Flying dreams !!

I have had many many flying dreams over a period of time. At first to fly I had to first run into a headwind and jump into the air and then I was fling like a glider, riding air currents and ridge lines for the thermal updrafts and sometimes it was hard to gain altitude. But I was flying. I was alone and then I had other dreams about flying, except now I didn't have to ride air currents I could jump into the air like Superman and then fly, always alone and not really ever gaining a lot of altitude just flying over cities and stuff.

Then in later dreams and the one I want interpreted the most, is Ok I can fly like Superman and Superman style, but then Jesus Himself showed up in my dream and said I'm going to teach you how to fly! Jesus wasn't wearing a robe. He wore like, white Beachcomber pants and a white pullover shirt also loosely fit. He grabbed hold my ankles and we both took of flying and while we were flying around He was talking to me and teaching me how to fly and we went to a lot higher altitudes than I had ever been at before! He taught me how to fly and how to land on someone's roof without waking them or disturbing the occupants of the house!

I had several almost identical dreams about Jesus teaching me but they were not a repeat but I continuation of my education! And at some point in this series of dreams I became no longer Superman style and did not need to jump into the air. I could take off straight up from a stand still, like Neo started doing in the Matrix. Sometimes we would stop for a break and just talk for a few and then fly some more and Jesus would steer by my ankles. (You can't make this stuff up!) And sometimes we'd go up above the earth to the edge of space. It was, to say the least, awesome dreams that made me wake up feeling good.

I'll stop there because for an interpretation, that's prolly quite enough for now, lol! Even though, there were more after that!

I've had two partial interpretations for these Jesus dreams, but I dunno how much stock to put in them so I wont say what they said, but just let you say your own interp.

Blessings in Christ Jesus. You dreams represents your walk with The Lord . I was told I can fly back then also. Jesus is so humble He needs no cape as if He needs attention drawn to Himself. Before Jesus, we all flew alone in futility of our minds. Your dream is showing you all things are possible when we are in Him and Him in us(One). We are the students and He is The Teacher. If only we would allow Him to teach us(to fly). And of course He would be dressed in White(Holiness). Blessings!

I believe that God is moving you into a greater measure of your prophetic gifts. This is a progression that started off in the natural but has progressed into the spiritual as you have allowed him to instruct and guide you along the way. A verse comes to mind that says: I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you. (Psalm 32:8). Glory!

Uhhhh, I dunno if I can do that. Some of these dreams were quite awhile back and are slipping away sort of. I dunno Brother, just do the best you can or else ask me questions if you need to.

This is what I sensed.
I agree with Angelina. He's showing you a progression of your prophetic gifts for sure.

Him directing you by the ankles makes me think of Ezekiel 47:1-12, another progression. The more you surrender to the Lord, the deeper (or higher!) He'll take you. How wonderful it is to land on someone's roof without waking them, but the next step would be to wake them to the beauty and wonder of what they're sleeping though.

We're called to go and make disciples. Beachcombers look for treasures in the sand.

Biblically, sand can be people.

Sand has also been described as God's thoughts, the messages He gives us in dreams.

Thank you for your response! Now that's what I call some information! I've only been getting bits and pieces here and there. Which are good, and meaningful, but stop fast! What you said makes a lot of sense to me because of 1000 different reasons, lol!

So I was in a mountainous area with a smallish group of people (12-15?) but before they started showing up more and more I was with someone else. I thik it was Jesus but I'm not sure and I suppose I was getting instructions from Him and I don't even remember what was said. But suddenly, He was gone and there were my class! I somehow knew that I was there to be their flying instructor!

I told them that I wanted them all to follow me and try to keep up, because I was going to try to lose them! And I took off flying real fast and while I was gaining altitude I kept zig-zagging and trying to lose them. Some kept up for awhile but eventually I was up at the edge of space above the earth and I stopped and was looking down at the class which was flying back and forth trying to find me. I let them search for awhile and watched them and then began flying down to meet them and I got everybody together and we was returning to base or whatever, wherever it was that we were....and I woke up.

I liked that dream. It was funny.

More questions! You said this was a funny dream. Why? What that an emotion you had in the dream or how you felt upon waking about the dream?

If it was upon waking, how did you feel in the dream? about being given a class to teach? about the students not keeping up? Do you know how the student felt about the lesson?

Both in the dream and after I woke up! In the dream I thought it was extremely funny that I was able to lose all of them. I wondered how long it would take them to look up and find me! So it was more about them not keeping up with me. I felt like good instructor.

The students was jovial on the way back and glad to see me!

I actually got an interpretation based on the title you gave, which is good. Really good, actually, because the bits weren't coming together in a good way. I'll wait and see what happens with a second title. Don't think too hard about it, it doesn't have to be super fancy or anything.

Excellent titles. Not corny at all.

There's a couple of phrases in play here. One is "It's funny..." as in unusual. One might think, "Funny, this only happens to me..." or onlookers recognizing the pattern, "Funny, this happens to him..."

Someone asked him one day about it and suggested he teach others because if he didn't his skills would die with him and be lost to the world. So that's what he did. Rather than interpret dreams he taught the skills and made the students learn to do it themselves.

I think you might be in a similar situation as JPJ, maybe not with dreams, but life-skills or whatever it is you do with such ease.
