It is THE lie which spawns every other lie.
When Jesus said 2025 years ago,
"The god of this world have blinded the minds of unbelievers."
Even He said about, The doctrine of GOD which is the 'wheat', and the doctrine of the devil is the 'tares'.
It is in the parable of the owner of a field who went out to sow the 'seed of wheat'.
And during the night when he rested, then the enemy came and sowed the 'seed of tares' in the same field.
i believe the 'field' is the 'world', and 'seed of wheat' is of GOD and HIS every word, the Light and the Law, and finally grace and truth.
And the 'seed of tares' is of satan and his every word, the darkness and the lawlessness and always lies and deception.
Therefore since Genesis in the world the 'wheat' are GOD's people, and the 'tares' are satan's people.
To these same 'tares' in the future GOD will then send a 'strong delusion', one that s not as before.
That these people have no chance of return, since the Gospel time has come to an end, timed by GOD.
Remember Jesus said,
in the last days there will be famine of the word of GOD?
In the past yes, all of these 'tares' had yet the chance to hear the Gospel, repent and be saved and inherit eternal life.
Meantime at present in the world, the 'wheat' or 'church' representing the Gospel of Light still minister to the world of 'tares'.
Remember a saying, 'A lie to a mountain of lies'?
i believe brother Ray Comfort the evangelist is right, the 'tares' are hostile towards the Gospel when is preached.
This is because the sin and darkness they're living in is being 'exposed' by the Light and law, and the Gospel is their hope.
When he encounter those he minister to, have some resentment, he then ask them the reason.
Whether is it because something immoral or sin they're committing that convicts and prevents them?
Surprisingly, they admit, yes!
That's why the 'tares' love or loved darkness and lawlessness, and to them Christianity the 'wheat' holds them 'guilty', and they're apparently 'hostile'.
That's when they'll meet the 'anti-Christ', the 'lawless one', and the world will embrace him as their 'messiah'.
Then they'll have an upper hand and the more they'll persecute Christians in the coming 'dark ages'
We also have to take seriously and minister prepare our youth, that during the past 'dark ages' put together.
Many Christians were persecuted horrifically, while GOD remain silent and allowed it.
This is because He separates the 'genuine believer' from the 'fake believers', or rather 'lukewarm believer'.
That's why in the coming future, one will be taken while the other will be left behind.
In other words, one was wise, prepared and ready to meet the Lord, even though He will come a bit late.
While the other was unwise, unprepared, not ready and delayed to meet the Lord, who's already come and gone.
Shalom in the name of Jesus Christ.
