We see what is basically a attack much like the Pogroms of old, to wipe out the Jews, and yet the blame falls on them rather than the perpetrators.
Antisemitism in the form of persecution and Pogroms were happening way before the Holocaust, and everyone knows what happened in 1492 in Spain, but something else happened that year. In 1492, King Ferdinand II of Aragon and Queen Isabella I of Castille issue the Alhambra Decree, mandating that all Jews be expelled from the country. History records what happened, "Spanish Jews were forced to renounce their faith or leave their thousand-year homeland behind. Meanwhile, the Spanish economy crumbled as hundreds of thousands prepared for departure, liquidating their assets and scrambling to arrange their affairs."

This had started even earlier back a century before, in 1391, when a wave of anti-Jewish riots swept through Spain, where thousands were killed. Others were forced to accept Christianity, so you can see the problem with the sincerity of these "conversions", so many of these "converts" now became persecuted by the Inquisition. And everyone knows the Roman persecution of the Jews leading up to the destruction of Jerusalem in AD 70, and millions being killed or were exiled or fled for their lives.

So why was there such hatred of the Jews, it cant be explained by the accusation that the Jews were Christ-killers., as anti-Jewish riots swept through Roman Empire as Christians were dying in the Coliseum and spread even in non-Christian areas. So what made them different than the people in the other nations and areas, well the day of worship certainly made them stand out.

Two far simpler explanations.
1/ Jews through their dietary and marriage laws have always been a separate people, not integrated into society and as such have bee a object of suspicion, the obvious whipping boy for blame.

2/ it is spiritual. The devil hates them because they are special to God so he incites hatred using in the ' christian ' world the accusation of Christ killers, in the islamic world mohammed targeted them so moslems obediently hate them.

The Sabbath has little or nothing to do with it.

It is simply because the word innately knows the jews are Gods covenanted people, even when they are being disciplined by god.

God even prophesied that during their diaspora they would be a hiss and by word every where they went.

The Sabbath doesn't cause antisemitism. However, antisemites will hate the Sabbath.

Since no Sabbath observance was mandated for anyone but Israel, why would their day of worship have anything to do with why they are apparently hated in the world?

The Jewish people as a culture viewed themselves as somewhat superior to the people of the nations because of their special status as God‘s chosen people……and they manifested an inordinate interest in money and material things after their release from captivity in Babylon….and neglected God’s house of worship to build and embellish their own fine houses. They never quite regained their relationship with their God and by the time of Jesus arrival as Messiah, they were not ready for a man of humble birth and a worker of miracles. They expected a strong political figure who would establish his kingdom on earth and put the pagans in their place….giving the Jews their desired status and freedom from gentile oppression. How could this Jesus be anything but an apostate trouble maker?

The sole purpose of Israel’s choosing however, was to produce the promised Messiah and once he was on the scene, through their pride and disobedience, they failed to accept him…..so God’s purpose in connection with natural Israel was replaced by a new spiritual nation, whom Paul called ”the Israel of God”….(Gal 6:16) these were members of the Christian congregations who were both Jewish and gentile disciples of Christ.…no longer under Jewish law, but under the law of the Christ, who became their teacher.

Jesus said that God had abandoned his rebellious people because they had proven to be incorrigible.
His purpose in connection with them was complete. (Matt 23:37-39) Unless they blessed the one who came in God’s name, they would not be saved. They have rejected him for almost 2000 years.

They chafed under the domination of their homeland by successive pagan nations down through history, as Daniel had foretold. But Messiah would not bring about the change in government that they sought.
In Jesus’ day the Jewish Zealots were planning a revolt against Rome, which ended badly at Masada. The. Christians were no part of that.

As far as Rome was concerned, the Christians were simply another sect of Judaism. They were all hated but the Jews provided reasons to be hated, whereas the Christians had done little to provoke the hatred and persecution they received from the Jews and the later political elements.

