Hello duck lady. You keep us on our toes. I did little research. Nobody knows everything. Scripture medication. Meditating on on Scripture that relate to rest, healing and God's care can provide emotional support and encouragement. Sleep disorder is suffering. Another way of saying it. Spirit Apnea.
Ephesians chapter 5:18. Be filled tells us we are to be filled with the holy Spirit continuously. Spiritual discipline comes in. Repenting of sins to God. Praying. Studying sound doctrine. Im not judging anyone or criticizing anyone. Some sleep problems are spiritual problems. What might cause sleep problems ? Fear ? Psalms chapter 34. If the angel of the Lord is camping with you, there is no reason for nightmares or fear of the night.
Just be honest with Jesus when you pray. Johnah, prophet. He was sent to Nineveh. But he tried to go opposite direction and hide from God.
When moses ran away from Egypt. It was forty years later . God found Moses. Even when moses wasn't seeking God. Jesus is always looking for His lost sheep. John chapter 10. God does not go by the outward appearance of people. Jesus looks at our heart. Even if there is fear or guilt ? . We need to let it go, and trust God. We understand this. Im not judging anyone. Last night, a few hours before bed, I heard very clearly, "God is going to rescue you tonight."

I had no idea what that meant and to be honest I thought nothing had happened. I just realized it a few minutes ago, because I was about to start my tracker and listened to the sound clips. I would post the clip, but I'm not sure how to.

Sometime after 1:00 AM, my symptoms started and are recording and in the background my youngest yells from her room "(something I can't make out) to the rescue!!!"

Her yelling woke me up and got me back to normal for the night. Then there's a faint sound in the background of someone saying, "Go to sleep.)

I'm not sure if that was Mr. Duck or not. I don't remember. I think it was but he doesn't think so.

I have got to get to bed, but I'm not scared anymore. I had a good day and I'm doing well.

I also have to lay propped up because I have GERD.

Is it possible the GERD is culprit in your sleep problems ? Maybe so , found a couple of articles . I would do everything I could to get the GERD gone and the sleep problems could abate too . Praying for you .

Its possible it could be gerd. Gastroesphagal reflux disease. Or possibly breathing disorder. It wouldn't hurt to see doctor. Or mabey its possible its spiritual problems. Either way, see doctor, and pray to Jesus. Humbly, this is my best answer. Take care.

Yes. More than likely. Mr. Duck was encouraged me to take my medicine the last few days and I didn't catch anything on the tracker last night.

I just wake up every half hour now, but I have RLS also. I'll check out the links, thank you!

Side note: Probably worth noting I've lost weight, been eating healthier, tracking my water, working out daily on a 30 day plan, and taking my medicine on top of tracking my sleep.

So no worries I will get it done.

Interesting .... I was diagnosed with ulcers and hiatal hernia at age 14. Makes eating unpleasant when the stomach and esophagus are scrunched up into a small space.

Sleep Apnea is a rather simple problem that causes all sorts of confusion, worry, and difficulties in thinking through various problems or questions. Each type has its own various causes, complications and remedies.

Your husband is going to be a great help to you during this time. Take him with you to a doctor who specializes in this. (Internet medical advice is a sure way to get the exact wrong advice).

However,
Be very careful. There are many scams and scam artists offering to do Sleep studies. Do not engage these people. Go to one your doctor recommends. Some types can be cured by minor surgery similar to a tonsillectomy . Although the cost might make you think it was open heart or brain surgery....some places really charge outrageous sums for this stuff. But the Piper needs his paycheck.

But....
C-pap machines, minor surgery, medications and minor prosthetics (nasal strips) are the usual standards of care. What exactly you need is going to best be determined by a DOCTOR.

People who begin to have the Apnea properly addressed swear its a miracle and how well they feel afterwards....how their thinking has cleared and how much more sane they feel. And the tiredness goes away.

I found out from Mr. Duck that I have sleep apnea. (I had no idea and I don't remember anything he was telling me about.) This might be the reason I'm so exhausted.

Please pray we find a good way to deal with it, because now I'm a little anxious about it.

Did God create learning and those who specialize in organic chemistry?

UNFORTUNATELY, I snore in a not cute way.

That is not surprising. Snoring and obstructive sleep apnea are related and have the same mechanics. The Sweet Lady tells me the CPAP machine fixed my snoring problem too.
