Revelation 2:8 And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive;
9 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.
10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
Revelation 20:1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
Revelation 20:7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
The reason I included Revelation 20:7 is because it shows that while the devil is in the pit it equals this--his prison
Revelation 2:10 says this of the devil---the devil shall cast some of you into prison
Regardless, what that might look like is not the point. The point is this. When Revelation 2:10 is meaning, it can not be meaning when Revelation 20:1-3 is meaning. IOW, Revelation 2:10 can not be meaning during the thousand years since it is a contradiction if the devil is in prison himself at the time, that he would be casting others into another prison, lol.
Only per Amil is something funny like that possible, I guess. Per Premil it is not possible. Per Premil Revelation 2:10 would not be meaning during the thousand years to begin with, it would be meaning before the thousand years.
There is a way, I guess, that Revelation 2:10 could still work with Amil without painting a nonsensical picture, that while satan is in prison himself, he is casting others into another prison. The way it could still work with Amil, Revelation 2:10 is meaning after the thousand years during satan's little season. Now Revelation 2:10 and Revelation 20:1-3 are not contradicting each other. But this only counts is if Amil is correct that the thousand years precede the 2nd coming.