Those who believe that the fleshly nation of Israel are still God’s chosen people are unacquainted with the word of God. As a nation they were handed back to the world…..they are blood spillers like all the rest. (Isa 1:15)

We're is the 'mandate' for Sunday, nowhere. Nothing, even you know it's a false teaching brought in by the apostate church. So why follow this Antichrist entity into their changes to God's true day, need to decide between man's tradition or what is from God. At the end, those who know, God will not wink and perdition awaits. I know you are a true believer, but step back from the abyss of the wine this false church brings..

I don’t think you understand our position @Hobie….we do not have a specific day of the week to worship Jehovah because Christ abolished the law of which the Sabbath observance was a part.
No specific day of the week was needed for Christians to worship and serve the true God. Christ proved that every day was suitable to offer praise and worship to God, and to preach in all the earth about God’s Kingdom.

Acts 15:28-29 proves that gentiles were not under obligation to observe the Sabbath or to practice circumcision, or any of the hundreds of laws given to Israel. The Holy Spirit moved the apostles to conclude what were the “necessary” requirements for Christians (both Jews and gentiles) to keep, and these were part of Christ’s teachings. No Sabbath was mentioned.

I have shown you many times that Christ’s death freed the Jews from “the curse” of the law, which was given to Israel alone. No other nation on earth was given that Law. Jesus was a Jew and as such was under obligation to observe the Law, but he died to fulfill it…the principles remained and were embodied in the unanimous agreement mentioned in Acts 15:28-29…..The “necessary things” did not include a Sabbath observance.

Yet there is no mandate against it…..it’s a personal choice to single out a specific day for rest and worship.
Not Saturday…not Sunday…not any specific day is said to be set aside for worship for Christians, as Israel was under obligation to do.

In today’s world, people work 7 days a week…and a day(s) to rest could be dictated by their employers.
But worship is so important to Christians that they always have their specific days to hold their gatherings for worship. JW’s often share their Kingdom Halls with other congregations, so a schedule is necessary so that all can share in worship on whatever days or evenings are planned for their time share of the facility. This works well because there is no specific day of the week where all must worship on the same day.

Its not the day of the week that matters, but the worship that goes to the true God on all days of the week.

But Mohammed told his followers to leave them be, the 'people of the book, the Jews,
The quran says " "To Allah, there are no animals viler than those who do not believe and remain unbelievers" (Sura 8:55 )"
' first Muhammad lived peacefully with the Jews, shortly after his emigration or Hijrah from Mecca to Medina in AD 622. In fact, he saw himself as a reformer of Judaism. But as he pushes his ideas on to the rather large and strong Jewish communities in Medina, trouble erupted, because the Jews quite rightly refused his ideas. Muhammad quickly grows in his hostility towards them, so that he eliminates most of them from Medina, either by expulsion or death or enslavement. He becomes excessive, and this can only inspire terrorists like bin Laden and non-violent fanatics—and average Muslims.' From Muhammad and the Jews

In Islam there are various groups the main ones are Islamic or non Islamic ( kaffirs )
Non Muslims are very definitely at the bottom of the heap, legally discriminated against and with very few rights.

Nor were the 3rd, 5th, 6th, 8th, 9th and 10th commandments. So, were those not necessary things anymore?

To be a Christian in an Islamic country is to be a 2nd class citizen with very few rights or resources In law.

Take a look at the Top 50 worst countries in which to beat Christian and start a prayer group in your church.

If you check Jesus’ teachings, you will find that the principles of those important Commandments were incorporated in just two…..which he said the whole of the law and the prophets were based on. i.e. ‘ love God with one’s whole heart, mind and soul…and to love one’s neighbor as one’s self’. (Matt 22:36-40)

Since Christ’s death ended the written law, the principles upon which it was based were now a matter of conscience, not law. (Gal 3:10-14) The “necessary things” announced by the elders and the apostles in answer to whether gentile Christians had to observe the law of Moses, gave all Christians the same set of rules…..

Acts 15:28-29…
”For the holy spirit and we ourselves have favored adding no further burden to you except these necessary things: 29 to keep abstaining from things sacrificed to idols, from blood, from what is strangled, and from sexual immorality. If you carefully keep yourselves from these things, you will prosper. Good health to you!”

