PSTD is considered a problem in itself so how is it not just about telling them your problems? Isn't PE therapy is a part of that therapy?

Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE) is a form of cognitive-behavioral therapy designed to treat post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). And please do not mistake my own personal stance as if I disregard anyone listening to us as utterly useless (whether you have to pay someone to do it or not). If it were utterly useless there would be no need to pray to our heavenly Father pour ourselves out even to Him at times. He has just always proven (at least to me) to have the fix my soul needs (so I will always promote Him as that way of life for a true soul fix) and not another. The benefits include, He is always there (no transportation needed to get to His location). He is always affordable (as in free) and He can bless the poorest of us (in such matters whether we are financially poor or in spirit) and there is just nothing impossible for Him. However, the scripture does show us that even Jesus did not do many mighty works in certain places because of the peoples unbelief.

Maybe you did not take advantage of this (personally) but I was just listing how part of the instituted therapy for PSTD is described and how it is said to work when someone opts for this therapy.

The other parts of this therapy are said to consist of Psychotherapy and Medications

Hey, I had walking pneumonia for almost a year many years ago, and I was misdiagnosed with depression and I was prescribed an SSRI. By the time the doctors figured out what I had (I had stopped taking the SSRI, and went cold turkey). I was never really a drug person, but I was not informed at the time either (this was almost 20 years ago). Well it WAS HELL to get off that. I ended up doing an internet search back then (when there was no internet censorship like there is today) and thousands and thousands of people were saying the same. And I had to figure out how to do this on my own (which I eventually did) because the side effects were horrendous. And the only thing the doctor said (in the days when I actually went to them and trusted them) was it was all in my head and I shouldnt believe everything I hear on the internet.

Because really, when you are going through something like that you might begin looking for your own symptoms (as they might be found) in others experiences with the same thing (and I was finding it). It certainly wasnt normal in my own experience, and was not just in my head as the doctor said (or all the others heads). And I wasnt looking for "trouble" but I was "in trouble" and doctors were both the initial cause of it and useless after the fact. So I do have a bias against doctors because of that and for a few other life experience type reasons.

Back then I would just take what was precribed me without asking any questions. So I guess you could say that maybe the experience was a little needful, without it (and others) I might have still had a little trust left in it. but after that I aint sticking anything from big pharma in me unless I am dying and in lingering on mode and would like a morphine coctail on my way out. Hoping I wont even desire that stuff, that I could just get hit by a bus or something and move on from here

I once watched a show back in 1979 called Monkey Magic.
Love that show ! Pointed it out to mates of mine back then and most were to racist to watch a Asian show.
