Here are Jesus' words in case they've been forgotten;
'...and the King will answer and say to them, 'Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to me....' Matthew 25:40-45
Acts 27:26
"And he made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their dwelling place. .."

Salvation and Christianity are an exclusive identity.
If borders, limits, constraints, were not an issue our faith would be Ecumenist. And Salvation would be universal. I.E. Everyone,Sinner and Saved alike , are redeemed and Saved.

Brethren is the keyword there, these are called brethren

Hebrews 2:11 For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,

Mark 9:41 For whosoever shall give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because ye belong to Christ, verily I say unto you, he shall not lose his reward.

Mat 10:40 He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.
It is possible to understand these texts as if they were exclusive.....which is what religious folk tend to do, however the story of the good Samaritan Jesus coined, as well as other stories in the same vane indicate that our neighbour or brothers are other children of Adam, ie the whole human family.

Tom Homan says we are cutting off big money from the Cartels by stopping drug trafficking, prostitution of women and children, transportation of terrorists and others across the Mexican border.

@quietthinker These Cartels regularly kill judges, law enforcement and politicians in their home countries....they are vicious!!! I have a Mexican neighbor/friend who vacationed in Mexico...he was warned not to go off of the resort property as they can get killed or kidnapped.

That verse was exclusive to the context you took it out of as far as "the least of these my brethren" go. It is also possible to misunderstand that Jesus was calling the people of this world his brethren, which is what non religious people tend to do.

The good Samaritan is not obligated to chase down the theives that the man fell victim to and give them each EBT cards, and hotels on our dime and take care of them off the back of others labor and tax money. If they be thieves they will suffer for being thieves* (1 Peter 4:15). We as a nation have been rewarding theives in our nation to the point no stores can stay open for lawlessness.

Bending it any way that suits ones narrative is a prerogative. It has however consequences the which we will answer for.
Will we be found speaking well of God or not? Will we be found representing his intent or not? Will we be found using scripture to feather our own nest, prejudices, bias's and all or will we be found 'having no lie in our mouths'? (Rev. 14:5)

Defending law breaking is indeed something to answer for.

Jesus set the narrative as far as who is called his brethren. So we don't want to bend it to mean something other than what he means by something, especially with intent.
There are false brethren too.

It has however consequences the which we will answer for.
There are consequences tied into that for sure

Peter says this here

1 Peter 4:11 If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

@Ritajanice, it’s sad how many Christian’s refuse to answer questions, isn’t it?
It is, why not just say that they don’t understand...there is no shame in that or embarrassment

if I don’t understand a question, I will say that I don’t understand the question or even scripture...

And there is also plenty in the Bible that the Spirit hasn’t opened my heart and mind to understand.

I’m very secure in my salvation and very secure in knowing, that I couldn’t possibly know every question that is presented to me , also regarding the Bible.

Wow how did you get the internet and phone for that prices, that’s amazing xx
I had a smart meter fitted today, we had one when we moved in but it went wrong, so they had to change the meter. I know they were pushing for smart meters at one time. I am still on prepayment meter as I want to have control of what I am spending - lots of people have issues with the smart meters when they are on the billing method - - well I know many with British Gas have issues as I see the complaints on Facebook
I left British Gas, they were a rip off, plus they gave me no help about anything whatsoever...I’m with E- ON as I only have electricity in my home.......there is gas, but all the pipes needed renewing....which would cost a lot of money, ..I’ve stuck with storage heaters...I use about £5-£6 in electric every 24 hours .during these winter months...I have both storage heaters on, I have a huge one in the sitting room and a small one in the bedroom...a government grant funded them for me...the big storage heater cost over a £1,000 pounds....they will also fund solar panels for the roof...I don’t want those...I just can’t stand the thought of all that scaffolding in my garden....having the storage heaters were bad enough, with all the inconvenience...I’m getting to old to be dealing with all that....
( I am with British Gas )
I’ve been with plus net for years,( internet only) every time my contract needs renewing, I phone them and remind them how loyal I have been to them for years LOL, and if they don’t give me a good price, that I will leave and go elsewhere,LOL.
Rita ,my Son shops around every year before his contract ends, to get a better deal, I’m sure he pays less than me, I will ask him...
I too have got an electric key meter, like you I also like to be in control, especially during the winter months, I would be to concerned paying it every 3 months or even monthly, I’ve had gas and electric key meters for the last 30 odd years...I think we pay a bit extra for that service...

