If this is an iPhone, you can go to settings->camera->formats and change it to "most compatible".

I usually email the picture to myself and download it to my laptop. That process automatically changes the type to .jpg. I can also use photo editing software (Paint is free with Windows) to change the format to .jpg or .png.
Well, none of that worked but, I think I can save as but, only if it gives me the choice of Jpeg on the drop down, some do not. Not understanding when the Jpeg format changed, I didn't do it, lol!

From back door...hasn't stopped for a loooong time. It's so muffled and beautiful!
I think I have to change each individual one to JPEG.
@Nancy Absolutely love all of your Winter wonderland scenes!!! The red porch was a nice touch on the first photo!!!

When I used to oil paint, I did a lot of Autumn and Winter scenes. I did love looking out the back, upper window when we lived in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The snow covered hills would mist away in the distance...so pretty. And I lived in what was considered the city still.

I love any type of Winter scene...this is a painting. I use it for wallpaper on my tablet.

Hello @Debp,

Snow is something that is beautiful. It must be all the white, and how the background is completely changed from the green landscape. It reminds me of isolation, yet purity, seemingly the righteousness of the Lord Yeshua, and how he wraps us in his righteousness which he does work in and through us. Visiting my mother last night, she said her neck is kind of achy she must have had a hard day at work, she was on the couch watching "Polar Express." Cute little movie, she got the tree up and it's lit, and she also has some decorations outside the house. Christmas time is a beautiful time of the season it is one of the only holidays where light tends to shine in the darkness, aside from Halloween or July 4th, for the longest time of the year. Thank you for sharing.

Have you ever heard the song Somewhere it's Snowing? It's has meaningful words and is a beautiful song.

Your mom's decorations sound lovely. I love the lights.

Here's the song....the guy does a lovely version.

Deb, did you do that painting? (It looks like a Bill Medlin work, but I can't read the signature.)

Always nice to pick up some silver in pocket change , not very often now days .
When I was a kid I had a paper route and collected coins - we still had Buffalo nickels, Mercury dimes, Standing Liberty quarters (though they were heavily worn), Walking Liberty and Franklin half dollars, and Morgan and Peace silver dollars. I especially liked the Mercury dimes and Morgan dollars.1916 Dime Obv.JPG1916 Dime Rev.JPG1884-O Silver Dollar Obv.JPG1884-O Silver Dollar Rev.JPG

Have you ever or do you now live on a dirt road ? It is paved now .
View attachment 54073
Wow ! that road has been set over with a set type of surface over the top.
We lived on a dirt road back in 1973 to 76 but the main Highway was sealed 14ft wide and when a car came the other way, one would set one set of wheels off in the dirt as you passed. could have real rough edges tho, but it was good bitumen back in them days strong, not like the rubbish buitumen we have nowadays regardless what it is or done.

The old stuff had nice round stones in it and held together real tough, now it's just crushed rock that is used and a weak brew of butumen that is not as thick, it's more water like spray.
Our Oil out of the ground in Australia is a thin type rubbish, we once imported all Oil to about 1968 i think. but our Oil is good for making Diesel and petrol tho it's high in sulfer. but you can not make engine oil out of our Oil.

But they mix oil out of the ground all over the world from about 1972 or 75 i think it was, so to make what they truly want better or easyer for them to deal with etc.

One place that i lived at in 1978 had an old Highway that went past over the hill and back in 1973-4 say, they built a new Highway going over the hill that then went streight into Town like, as the other snaked it's way in to Town, I went to see that old road some years ago, it's still their good as gold ! but for some parts but it has a rock foundation chunks about around 3 to 6in like rocks that was set before sealing it.
You can see such on some outback roads nowadays and are now widened, but the center of the road is good but the widened edges are crap up and down like and floged out. such a 2 lane road like that now is say 22ft wide.

Not to mention bridges that we once two passed trucks over are nowadays blocked to become only give way so as to only let one, no over taking ! but such was the norm back in the day to pass with two no problem at all. but nowadays much more cars and trucks are on the road.

I seen two old one way bridges of late like we once did have. I should of mesured the width of such, it was down near Bega NSW near the sea.

No, I didn't do that painting.

However, when I used to oil paint, I did do realistic looking paintings.
Here is one I just took for you. It's one of my favorites.

Makes me glad I live where I live. This news Sunday. 68°f at the beach hiking barefooted in the ocean for several miles. though now it’s in the 50s. Sometimes we hit the 30s at night and climbs back up to 60s and 70s during the day.
