Modern Judaism as a religion is anti-Christ.

Yet it seems many believers are drawn towards supporting the building of the third temple as if it will hasten the coming of Jesus.

I am guessing that when it is built, believers will not only support it but there will be those who will convert to Judaism, failing to discern the true spirit behind it.

- Maybe in the future there will be a massive repentance among Jews but this has not yet happened. Meantime to support unredeemed Zionism is a big mistake. Not that in ethical terms, Israel is the worst player in the present conflict, but we are seeing a proud unrepentant people with plenty of human wisdom, and God given talent, refusing Jesus as King and trying to recreate a covenant that God terminated at the Cross.

Please understand that I have a deep love for Jewish people and the return to the land is part of God's plan, but resurrecting Judaism with the sacrificial system which was a shadow, and still refusing the light is spiritually evil, deceptive and dangerous.

The Late Arthur Katz used to say that given these circumstances the Jews may need to be expelled from the land before finding repentance, may be so, but maybe the two witnesses will bring them to their senses and repentance will come without that needing to take place?

I am musing and have no authority to say how things will pan out, but I think these matters need to be discussed as the implications of misplaced loyalties are very severe if we end up supporting a false religion unwittingly.

God brought them back to the land He gave them for a reason, and that is to bring in the time of the last days.
Many of them will be destroyed, but God will save some of them, they will repent due to His working inside of them.

Luke 21, here you go, Jerusalem was destroyed by the gentiles
And Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.
We are at the part right before the return of Christ

And when HE returns the world and the heavens will be destroyed by fire, they will pass away and God will create new heavens and earth where there is no more evil.
As Christ said at His returning, 33 Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.
And we read this also in 2 Peter 3

The Day of the Lord

10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be [d]burned up. 11 Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, 12 looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? 13 Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.

Luke 21

The Destruction of Jerusalem

20 “But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation is near. 21 Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those who are in the midst of her depart, and let not those who are in the country enter her. 22 For these are the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. 23 But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! For there will be great distress in the land and wrath upon this people. 24 And they will fall by the edge of the sword, and be led away captive into all nations. And Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.

The Coming of the Son of Man

25 “And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; 26 men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 27 Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.”

The Parable of the Fig Tree

29 Then He spoke to them a parable: “Look at the fig tree, and all the trees. 30 When they are already budding, you see and know for yourselves that summer is now near. 31 So you also, when you see these things happening, know that the kingdom of God is near. 32 Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all things take place.

33 Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.

Romans 11, and hardening the jews in part. (in part because some jews believed in Christ)
After God has saved all He will from the nations, then God will change the heart of Israel and save some of them.

25 For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own [f]opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. 26 And so all Israel will be [g]saved, as it is written:

“The Deliverer will come out of Zion,
And He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob;
27 For this is My covenant with them,
When I take away their sins.”

And we read in the OC prophecies of this time also.
We have yet to see this fulfilled, it will happen at the end of the Last Days, When the Romans destroyed Jerusalem, God did not save the city, but He will at the end of this world.

Zechariah 12

The Coming Deliverance of Judah

The [a]burden of the word of the Lord against Israel. Thus says the Lord, who stretches out the heavens, lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him: 2 “Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of [b]drunkenness to all the surrounding peoples, when they lay siege against Judah and Jerusalem. 3 And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it. 4 In that day,” says the Lord, “I will strike every horse with confusion, and its rider with madness; I will open My eyes on the house of Judah, and will strike every horse of the peoples with blindness. 5 And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, ‘The inhabitants of Jerusalem are my strength in the Lord of hosts, their God.’ 6 In that day I will make the governors of Judah like a firepan in the woodpile, and like a fiery torch in the sheaves; they shall devour all the surrounding peoples on the right hand and on the left, but Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place—Jerusalem.

7 “The Lord will save the tents of Judah first, so that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem shall not become greater than that of Judah. 8 In that day the Lord will defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; the one who is feeble among them in that day shall be like David, and the house of David shall be like God, like the Angel of the Lord before them. 9 It shall be in that day that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.

Mourning for the Pierced One

10 “And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn. 11 In that day there shall be a great mourning in Jerusalem, like the mourning at Hadad Rimmon in the plain of [c]Megiddo. 12 And the land shall mourn, every family by itself: the family of the house of David by itself, and their wives by themselves; the family of the house of Nathan by itself, and their wives by themselves; 13 the family of the house of Levi by itself, and their wives by themselves; the family of Shimei by itself, and their wives by themselves; 14 all the families that remain, every family by itself, and their wives by themselves.

My observation is that people do not have an understanding of God's timeline at all.

God foretold that the visitation of the iniquities of the fathers during the first and second ages of Israel's existence from the time of the birth of Isaac for indulging in idolatrous worship on the mountain tops of Israel will be visited upon their children during the third age of the existence of Israel and then upon the children's children during the fourth age of the existence of Israel. It is after the end of the fourth age of the existence of Isael, i.e. after the sixth age of mankind since the creation of Adam that God will once again turn his ear to listen for Israel to repent of their idolatrous worship and the idolatrous worship of their forefathers during the previous four ages.

