the things that God would have me to understand. I would say that those times were awe inspiring and, at the same time, a time of stress for me.
If a person is not willing to have their pet doctrines shaken and new revelations given, this whole idea of letting Yahweh teach you will not work. Then again, I have learned that many who accepted the teachings of their chosen denomination will also claim that their learnings came from Yahweh when it came only from man. I dare say that they firmly believe it came from God.
There is a major difference between the two sources of conviction. That is something that has to be experienced in order to be understood.
I'm glad I'm not reliant or dependant on my mothers milk. I'd not be here, like her, if I was.
The revelations that were provided through various people in the bible for the benefit of mankind definatly serve a purpose.
But for me the bible has largely served its purpose.
