1 John 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

1 John 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

1 John 5:1 Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.

1 John 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

1 John 5:18 We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.

In all of the above verses John is addressing those who are "born of God".

Whosoever is born of God, does not commit sin, loves his brother, overcomes the world, keeps himself and that wicked one does not touch him.

1 Peter 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

Peter distinguishes being born again, as not being born of the corruptible seed of the flesh, the natural physical descent, but rather, the incorruptible word of God.

John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
John 1:13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

Israel had to believe on the name of Jesus to be born of God, not just born physically an Israelite.

Matthew 3:9 And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.

John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Israel would not enter into the Davidic kingdom on earth, and reign with Christ, by being born children of Abraham in the flesh; Israel had to be born again by the Spirit of God (John 3:5-8).

John 3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

It is the nation of Israel that must be born again. It is not accurate to say members of the body of Christ, in this dispensation, are born again; in all of Paul's epistles being born again is never applied to members of the body of Christ.

I would teach newbies that they must be born again in order to inherit the life of the age to come.

Dispensationalists are cutting themselves off from being born again.

People have been culturally ingrained to use this term "born again" (I think Jimmy carter may have started it)
I get they mean saved
People can use it if they want.....just saying it's not Biblically correct to do so

People who are listening to, believing and obeying Jesus use it. That is what I would tell newbies makes it biblically correct.

Paul also describes the New Birth as "New Creation". Same concept.

Here we go. We'll get you an NKJV:

But if you prefer the KJV's "new creature" as the translation of the Greek καινὴ κτίσις (literally, "new act of creation"), it doesn't matter. The event of becoming a new creature is the same concept as being "born again".

Ephesians 2:1

And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins,

Ephesians 2:5
even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),

Colossians 2:13
And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses,

Born again is just a term which means we were dead in sin, and we are now made alive in christ.

That is why Jesus said in John 3. Unless one is born again, he will not see the kingdom of God. He who believes will never perish, but has everlasting life. this new birth is not only being made alive, but it is forever.

There is a difference between created and born but no matter

There are problems with verses in the translations in that they change verses
an example

KJV
Romans 4:25 “Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.”

NKJ
Romans 4:25 “Who was delivered up because of our offenses, and was raised because of our justification.”

NKJ denies Christ died in our place and rose so we could be justified

If you take that position on the "for" vs. "because", then KJV says that Christ died so that we could offend. I'm sure that's exactly what Paul intended.

For the same reason, I agree that "because of our justification" is awkward and implies that our justification caused Jesus to be resurrected.. If I were rigorously translating Romans 4:25, I would take one from KJV and one from N-KJV:

Romans 4:25 “Who was delivered up because of our offenses, and was raised for our justification.”

However, that would obscure the lyrical impact of the paired and contrasting διὰs in the Greek, and I compliment both sets of translators for recognizing and trying to preserve that.

Bible versions including the NKJ affect salvation, doctrine, and assurance of faith

So if one is only going to compare verses if they are rigorous then we can assume they wont and will not be getting the whole word of God

Here is a few more verses to consider

(KJV) “For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.” I Cor. 1:18
(NKJV) “…who are being saved: Not are saved

“The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts. 5 His ways are always grievous; thy judgments are far above out of his sight: as for all his enemies, he puffeth at them.” Psalms 10:4-5
(NKJV) “… always prospering …” not always grievous

“For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.” II Cor 2:17
(NKJV) “For we are not, as so many, peddling the word of God; but as of sincerity, but as from God, we speak in the sight of God in Christ.”
corrupt changed to peddling

You wont find that in the Bible
[Rom 6:15 KJV] 15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.