Paul understood that when the completion of the 2,300 years of the gentiles trampling God's sanctuary and His earthly hosts, that God will begin drawing Israel to Himself where they are living scattered throughout the whole earth and will plant them in His fertile soil and will teach them on the true religion of Israel.

Romans 11, and hardening the jews in part. (in part because some jews believed in Christ)
After God has saved all He will from the nations, then God will change the heart of Israel and save some of them.

25 For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. 26 And so all Israel will be saved,

The present translations do not provide the correct context of what the Bolded portion of the quote above. I believe that the right paraphrasing of the above bolded test should read like this: -

Until the fullness with respect to the allocated time of the Gentiles trampling God's sanctuary and His earthly host is completed, then after that, all of Israel will be saved.
This presents a very different picture of what is unfolding at the moment. God intends to plant Israel in His fertile fields/soil scattered throughout the whole earth when He begins to gather them to Himself.

What we are seeing being played out in the Land of Canaan is the final 20 or so years of the Gentiles, influenced by the Little Horn of the fulfilment of the Daniel 8 prophecy of what the Little Horn will do over the allocated 2,300 years.

We know that from Israel 24:21-22, that the fallen heavenly hosts will be judged along with the kings of the earth, which is the described judgement that will occur at the place called Armageddon for the Kings of the earth.

We also know that the judgement of the kings of the earth will occur at the very end of the sixth age and that at the beginning of the seventh age, the beasts, the Little Horn and Satan along with the judged kings of the earth will be gathered together and imprisoned for many years to await the time of their punishment.

I agree that any attempt to rebuild the destroyed temple will trigger the gathering of the kings of the earth at Armageddon in their attempt to put a stop the completion of the temple being rebuilt. However, my view is that these two events will only occur in around 20 years' time from now.

Unless we have a firm basis of how God's prophetic words will unfold, then we have the wind in our face that carries the dust of confusion that is enveloping us at present.

Shalom

I am musing and have no authority to say how things will pan out, but I think these matters need to be discussed as the implications of misplaced loyalties are very severe if we end up supporting a false religion unwittingly.

Readers be warned.

Unfortunately supporting Israel has been the teaching of many Christian leaders and churches. What should have been taught instead, is honor for Israel's part leading up to the coming of Christ, and also forgiveness, for Christ also forgave them even while hanging on the cross.

Israel since Christ was only a continued bloodline--not a future yet to be fulfilled: Christ, in His own words, came for "the house of Israel" and "it is finished." The error of considering the bloodline to be more than a national heritage, is that flesh and blood are no longer the heritage of God and Christ. For at that time of Christ, the kingdom of God whom is spirit, had come upon them--just as He said. Jesus then explained the future heritage as being of those born again of the spirit of God--literally a new heritage of a new creation.

As for the modern state of Israel, it is a complex mess to explain. Things are not what they seem, and there have been and are forces at work--which are not even of the bloodline. The revelation of these things, is what will turn those of the Israeli bloodline to Christ. Soon.

When the paradigm is faulty, every construct flowing from that paradigm is faulty also.

Modern Judaism.....is just as "anti-Christ" as the Jews who put Jesus on Trial, and then said..>>"Crucify Him", and then said to Jesus..."if you are the Messiah, save yourself.. come on down from those nails"..

See those deeds and that attitude.....

That is the "Spirit of Anti-Christ"... at work in human hearts.

2+ Billion Muslims have it.

Atheists have it.

Scientologists have it.

Most Scientists have it.

Others....

Americans and others in the world, who support Israel, are not supporting the very small minority of Hyper Religious Jews, you are referring to..
So, to support Israel, and the JEWs....... is not the same as supporting Crazy Hyper Religious Jews.

I believe a 3rd temple will be built "Abomination", and the present false teachings of a "Millennial Kingdom" on this earth where Jesus takes a literal throne in Jerusalem is setting the world up to receive a future "Walk On Christ" AKA Paul's (Man Of Sin) John's (The Beast) who will rule on earth for 3.5 years before the second coming of Jesus (The End)

I believe Isaiah 66:1-4 is a clear explanation of the future 3rd temple with renewed animal sacrifice in abomination to the cross of Calvary

You will closely note the word "Delusion" its used 2 times in the KJV and both refer to a temple in context

Isaiah 66:1-4KJV
1 Thus saith the Lord, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?
2 For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the Lord: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.
3 He that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, as if he cut off a dog's neck; he that offereth an oblation, as if he offered swine's blood; he that burneth incense, as if he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations.
4 I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.

2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 & 11KJV
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

Israel is Home to stay, in the Land of the Bible! All the identity thieves in the world will soon learn.

