1.) Jesus is Eternal Life...= Its Him.

This is why Jesus told us... "if you believe in me, i give unto you ETERNAL LIFE"...

And How does the Christian understand what that means........."to have it".

2.) We understand that Eternal life is not a period of Time........its Jesus Himself.. and the born again are joined to Him, Spiritually.
So, when you are Joined to Jesus...(Spiritually).......and Jesus is Eternal Life....= then you are now Joined to Eternal life.

1+1 =2

This is why John says that """" You can KNOW that you have ETERNAL LIFE, and this life is IN His SON"..

So, Jesus is Eternal life and notice....= """CHRIST IN YOU.. the hope of Glory"""(Glory is Heaven), .....and every born again CHRISTian is "IN Christ'.. and Jesus is : Eternal life.

3.) ) Notice John 14:6.....> Jesus said.....= "I am THE WAY... and THE Truth, and THE LIFE">... "THE LIFE"... = Eternal Life., and Jesus who is Eternal life .. = "Who came to give us Life and that more abundantly" is INSIDE every Born Again Christian.

So, that is how you KNOW, you have Eternal Life.

If you're not a Born Again Christian, if you are just water baptized and very religious.... then you dont have eternal life. You have this....... John 3:36

Yes I agree, and for us to be born again, that is God's work. Just as we didn't cause ourselves to be born physically, so we cannot give ourselves new birth.

Telling me one has to be born again is not sufficient. I was speaking more of the methodology by which a person can bacome "born again."

When we believe in Jesus..........God accepts our faith, to give us "the Gift of Salvation".

That is 3 Gifts.

1.) Salvation (The Blood Atonement) applied.

2.) The Gift of Eternal Life

3.) The Gift of Righteousness

and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.

So, the good news, is that once we've given God our faith in Christ, then that has completed what God requires of us so that he can save us for eternity.
This means that its "one and done".
God accepts our faith ONE TIME........and that is WHY He gives us forgiveness of Sin and the New Birth., and this completes becoming a Christian.
Now we have Salvation, we have eternal life and we have been "made righteous".

You can actually show him also what john wrote to the church . its in the fifth chapter .
HE who beleives that JESUS is the CHRIST is born of GOD .
And the born again are known by their fruits . Why did i just say the latter you might be wondering .
Because a lot of lips , Including my own at one time , could claim to BELEIVE
and yet we knew HIM not . wallowing in sin and justifying our evil .
Now if a sheep does slip and err , WELL our duty is to correct such a one .
But beleive me , you can surely know them by their fruits . I see many who profess to beleive JESUS is Christ
and they holding up rainbows and all sorts of other sins do they justify , day in and day out .
THESE DO NOT KNOW HIM . its lip only and not a true conversion .
BUT OH YES we can surely KNOW we have ETERNAL LIFE .
WE KNOW IT CAME OF CHRIST and not ourselves . If any thinketh
he is saved by his works and his merits and hollers one cannot KNOW they have eternal life
until they die, THAT MAN IS DECIEVED and trusts IN HIS OWN SELF and thus He will be told

When i look to myself all i see by grace is a man in dire need of the LORD forever and always .
Hear ye the parable of the two men .
both lie dying on their bed . both had professed to beleive in JESUS .
The sons of both those men came to visist the dads .

You always did much good works , you fed the poor , you gave to all in need .

The Living Spirit Of God does the birthing, a “ mind blowing “ birth at that..Spirit gives birth to spirit...our spirit knows that it’s in God’s spiritual realm....and we only listen to the testimony of his Spirit, that testifies Of God’s truth to our heart/ spirit.

Once that happened to me...that’s it...my new life is in Christ..onwards and upwards from there....

Ain’t no easy road though...only the Spirit can keep his children on that narrow path...where we will and do meet false prophets, who try and take all Glory away from God....we don’t follow man...we are led by the Living Spirit....Praise God and give him all the Glory...in Jesus Name...Amen!

God drew me to Jesus...God drew me to repentance and forgave my sin...God drew me to initially believe in Jesus, as we can’t become Born Again without the Name Of Jesus....he then gifted me the supernatural faith to know Jesus and believe in Jesus from within my spirit, as it had been birthed by the Spirit Of God..

I was Born Of The Spirit, just like Jesus explains to Nicodemas...the Spirit is like the wind...he hovers and we never know the time, day or place, when he decides to birth our spirit into his...a “ mind blowing “ Living supernatural birth, that only the Living Spirit Of God can perform.

A lot of Christians, are not secure in their Salvation.
They are not certain if they have "eternal Life".

John, in his 1st epistle, .... = wants us to """" know that we have eternal life"""", and how to know it, so that we can feel confident.

If this was not important to know, then im certain that John would not have wanted us to know it.

JOHN says that we are to understand that JESUS...."".is eternal life""", and if we have Him in us, then that means we are "in Christ">, so this is the proof that we have "eternal life".

Jesus also tells us that when we trust in Him.....when we Give God OUR Faith in Jesus.......that Jesus "Gives us eternal life, and we shall never go to Hell, (Perish)".

So, if you have been taught to doubt your Salvation.........and are in doubt of it....then just know that once you gave God your faith in Christ, God accepted your faith, and gave you ETERNAL LIFE, that is found "IN Christ". = FOREVER.

SALVATiON, is 3 Gifts from God.

1.) "The Gift of Salvation

2.) "The Gift of RIGHTEOUSNESS"

3.) "THe GIFT of Eternal Life".

I am entitled to post the same as everyone else..

My belief differs from the way that you believe....which you have tried to dismissed many, many times, and accused me of being in a cult and a demon possessed believer....accuses those who don’t agree with his belief ...therefore we are a Calvinist....because he doesn’t understand our testimonies....so, we must be demon possessed all according to him..sigh.

I didn’t give my faith to God..God gifted me with supernatural faith..when my spirit became Born Of The Spirit.

How I came to have eternal life...well, it wasn’t by me giving my faith to Jesus..

God drew me to Jesus, God brought me to repentance, God brought me to believe in the Name Of Jesus...God did it all...Born Of The Spirit..that’s how I know I have eternal life...Praise God.
