This is the gospel by which we are saved.

1 Corinthians 15 contains Paul's gospel:

[1Co 15:1, 3-4 KJV] 1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; ... 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

We are all sinners who cannot save ourselves.

See Romans 3:23 Titus 3:5 Romans 5:6

[Rom 3:23 KJV] 23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

[Tit 3:5 KJV] 5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

[Rom 5:6 KJV] 6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

Christ died for our sins; He was our substitute; He paid the full penalty and debt for our sin by his blood sacrifice.

See 2 Corinthians 5:21 Romans 3:24 Romans 3:25 Romans 3:26

[2Co 5:21 KJV] 21 For he hath made him [to be] sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

[Rom 3:24-26 KJV] 24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: 25 Whom God hath set forth [to be] a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; 26 To declare, [I say], at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

He was buried.

He rose again for our justification (to declare us righteous) and forgiveness of all our sin. He gives us His righteousness and eternal life.

See Romans 4:25 Ephesians 1:7 Romans 4:22 Romans 4:23 Romans 4:24 1 Corinthians 1:30

[Rom 4:22-25 KJV] 22 And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness. 23 Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him; 24 But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead; 25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

[Eph 1:7 KJV] 7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

[1Co 1:30 KJV] 30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:

All we have to do is believe the gospel.

See Romans 4:5 1 Corinthians 1:21 Ephesians 1:13

[Rom 4:5 KJV] 5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

[1Co 1:21 KJV] 21 For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

[Eph 1:13 KJV] 13 In whom ye also [trusted], after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

Believing is being persuaded that something is true.

See Romans 4:20-22

[Rom 4:20-22 KJV] 20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; 21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform. 22 And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.

The moment you believe you have eternal life.

Titus 1:1 Titus 1:2 Titus 3:7

[Tit 1:1-2 KJV] 1 Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God's elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness; 2 In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;

[Tit 3:7 KJV] 7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

Trust the gospel of your salvation. Place your faith in Jesus Christ, in his blood, in his death and his resurrection.

Did Jesus preach blood sacrifice?....I've haven't found it. He never even sent those he healed to the Temple except to get a 'certification' of clearance from the priests for the lepers.

Jesus instructed the healed leper to “go, show yourself to the priest and offer for your cleansing what Moses commanded, as a testimony to them” (Mark 1:44, NASB). What Moses commanded is found in Leviticus 14:1-32; it required animal sacrifices to be offered.

This takes some explaining I will try to be succinct
There are dispensations in the Bible in which He gives particular commandments and gospels that are progressive and differ

[Mar 1:14-15 KJV] 14 Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, 15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

Jesus preached the gospel of the kingdom to Israel only. He only came to Israel to confirm their promises (Matthew 15:24 Romans 15:8)
The gospel he preached is in Mark 1:15 when it says "and saying" that is what is being preached as the gospel
The Davidic earthly kingdom is what he preached. Christ would set up his kingdom on earth (Isiah 9:7) Christ will reign over the nations (Isiah 2:2-2) David will be risen to reign over Israel with Christ (Ezekiel 37:24) Israel will dwell in the promised land (Exodus 32:13)
The believing remnant of Israel will reign with Christ on earth as kings and priests (Revelation 5:10 Exodus 19:6}

This gospel was given to Israel (Gentiles would come to believe it also as it was preached by the twelve apostles) to believe. They were also to believe on Jesus (John 3:16) for eternal life. Before the cross Israel was to believe only on his name, that he was Christ the Son of God (John 20:31) They had to repent and believe the gospel of the coming kingdom and be baptized to be cleansed to enter the kingdom (Matthew 3:6 Mark 16:16)

This is not our gospel which we are to believe to be saved. Paul received revelations from the risen Lord Jesus Christ (Ephesians 3:3) Paul received the gospel for this dispensation found in 1 Corinthians 15:1-2-4 This is the gospel we are to believe.