I’m on storage heaters ..I should have looked into economy 7....it would save me quite a bit on my bill apparently..the only thing is, I have to get a private electrician in to do the job..I’m going to enquire soon, once I have the money saved..I have no idea how much they will charge me...x

How do they know you aren't watching it? If you say you aren't....I know Christians would be honest but others might watch it anyhow.
I have no idea, back in the day when it was a requirement if you had a TV I they would have detector vans that could ‘ detect ‘ if you were watching a TV in your house.
I don’t see how they can prove it either way, but who knows what they can detect these days !!!!!

Because that is not the truth. The question reveals the truth, confirmed by their refusal to answer it.

This is not a Christian thing; it is a thing among those who are willfully ignorant of the truth.
You are trying to generate sympathy for the wrong group. Where is your sympathy for the Americans killed, raped and kidnapped into child sex trafficking by illegal aliens?

I came to the realization the Leftists are trying to generate sympathy for the wrong group. In response to the corrupt FBI agents being walked out the door, they invoke sympathy by their inability to get a job or pay bills. Where is the sympathy for the 1500 victims of their abuse of power jailed for 4 years for the crime of trespassing - unable to get a job or pay bills? Talk about cruel and unusual punishment!

The same thing with Deep State bureaucrats. The Leftist propagandists try to generate sympathy for their "career dedication to public service regardless of turmoil from elections every 4 years" AS IF they perform an invaluable service and are pure of heart! Where is the sympathy for the American taxpayer that is $36T in debt?

Since I was in high school 4 decades ago, the debt became my singular political issue. My sympathy then was for my grandchildren and other Americans not yet existing who will be born as economic slaves to the Deep State. Where is the sympathy for the unborn slave?

Leftists propagandists are the worst! They have the audacity to want us to have sympathy for alien criminals and evil doers getting justice and American victims none at all!

did I hear right, that it’s killed thousands?
Yes, about 60,000 per year; more than the Vietnam War. Now fentanyl deaths is one of the top causes of death in America. Why aren't those bleeding heart liberals protesting in the streets, demanding the border be closed to end this carnage?

They're duped by Leftist propagandists trying to generate sympathy for the wrong group. Where is their sympathy for the Americans killed, raped and kidnapped into child sex trafficking by illegal aliens?

Petulant post. Someone else observed you are a pathological American hater. Australia is our ally but why are you even posting in a thread bemoaning what the American government is doing regarding an internal matter after the biggest landslide in US history?

Blame is the game of the ignorant!

What game are you playing?

Slander and false witness is a common tool of the Leftist propagandist.

What have the strong and the brave morphed into is my question

Invalid question. The strong and brave are also resilient, rising up against the threat of globalism. This is what justice looks like. This is what strong leadership looks like. This is what a freedom loving people acting on their principles (and laws) looks like.

Q. ICE raid on churches, have they gone too far?
A. No.

There is a meme that says "I want deportations to continue until I no longer have to press #1 for English." I like that sentiment. :spring:

My observation Is you are threatened by anything you feel exposes you. Categorisation is your defence mechanism. It in turn reveals the short sightedness with which you approach a conversation.

My observation is you are threatened by anything that exposes your false belief in equality. Denying categorization is your defense mechanism, what you hide behind, which is attacking via innuendo, slander, personal attack and emotional manipulation. It in turn reveals your complete inability to actually have a conversation, most clearly seen by evading questions.