Amos 9:14-15
14 I will bring back the captives of My people Israel; They shall build the waste cities and inhabit them; They shall plant vineyards and drink wine from them; They shall also make gardens and eat fruit from them.
15 I will plant them in their land, And no longer shall they be pulled up From the land I have given them," Says the LORD your God.

but maybe the two witnesses will bring them to their senses and repentance will come without that needing to take place?
The (Two Witnesses) will be literal prophets returned, that bring literal plagues upon this literal earth, they have physical bodies that die, that lay in a literal street, as a literal world watches in celebration of their deaths

You will closely note below, the two olive branches and golden pipes represent that seen in Revelation 5:8 & 15:5-8 below, the 7 golden (vials/pipes) in last plagues will be emptied upon the world through the (Two Witnesses) who have all power over the literal plagues seen in the Revelation

You will closely note these two anointed ones empty the golden oil out of "Themselves"

The "Golden Oil" represents the "Golden Vials" full of the seven last plagues

Zechariah 4:11-14KJV
11 Then answered I, and said unto him, What are these two olive trees upon the right side of the candlestick and upon the left side thereof?
12 And I answered again, and said unto him, What be these two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves?
13 And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord.
14 Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.

Revelation 5:8KJV
8 And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.

Revelation 15:5-8KJV
5 And after that I looked, and, behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened:
6 And the seven angels came out of the temple, having the seven plagues, clothed in pure and white linen, and having their breasts girded with golden girdles.
7 And one of the four beasts gave unto the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who liveth for ever and ever.
8 And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.

You will closely note that the (Two Witnesses) stand before God of the earth in verse 4 below, also seen in Zechariah 4:14 above

You will closely note that the (Two Witnesses) have literal power over the literal plagues upon the world, they have physical bodies that die, and lay in a literal street, as a literal world watches in celebration

Revelation 11:3-12KJV
3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.
5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.
6 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.
7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.
8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.
9 And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.
10 And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.
11 And after three days and an half the spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.
12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.

Nor does it matter what anyone thinks about this, these things will happen.

To forget that Israel is God's chosen nation is a major mistake. To think God is finished with Israel is likewise a major mistake.

Much love!

Jews tried to rebuild in around 300 ad under Julian the Apostate., but God would not let them. This is Sozomen's account from his book The Ecclesiastical History (Book V) He was a historian during the rule of Julian the Apostate.

This is an excerpt from book 5

When they had removed the ruins of the former building, they dug up the ground and cleared away its foundation; it is said that on the following day when they were about to lay the first foundation, a great earthquake occurred, and by the violent agitation of the earth, stones were thrown up from the depths, by which those of the Jews who were engaged in the work were wounded, as likewise those who were merely looking on. The houses and public porticos, near the site of the temple, in which they had diverted themselves, were suddenly thrown down; many were caught thereby, some perished immediately, others were found half dead and mutilated of hands or legs, others were injured in other parts of the body. When God caused the earthquake to cease, the workmen who survived again returned to their task, partly because such was the edict of the emperor, and partly because they were themselves interested in the undertaking. Men often, in endeavoring to gratify their own passions, seek what is injurious to them, reject what would be truly advantageous, and are deluded by the idea that nothing is really useful except what is agreeable to them. When once led astray by this error, they are no longer able to act in a manner conducive to their own interests, or to take warning by the calamities which are visited upon them.

The Jews, I believe, were just in this state; for, instead of regarding this unexpected earthquake as a manifest indication that God was opposed to the re-erection of their temple, they proceeded to recommence the work. But all parties relate, that they had scarcely returned to the undertaking, when fire burst suddenly from the foundations of the temple and consumed several of the workmen.

This fact is fearlessly stated and believed by all; the only discrepancy in the narrative is that some maintain that flame burst from the interior of the temple, as the workmen were striving to force an entrance, while others say that the fire proceeded directly from the earth. In whichever way the phenomenon might have occurred, it is equally wonderful. A more tangible and still more extraordinary prodigy ensued; suddenly the sign of the cross appeared spontaneously on the garments of the persons engaged in the undertaking. These crosses were disposed like stars, and appeared the work of art. Many were hence led to confess that Christ is God, and that the rebuilding of the temple was not pleasing to Him; others presented themselves in the church, were initiated, and besought Christ, with hymns and supplications, to pardon their transgression. If any one does not feel disposed to believe my narrative, let him go and be convinced by those who heard the facts I have related from the eyewitnesses of them, for they are still alive. Let him inquire, also, of the Jews and pagans who left the work in an incomplete state, or who, to speak more accurately, were able to commence it.

Nor does it matter what anyone thinks about this, these things will happen.

To forget that Israel is God's chosen nation is a major mistake. To think God is finished with Israel is likewise a major mistake.

Much love!
Israel is Home to stay in the Land of the Bible!
