That's NOT what the story says at all. He was preached Christ Jesus, he believed and verbally confessed his belief, he asked about baptism since they were near a body of water, so, one can only conclude that part of the gospel Philip preached included the subject of baptism and it's absolute need, he was then baptized. And yes, contrary to your erroneous response, he was part of the NT dispensation, as are we since was after the death of Christ.

Peter and the twelve preached the gospel of the kingdom......this is the kingdom on earth in which Christ will reign and the believing Jews would reign with Christ as kings and priests....they were water baptized for the remission of sins according to the first covenant laws to be cleansed for the priesthood..
The Gentiles werent offered the kingdom but they could by believing enter into the kingdom as well but werent promised to reign as kings and priests
This is the gospel you are promoting....the kingdom is not being offered today

Now remember...Paul speaks in the same deity as does Jesus according to you.

Paul was saved by grace
Paul preached Christ as Son of God after conversion
He would receive further revelations about the cross over time
[Act 16:31-32 KJV] 31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. 32 And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house.

It was an encounter with Jesus.
