Your explanation does not work. The seven heads are seven kings. The ten horns are ten kings.

Everything cannot be symbolic of kings. Obviously heads are horns would symbolize different things and Rev says exactly that. Horns are kings, heads are mountains where those ten kings live and reign as kings.

The function of heads is different from the function of horns. Your head houses your brain which controls your body. By analogy the word head is used to identify parts and persons in positions of prominence and control.

Likewise animals use horns to execute their wills and enforce their rights, so to speak, and by analogy that is the purpose depicted in metaphors and figures of speech that mention horns.

If a king does not have a crown they do not have the symbol of their sovereignty. Simple as.

The heads are lands where ten kingdoms will aid the beast to rule the world. The heads are not kings, or historic consecutive kingdoms. All 7 heads exist when the ten horns exist.

There are two things done by the ten kings in verses 16 and 17.

verse 16 - the ten kings destroy the woman.

verse 17 - the ten kings give their kingdom over to the beast. i.e the beast becomes the beast-king of their kingdom. i.e. becomes the dictator of the EU.

The ten kings in Revelation 13 have crowns. To signify that they will rule with the beast-king for 42 months. During which, the beast-king will be worshiped as god. So the ten kings are not rebelling against the beast's god-hood claim - when they destroy the woman, in verse 16, but against a religious establishment - the whore - called the Vatican - which is located in the city of seven mountains - Rome.

Not EU. You got the wrong place. It's the Church that the beast wants to rule, the camps of the Saints! The wicked professed Chrsitians effectively gave the church (kingdom) to the beast where he becomes their king of that kingdom! God's Elect can see how Satan is being revealed through false prophets and christs where they are bringing the church down with their abominations. It is a spiritual warfare wherein they will be judged by the fire of God from the mouths of the Two Witnesses. It is at the camp of the Saints that the witnesses will be killed and the ten kings ultimately devoured by the Word of God as a judgment. Chirst often speaks of Himself as the Church. For example, as He is the Holy Temple, and we are living stones of that temple. Or as we are the Israel of God, because Jesus Christ is the Israel of God. Your Roman Catholic church does NOT qualify in these prophecies!

Agreed! In this way, the false prophets and christs receive POWER as kings in exchange for giving the church to Beast to rule. They are ruling with him by spreading his false doctrine that replace Christ's where it ought not. This is now the image (likness) of the beast set up and speak.

Forget Vatican. Forget Rome. Forget RCC. They are not what God talked about. God is talking about HIS CHURCH - the home of Two Witnesses!

Because of rebellion and unfaithfulness of His Church (specifically the external part), God has agreed to allow them to give their kingdom to the beast until the Second Coming. They did not realize what they have done because they cannot discern the judgment just as they cannot "see" the abomination of desolation as the Elect can and flee. As it is written:

Rev 11:1-2
(1) And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.
(2) But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.

The temple, altar, and worshippers therein are the Eternal part of the Kingdom where Elect are. They are measured in correct with Christ. The court which is outside the temple are the external or corporate part of the kingdom where the professed Christians are. They are not corrected nor part of God's true Elect. Please note that they are the ones, not the Elect, who will be given to the Gentiles (wicked false prophets and christs led by Satan) to be deceived and it will last until Christ Returns at the end of 42 symbolic months.
