Do not try to present the same action of yours as righteousness and as sin. Do not ask forgiveness for what you did if you did it out of zeal for the Lord.

42 months of the beast is a conditional number. As conditional as the 42 children from Bethel, torn to pieces by she-bears according to the word of the prophet Elisha. As conditional as the 42 thousand Ephraimites, slaughtered while crossing the Jordan in the book of Judges.

An example of illegal mixing in modern Christianity. They suggest simply googling to find the word of God for your case. That is, to apply the word of God mechanically, not as an answer from the living God, but at the whim of your own soul. This is lawlessness, and such an approach to the word of God will not go unpunished: 42 months of the "beast", when all the pagans will pray for this world.

42 thousand Ephraimites (the image of Christians) went against the judge Jephthah, whose war brought victory to the Jews. Sibboleth/Shibboleth = Jesus/Yeshua. Christians who oppose the Jews will perish.

The beast from the sea has been around since ancient times, since the time of the Sumerians. The 42 months of the beast are a conditional period of judgment over this world, where the masses of pagans who have turned to God will remain the same pagans and will try to "lead God by the beard" where they themselves want: to Prosperity, to the creation of a perfect system for distributing goods in this world. They will be very surprised when it turns out that this system of theirs will turn against them so that the kingdom of the beast will seem gloomy to them and they will bite their tongues from suffering in their material paradise.

The beast from the sea itself from Revelation 13 is also a special case of Kil'ayim.

The prohibition vis-à-vis animals pertains to their cross-breeding, as well as to the prohibtion of ploughing a field with two different species of animals coupled together, such as with an ox and donkey that are hitched together by yoke.

In modern classification of animals, the genus Canis is used to include dogs, wolves, coyotes, and jackals. Even so, the mating of dogs and wolves is forbidden. The common "village dog" (Hebrew: הכלב הכופרי), said by some commentators to be the saluki dog, is considered a diverse kind with the fox. Similarly, the mating of a horse and mule (even though they cannot reproduce) is forbidden.

Though a Jew is forbidden to crossbreed a horse and a donkey (producing a hinny or mule), had a gentile bred them, it is permitted for a Jew to make use of them. - Wikipedia

It is easy to see that the beast from the sea is made up of separate parts of the four beasts of Daniel's vision. Daniel shows how the spirits of the four world religions fought for control of the great sea, that is, this world.

(1) The first was like a lion, and had eagle's wings: I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a man's heart was given to it. (Daniel 7:4)

"Like a lion" is Judaism:

Judah is a lion's whelp: from the prey, my son, thou art gone up: he stooped down, he couched as a lion, and as an old lion; who shall rouse him up? (Genesis 49:9)

The "wings" of revelations and prophecies were plucked from Judaism, then it will be raised from the carnal level of earthly religion and will receive the wise heart of the saints, whom it will receive from all nations after the building of the Third Temple, described in Ezekiel.

(2) And behold another beast, a second, like to a bear, and it raised up itself on one side, and it had three ribs in the mouth of it between the teeth of it: and they said thus unto it, Arise, devour much flesh. (Daniel 7:5)

This is Islam. "Much flesh" means a lot of carnal religious exercise, five times a day prayers. In the mouth of the beast of Islam are the first three commandments, about monotheism, which he bit out of the back of the fourth beast. Yes, now they no longer look like horns, but like bones, like ribs in one piece of flesh.

(3) After this I beheld, and lo another, like a leopard, which had upon the back of it four wings of a fowl; the beast had also four heads; and dominion was given to it. (Daniel 7:6)

This beast is the Eastern religions: Hinduism, Buddhism, Confucianism and Shintoism. Four heads and four wings - these religions can "fly" in spiritual spheres. Although there are four of them, they are often spoken of as one: Eastern religions.

(4) After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns.
I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.

This beast is the Christian religion. It is no longer the Church that was in the first centuries. It is the religion of Rome, which adapted the Gospel to its imperial needs. There is a hint in 2 Esdras 12:11 :

The eagle, whom thou sawest come up from the sea, is the kingdom which was seen in the vision of thy brother Daniel.

This eagle has three heads: Catholicism, Orthodoxy and Protestantism. The "second feather", which reigned longer than the others, is Caesar Augustus. At that time the eagle's "heads" were still asleep, indicating that the Roman religion had not yet awakened because of the Gospel.

And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together. (Luke 17:37)

The eagle was the symbol of the Roman Empire (Catholicism). The eagle was the symbol of Byzantium (Orthodoxy). The eagle is on the coat of arms of the USA (Protestantism). This is the corpse of the Body of Christ, the resurrection of the Body is Israel.

The 10 horns of this beast of religion are the 10 commandments. The Ten Commandments are a characteristic feature of the Christian religion, in Judaism there are 613 commandments. When the "little horn" stood at the head of Christianity - Caesar, then the king, now the president, the first 3 commandments disappeared, because instead of God they had a man. And this man, the false Jesus, abolished the biblical holidays and abolished the law. Instead of the biblical Passover on the 14th of Nisan at the full moon, a pagan holiday of the goddess of fornication and fertility Astarte, Easter, appeared. Instead of the Passover Lamb, vile unclean rabbits appeared. A fictitious holiday of Christmas appeared, December 25, the birthday of the Roman god of the sun - while the real Jesus Christ, according to the Bible, was born in the fall, on the 8th day of the 7th month of Tishrei.

