Television Christianity is nothing but hype and performance, wealth and popularity, all in the name of Christ. That is what those supposed Christian leaders live and model for the masses. Do we think that is a good example they are setting for the flock of Christ? Looks to me like these ministry leaders exemplify the very thing Jesus refused when He was being tempted in the wilderness, when the devil offered Him the kingdoms of the world. So THAT's what has been installed in the White House as essentially the state religion and I can't see it as a good thing at all. But what it is, is deceptive. So let's not be deceived by it. Merging state and religion has never been a good thing....when that fruit ripens it produces such things as so-called holy wars and bloodshed and forced conversion. Confusing, conflating and mixing the kingdoms/governments of this world with the kingdom of God is not a good thing. God's kingdom is to be separate and set apart (that is what holy means) from the world, not bowing down to it.
