Why so much obsession with “the rich”? How much wealth they have and how they spend it is of no concern to me. Actually, many of the rich donate large amounts to charities, which I applaud. Strange, but it bothers some people that the rich might give away 50% of their annual income, but still have well-above average wealth for themselves.

My concern is more with those that want to take away our basic freedoms: equality (under the law), life, and liberty (including our freedom to worship as our faith moves us).

Jesus taught us to give without expectation of return, and to not just give to friends and family who can pay you back.

I've never met a rich Christian. I've run in their circles before. Power and money is their motivation. If your are rich and lack power, you run for or/and support a candidate of an office.

But I figure I am richer than 95% of those alive today.

Rich Secularists might only be interested in power, prestige, more wealth, sensuous pleasure, etc. but people of faith—Christians in particular—are not like that. They are thankful for all that God has given them and are generous givers. You might not recognize them because they are humble and do God’s work anonymously.

Yeah, me I am a penny pincher. I don't live with conspicuous consumption.
Some people do get real showy, I never was one to keep one upping others.
For example my newest car is a 2005 Ram dually diesel 4x4 truck with 4 doors and 8 foot bed, and I like it a lot.
It helps to do your own work, I am a good DIY person on everything I can. But I don't fault those who are not, they provide other people with jobs to do.

Rich people also employ lots of people and their families, some own very successful businesses.

Wealthy people ?

Well some are good and some, the ones who inherited it all say ? or were born with a silver spoon in their mouth as they say ?
I have found such can be as stupid as they come, for they live in another world, one could say, i know a lot of such people and they are leftys and greenies who are off their face ! so wealthy that reality just does not compute ! they even once lived on the Land or own land farming ! not that they work it. some may, but they are that well off that nothing is an issue for them ever truly. they have never had to truly deal with making a go of something ? but they have people like themselves freinds that are all of the same ilk !
It's all oh i have lived here for 4 years now and we are building a new bigger house, in a more flash hood ! just so they have something to talk about or boast with such nonsense. they are sick !

But then again i know some of the most wealthy people are down to earth as they come, they do not do anything just to boast at all and they do not dress up to make out who they are ? for they do not have to try and make others think they are somebody ? big difference betwen the two types.

Out at some do, i point out see that fat slob dressed as a bum, he is the most wealthy dude in the Town. and see that old hick who looks like he has just come off working the farm, he ownes how many houses and farm Land that i know of but who knows what else and them two dudes are down to earth good people that you can talk to openly regardless ! but the other type are a abomination to talk to because everything is false about them !

My mum came from a wealthy family and is as stuck up as they come, i have seen it all.
she has never had a clue about money and boast of such ! she just spends it ! could not give a rats, it's all about her. and just wants her servants to serve her. That's how she was brought up to be in fact ! her dad had arranged her marriage into the Blue Bloods for wealth keep it in the family. so that no other man could posibly afford to keep her in fact. Her dad openly said so to my dad, you will never be able to afford her !

So we can see a stuck up side to society in the wealthy that is abomination, because they are off with the pixies, reality does not count ! and we see much the same in the average snobery and then the lower class rat bags, altho even the lowest rug has people who are much better a person than such as the toffs in fact.

So i think their are two main types of people in general, ones who will always out use anyone and others who are above that wreched class of dingbats.
Their are right wing trash out and about as well, just greed driven numbskulls who are an abomination as well because they will use people, and it's all founded on abuse.

Just as they say about one being an educated idiot ! it's true ! well it's truly maybe that such is truly a Indoctrinated dolt.