Paul is our apostle (1 Corinthians 1:1) It is Paul in all his epistles (Roman thru Philemon) that give us all of our doctrine and commandments

We can learn from the old and new testaments but not everything is for us to apply to ourselves to obey. What we are to believe and obey is found in the books Paul wrote. We are to follow Paul
[1Co 11:1 KJV] 1 Be ye followers of me, even as I also [am] of Christ.

Thank you for laying your position out for me. I found it easy to understand and follow.

My understanding is that Jesus and Paul (and all of the other apostles) preached the same gospel. First to the Jew, then to the gentile.

The gospel preached by Jesus is my gospel, is for me. He has the words of life (for all mankind.)

I would say to a newbie that Jesus is our apostle. He in turn raised up and sent apostles, all preaching the same gospel he preached - in an extension of his ministry to the entire world.

Understanding should be on scripture and if we follow someones teaching it should be based on what the Bible says to support it
I hope you looked up the verses i gave you to uphold what I say

Peter and Paul did not preach the same gospel....Paul preaches our gospel as being Christ died for our sins was buried and rose for our justification,,,,,,he preached the cross

[Luk 9:44-45 KJV] 44 Let these sayings sink down into your ears: for the Son of man shall be delivered into the hands of men. 45 But they understood not this saying, and it was hid from them, that they perceived it not: and they feared to ask him of that saying.

[Luk 18:31-32 KJV] 31 Then he took [unto him] the twelve, and said unto them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of man shall be accomplished. 32 For he shall be delivered unto the Gentiles, and shall be mocked, and spitefully entreated, and spitted on:

Peter and the twelve could not preach the same gospel seeing they did not understand his death and ressurection

Actually he did
[Mat 26:28 KJV] 28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

[Mat 10:5-7 KJV] 5 These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into [any] city of the Samaritans enter ye not: 6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. 7 And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.

That is not what Paul preached

I believe Acts 28:30-31 documents that he did preach it. This is exactly what Philip preached in Acts 8:12.

If I understand you correctly, you’re saying that Peter and the twelve lived and died without ever understanding his death and resurrection. Please let me know if I’ve misunderstood you.

My position is that Peter and all of the other apostles understood his death and resurrection - they spent forty days with him following his bodily resurrection and watched as he ascended into heaven - and preached it to everyone they came in contact with, Jew and gentile alike.

Jesus preached the gospel.

The "Gospel" is Paul's

Paul teaches it like this...>"We Preach Christ Crucified"...

So, if Jesus could preach and did preach "Christ Crucified" then why did He never once do it, His entire earthly ministry.

A.) Its because He could not "preach Christ Crucified" when He had not been Crucified Yet.

Result?

Jesus never preached Paul's Gospel, and Paul said that if you preach any other... then His.. you are this one.

Galatians 1:8

Jesus’ words - his teaching and preaching, his good news / gospel - are spirit and life. They are the new covenant, which was ratified by his blood.

Paul preached Christ from the law and prophets as well
The kingdom of God was taught by Paul but that does not mean he preached the gospel of the kingdom

[Col 1:13 KJV] 13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated [us] into the kingdom of his dear Son:

The Body of Christ is translated into the kingdom by believing Paul's gospel

[2Ti 4:18 KJV] 18 And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve [me] unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom [be] glory for ever and ever. Amen.

The kingdom of God is composed of heaven and earth

Jesus connected salvation with the reception of the seed / word / word of the kingdom that he spoke, in the parable of the sower.

Paul preached the gospel (good news) of the grace of God (Acts 20:24) which is preaching the kingdom (Acts 20:25).

Jesus preached the gospel (good news) of the grace of God when he preached the gospel of the kingdom.

I see no difference between “preaching the kingdom” and “preaching the gospel / good news of the kingdom of God.”

Jesus preached the gospel of God (Mark 1:14) which is the gospel of the kingdom of God (Mark 1:15).

Paul also preached the gospel of God (Romans 1:1). I see it as the same gospel, and Paul himself tells us in Galatians that there is only one gospel.

This is what I would teach a newbie.

no the twelve preached his death and resurrection after Christ rose in Acts 2
