I said those who were Christians in name only, don't know Christ. That is not a license to sin. Yet they do. And they end up weeping and gnashing teeth... until they die the second death.

Yes, Jesus says he didn't know them.....but Jesus knows all people! The fact is, they didn't know him. They thought he was a God whose justice equates to violence. What they refuse to see is he is the one whose justice equates to giving his life. In other words, absorbing the violence of men till it killed him, not dishing it out.
A woman is dating a man. The man tells her that he loves her. That he would even die to save her. All she had to do is love him back and he will save her. But if she does not love him then he will hand her over to someone who will torturer her forever and ever. She won’t ever die. Just be tortured for billions and billions of years.
A second woman is dating a second man. He also tells her that he loves her and would be willing to die for her. All she has to do is love him back, or he will simply kill her. He won’t torture her forever but he will kill her.
A third woman is dating a third man. He also tells her that he loves her. That he would even be willing to die for her. That no matter what, he will be there for her. Even if she does not love him back, or even if she messes up, he will still love her and when the time comes, he will still protector her.
Which man do you think loves the woman? Which man has unconditional love , because actions prove love, not words. Which woman do you think is more likely to choose to love her man, instead of obeying out of fear?
If universalism is a licenses to kill then the other two just portrays a “do what I say or else” abusive relationship.
Believe, I believe you when you say you are not a liberal Christian. Most here don’t seem to be. Christianity has a long history of Christians trying to take away personal choices from others. Christianity has a history of demanding others to live the way they think is best instead of letting other consenting adults live their life with other consenting adults. Christianity has a history of greed and catering to the wealthy. Christianity has a history of turning a blind eye to the marginalized in this world and not caring if they suffer. After all they should have made better choices. Christianity has a history of not caring about environment and calling experts like scientists fools.
Christianity is all good…..the issue is about power and ignorant people forming denominations.
I think you may be frustrated with all the man-made sins. You probably do not actually sin much, you just ignore the man-made sins…..And because you do that, you consider yourself a liberal.
I’m pretty sure I consider myself liberal because i support heading to scientists about viruses, the environment and climate change in addition to being against Christian nationalism and theocracy and instead allowing consenting adults to choose the life they want. Additionally I believe in taxing the richer more, or either increasing the wages to match the cost of living while capping the profit. I support us working with Mexico and Canada to create a safer open border with them. I’m very much against the majority of things that conservatives push.

Medical science during the Covid-19 killed 10s of thousands because of their faulty advise.
Masks have no effect on Covid and as whole Covid is not air born, wearing surgical blue gloves would have saved thousands.
My son and daughter are in the medical field and what they tell me and all the ranking considered, US ranks at the bottom of modern countries….The US ranks 69th behind countries like Singapore, Taiwan, South Korea, China, Cuba, and Thailand etc.
I have happened to be in a few hospitals lately and I can tell that going to the doctor can be the most dangerous thing you can do. I am not saying not to believe in the science of the medical community. I am saying know your doctor and local hospital well.
And warning the medical community has been infected by an “Ism” Ism is a historical term….at times society or groups adopt an idea that is stupid and harmful….ie witch-hunt and inquisitions the war on intellectuals during the Renaissance, quietism, McCarthy ism, Peace free love and pot…etc Right now the medical community has adopted and ism on pain medications. If you get ill and are in pain….no pain killers, they would rather see you kill yourself rather than give you pain killers…..Know your doctor.
Problems with environment and climate change.....has nothing to do with people....It is normal for the climate on earth to go from tropical to ice age. Normal for the sea to raise and fall.

well this is where being uninformed versus informed comes into play. So we do know that climate change is something that naturally happens on earth and has for billions of years. That is correct. However, what we also know is that humanity as a whole does in fact affect not only the environment but also the climate.
So you should obviously know how we affect the environment. The environment is the health of the earth. We have a texas size floating mass of plastic garbage out in the ocean. A few of them. These giant masses has led to microplastics in the ocean found in almost every single marine species and in almost every terrestrial species that feeds on them. We have created subdivisions and cities and roads that cut through wild spaces fragmenting them into smaller and smaller areas. This throws off natural fire ecology, this forces species into small spaces where diseases and parasites spread at faster rates. We have introduced fungi to non native spaces such as the chestnut blight to American chestnuts making them functionally extinct and have now introduced pathogens working through oaks causing sudden oak death. We have drove several species into extinction, messed up salmon breeding and other fish with dams and so on lists of thousands can go here even down to the negative effects of light pollution on fireflies.

Now you’ve also mentioned some other things that are incorrect and connected dots that don’t align with reality. Medical doctors at hospitals were not the primary developers of how to protect ourselves from Covid. That was virologist and other scientists who specialize in pathogens.

Very few people disagree with what i posted globally. The main ones to disagree are conservative Christians who have a young earth concept of the world and are biblical literalist.

A thousand years of human contamination can be dwarfed by one volcano.
Forest fires that would naturally sweep a continent and kill countless wildlife and habitats are put out by humans.
Temperatures are warming because we are still coming out of the last Ice Age.
Actually my opinions are not formed by conspiracy theories. Conspiracies are beliefs that are developed by the minority hedging on no evidence. The things I mentioned are based off of the majority and fueled by evidence. So it’s accepting the science when I heed the demonstrated evidence of the overwhelming majority of scientists…. While a conspiracy theorist rejects the scientific consensus of the experts and dismiss their logic and evidence in favor of the beliefs unproven by a fringe group. That makes you the conspiracy theorist my friend.

Let’s also be honest. Do you know anything about fire ecology because I went to college and for over four years part of what i studied was fire ecology focused on the angiosperms within pine savannas which are grasslands based off of the plant communities and additionally I trained in at AFBGF.
