Love the graphic. You would never do that, right? Actually tear pages out of your Bible. ???
But how many of us do it in our minds by claiming someone else's view is "UNBIBLICAL"!
Might as well have torn that one out of your Bible.

I am not going to ask you. Because i agree it would leave you open. But except for Luther wishing james was not in the word. I have never heard anyone say such a thing.. I applaud your honesty!I could actually answer this one honestly, because there ARE verses in the Bible that I wish weren't there. But I won't, because I learned long ago that an open internet forum is not a safe place to leave yourself vulnerable.
But this is a good question for honest introspection and self-reflection.
The real issue seems to be the my way or the highway attitude about the Bible and Christian beliefs.I could actually answer this one honestly, because there ARE verses in the Bible that I wish weren't there. Ha! I'd forgotten about Luther and James.Because i agree it would leave you open. But except for Luther wishing james was not in the word. I have never heard anyone say such a thing..
Here; this will help:All the Damnationism verses are still in my Bible.
Where I live... you could get arrested for that. - LOLI've heard many preachers who were open and honest and not afraid of exposing themselves publicly.
I remember a time when I hated James 2 and Acts 2 concerning faith and baptism..Ha! I'd forgotten about Luther and James.
I've heard many preachers who were open and honest and not afraid of exposing themselves publicly. I respect them all the more for taking that risk.
There's a good game - what can we do with the words from the Damnationist verses? You could rearrange what you removed for a verse of the day on your refrigerator.
It would still be "God's Word", right? It's "BIBLICAL". - LOL

Thomas Jefferson did.You would never do that, right? Actually tear pages out of your Bible. ???

That's good, thanks.
Well, I don't actually want to remove anything, but there are a number of books that I'd like to put an asterisk on that says *NOT AN INSPIRED BOOK:You would never do that, right? Actually tear pages out of your Bible. ???

Really? Why?Well, I don't actually want to remove anything, but there are a number of books that I'd like to put an asterisk on that says *NOT AN INSPIRED BOOK:
Leviticus
Numbers
Joshua
Judges
1&2Kings
1&2Chronicles
Esther
Proverbs
Ecclesiastes
Basically, these should be part of the Deuterocanon rather than the Canon proper.
The short answer is - they weren't written by prophets, so we shouldn't expect them to be inspired.Really? Why?
