Matthew 18:4
Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

Sure He loves all people, He just does not accept all people
Have you had a run-in with people claiming to be followers of Jesus who weren’t humble @NotTheRock? If you have, has their behavior kept you from following Jesus?
I do not know if I have been "born again"
Hi. Please read my follow-up post just above yours. Thanks.
Yes, Christians tell me that Jesus tortures people without mercy day and night forever and ever in Hell.

That’s horrific. Not all Christians believe that he does.
Not all claiming to be Christian actually believe Jesus tells the truth all the time.
Jesus says those that go to hell will burn in fire that shall NOT be quenched into everlasting punishment
Mark 9:43-44 And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
Matthew 25:46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
2 Thessalonians 1:9
Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;
Texts like Jude 6, Matthew 8:12, Matthew 22:13, and Matthew 25:30, and 2 Thessalonians 1:9 show that darkness signifies a state of deprivation and distress, not of destruction in the sense of ceasing to exist. Only those who exist can weep and gnash their teeth, as those banished into the darkness are said to do. Luke 16:22–24 shows that fire signifies continued existence in pain as Revelation 14:10 with 19:20 and 20:10, and Matthew 13:42, 50, confirm this.
Jesus is Lord!
I believe in Jesus.
I believe that Jesus is the Christ.
I believe that Jesus sacrificed himself on the cross to save ALL people.
I believe in Jesus's commandments and strive to follow them, especially the commandment to love others.
I believe that Jesus was resurrected on the third day.
I believe that Jesus is the ONLY path to salvation.
I believe that Jesus sits on the right-hand side of our Heavenly Father.
In spite of all of these beliefs, I am told by TRUE, born again Christians here that, unless I have been "born again", that I am NOT a follower of Christ, aka a "Christian".
I do not know if I have been "born again" and even if I thought I was and in keeping with Jesus's call for humility, I would refrain from proclaiming such to others.
So as not to defile the "Christian" sub-forums with my non-Christian presence I have changed my self-identification on the forum controls from "Christian" to "other".
You're welcome.
@NotTheRock. Don't believe anything anyone tells you—that you are not born-again. The indication of being born again is the Holy Spirit dwelling within you and the fruit that bears from that, transforming our lives from out of the world into Christ Jesus our lord and savior xox
Those who tell you that are indeed snobs--snobs without understanding.Jesus is Lord!

Indeed, there are those who teach error, and those who believe them. Unfortunately.Being "born again" is something that happens to and for us; it's not something we can do to ourselves. Countless well-meaning preachers have asked people to be "born again" by accepting Jesus as their savior. Upon doing so, some then go out and proclaim that they have been "born again".