No Sabbath was mentioned as one of the “necessary things” incumbent on Christians, whether Jewish or gentile. In the context of the apostles’ words, the Christian faith did not have an extensive list of ‘do’s and don’t’s’…..but there were specifics and those necessary things were highlighted.

Jewish law contained detailed instructions about many things (over 300 laws that they had to observe) but the 10 Commandments were the most important. Yet still, the law was given only to Jews. People of the nations who wanted to serve the true God had to convert to Judaism if they wanted to be accepted as practicers of the “Jewish” faith, which for them meant keeping the law with its Sabbath. But for Gentiles who became Christians, no conversion to the Jewish faith was necessary, therefore no circumcision or observance of a weekly Sabbath was “necessary” for them.

Aunty, I will say this with kindness, all those who transgress the law have put themselves squarely in danger of the lake of fire. You know the truth of what the Creator made for you, holy and blessed, and yet you turn away from it. Yes, we can pray and sing and read our Bibles any and every day, but only one day is the gift God gave us, to cease from work and rest, the other 6 are given for work. To substitute any of the others for the Sabbath, which are for labor, is rejecting what He made for us out of love. If your daughter or son or anyone who loves you made a gift for you to give this valentines, would you throw it in the garbage and go get one out on the street. No aunty. I know you are a true believer, but on this, you have erred. There is only one day made for man as the Sabbath, and made holy and carries God's blessing. That is my witness to you, from God's Word.

I understand your concern, (and thank you) but biblically speaking, I can find no mandate for Christians to observe the Sabbath, because it was part of the law that God “took out of the way,” so that Christ’s sacrifice alone covers our sins, if we obey his teachings. We are not under the law of Moses. (Rom 7:6)

You mention “Valentines” as if these observances should mean something to Christians…..we are commanded to observe nothing but the memorial of Christ’s death…..that’s it…..our gatherings for worship do not include man-made celebrations that come right out of paganism. Do you observe Christmas and Easter? If you do, then perhaps it’s you who needs to read the Bible and see what God requires, and what he says must not be part of our worship….? (2 Cor 6:14-18)

At Deut 5:15, Moses said: “You shall remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt, and the Lord your God brought you out of there by a mighty hand and by an outstretched arm; therefore the Lord your God commanded you to observe the sabbath day.” (NASB)

The sabbath was given to the Israelites to commemorate their deliverance and to act as a sign of their covenant relationship with God. (Ex 31:6-17) That cannot be said of Christians.

Is Antisemitism caused by hatred of the Sabbath?

Substituting God's rest for man's own ideas, (let the reader understand) has short legs.

It is clear from Christ's own words that those seeking eternal life must follow the Commandments, and from your own words Sunday has nothing given by God as the day of worship. The mark of the Beast is its mark of authority, the substitute for the Sabbath, when we get to the end, this will be the point in which many Christians will fall. If one does not grasp or comprehend what deception the church of Rome has set as its mark, one could say, I didn't know. But you know with clarity who is this apostate church, Babylon, there is no reason for any other day as the Sabbath. You have eyes that see, the Holy Spirit has guided you past many obstacles to where you are today. Don't stop coming closer to God's truth, I will keep in prayer that God opens fully and shows the truth of the matter..

Anyone who calls the Jews the murders of Christ does not understand their faith. Jesus had to die to make the sacrifice or their would be no salvation. If you tried to stop Christ from making the sacrifice he would say the same thing he said to Peter "Get behind me Satan" Do you not understand that? The Roman's crucified Christ at the request of the Jewish leader who could not get their hands dirty during passover they had to remain clean . Jesus was seen as a trouble maker by the Roman's.Of course everyone involved was Jewish it was in Israel Gods holy-land how could it be anyone else what other people ocupied the land.Stop looking for someone to blame your to blame by your sins find your salvation.Jesus is not going to show up in China he is going to come to Gods holyland and to its people who practice the faith and believe in the God of Jacob and the old covenent.Which was nowhere else in the world.

Antisemitism comes from Satan and they are his follower practicing hatred.