But now, when the joint efforts of pagans wishing to build a kingdom of Prosperity have formed a common Civilization for all, with a common usurious banking system, with common communications - the differences between representatives of different religions have been erased, in this godless world everyone looks the same, drives the same cars, flies the same planes, uses the same bank cards. In essence, the majority of today's Christians, Muslims, Hindus, Jews and others have become indifferent to religion, they have merged in one common lawlessness.

Therefore, the beast from the sea, the beast of the current world system has the features of all four religious beasts from Daniel's vision. But the 10 horns of this beast are not the Ten Commandments that Christianity originally had. Now on the back of the beast of world civilization there are 10 horns - these are the anti-commandments, the commandments of Satan. Something like this:

1. mammon, property is your god
2. make yourself an image of prosperity, worship and serve it
3. conjure and sorcery, pronouncing the name of the Lord in vain, conjuring prosperity for yourself
4. have no rest day or night, engage in money-grubbing: business requires sacrifice
5. the pension fund will take care of the father and mother
6. kill in wars started for the sake of enrichment
7. commit adultery
8. steal, withhold part of your wage worker, engage in usury to get rich
9. lie to your rich masters so as not to become poor
10. desire everything and as much as possible, inflame lust through advertising

The harlot, drunk on the blood of the saints, sits astride this beast of civilization, and copulates with this beast, using the horns protruding from its back like phalluses.

And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration. (Revelation 17:6)

What was John so wondered about?

He was wondered that people living IN THE BEAST called themselves Christians.

Christianity, like Judaism, has lost its living connection with God, has ceased to be an instrument in His hand, the "moon" of nominal religion has become like blood - a soulful get-together, a club of interests. Soulful, without spirit.

The number 42, as you say, is 6 x 7. The number six is the number for mankind. The number seven is the number for perfection. The perfection comes when a person becomes "worse than the first" (Mat 12:43-45). This "man of sin" condition occurs when the spirit of anti-Christ indwells a unconverted believer (a babe) and makes them apostate.

Also, there are 42 months left of Daniel's Seventy weeks prophecy. This represents the time a believer spends between being given the Early and Latter Rains of the Spirit. There is a rule of Torah interpretation that says that in the Torah there is no subsequent and previous. If one verse says A and the next verse says B, it does not mean that event A occurs before event B.

In the case of the Revelation of John, everything is much more complicated: it describes events INSIDE a person, in another dimension. For God, there are no our times - past, present, future. God embraces everything at once, for Him it is all at once. John saw the Judgment through the eyes of God. Therefore, there may be a completely different order of events than we read in chapters.

Daniel's Seventy Weeks prophecy will only be completed after the last Elect person has been saved. Their salvation is the stated goal of the prophecy found in Dan 9:24.

The first 69 1/2 weeks were fulfilled when Christ was "cutoff" at the cross. Those 69 1/2 weeks of years were physically completed under the Old Covenant (which is a physical covenant). The last 3 1/2 years will be completed spiritually and individually within each Elect person as they are converted (Early & Latter Rains, followed by judgement). After the last Elect person is saved, Daniel's Seventy Weeks prophecy will be fulfilled.

The covenant which Christ confirmed is the covenant that Christ made with Abraham. The heirs to whom the promises were made are the Elect.

Christ confirmed the covenant at the beginning of the last 7 years of Daniel's prophecy when Christ was baptized by John the Baptist. This marked the starting point of His work of saving the Elect. Three and a half years later, Christ went to the cross and was cutoff. This caused the Old Covenant (the daily sacrifice and oblation) to end and the New Covenant to begin. Since the New Covenant is a spiritual covenant, the last 3 1/2 years will be spiritually fulfilled.

As for the Early and Latter Rains of the Spirit, both are necessary for a person to be converted/saved.

In this condition, they will fall prey to Satan and become apostate. No "babe" can avoid it happening to them.

Isa 28:9 Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts (the converted Elect). 10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little: 11 For with stammering lips and another language will he speak to this people. 12 But the word of the LORD was unto them (the babes who can only draw milk) precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken (apostasy of the church).

Isa 28:12 was fulfilled by the apostasy of the church which Paul mentions below:

Acts 20:29 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. 30 Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them. 31 Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.

Since all "babes" will become apostate, it is necessary for Christ to come a second time to His Elect to restore them. When He comes to them, He will pour out the Latter Rain of the Spirit (baptism of the Holy Spirit), followed by judgment (baptism of Fire).

Mat 3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Spirit, and with fire: 12 Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.

This is the conversion event when a babe becomes a little child and enters the Kingdom of Heaven.

Mat 18:3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

The Apostles received the Early Rain of the Spirit just before they accepted Jesus as the Christ and as their Lord. Without the Early Rain, they could not have made this confession.

1Cor 12:3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Spirit.

When Christ "came again" to the Apostles on the Day of Pentecost, Christ poured out the Latter Rain of the Spirit and converted them.

Paul received the Early Rain of the Spirit on the Damascus Road. This is when Paul accepted Christ as His Lord. Paul's blindness represented his spiritual blindness. The three days Paul spent in Damascus (unable to eat or drink of the New Covenant) represented Paul becoming "worse than the first" (a man of sin). When Ananias came to Paul, Paul received the Latter Rain of the Spirit which healed his spiritual blindness. This is when Paul was converted and was able to start receiving the spiritual nourishment of the truth (bread & New Wine).
