No, your speaking of dream sleep....The Body goes to the Grave for it is dead..The Soul which is eternal resides in one of two places...as I said. Look to Luke 16:19-31. The Rich man and Lazarus.. No, it is not a parable but is a story that Jesus tells all who will listen..Are you one of them.....We can learn a lot about this story..How about it. would you like to hear about it. Read it first and we can talk about it....May God Bless.
I’d like to hear how you think this parable is literal…..taking into account what Jews believed about death and Sheol/hades….(Eccl 9:5, 10; Eccl 3:19-20; Psalm 115:17)

And what Jesus taught “Gehenna” to be….? (Matt 23:33)
I have read it many times and would love to discuss it…..

Let's use an average Muslim woman from Indonesia as an example. She was raised to believe Islam and that all other belief systems are lies. She leads an unremarkable life and doesn't engage in criminal activities and is a loving daughter, wife, and mother. When she dies, will she go to Hell?
Many people here are going to not agree with me, but I don’t care because they don’t know what you’re talking about

Many Christians think they’re going to get raptured which is a complete lie by the churches
They will get raptured all right, but it won’t be Jesus. It will be Satan.
Remember, Satan/Antichrist/False Prophet comes first most churches don’t even teach that

So the answer to your question is most people don’t even know what the millennium is

God loves all his children, and he knows they have not been taught or even been introduced to Jesus

That’s where the millennium comes in that will be 1000 years of teaching with Jesus present

This is not a second chance because they never had a chance from the beginning

After the millennium and the teaching of the Elect as priest a Muslim lady or the christian or whoever still refuses Jesus, then they will be blotted out

What would heaven be like if we were sitting there watching our family burning in hell?

It wouldn’t be heaven

There is a danger in quoting verses out of context…..John 3 is a good example.

Lets look at the context and see what Jesus was saying here, and to whom he said it.
This is Jesus receiving a clandestine visit from one of the Pharisees who sought a private audience with Jesus. He came under cover of darkness so that he would not be seen by his fellow Jews, especially their leaders. Jesus had just told Nicodemus about being “born again” and the man was confused by this term.

Jesus explained….
John 3:12-21….
”If I tell you the earthly side and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you the heavenly side? 13 And nobody has gone up to heaven but he who came down out of heaven, the Son of Man. 14 And as Moses raised the snake aloft in the desert, so the Son of Man must be raised aloft, 15 that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only son that everyone who believes in him might not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world but in order to have the world saved through him. 18 He who believes in him is not judged; he who does not believe is already judged because he has not believed in the name of God’s only son. 19 And this is the judgment, that the light has come into the world and men loved the darkness rather than the light; for their doings were bad. 20 For anyone who is misbehaving hates the light and does not come to the light, that his doings may not be exposed; 21 but he who is doing as truth would have him comes to the light that his doings may be disclosed, because they are work done in God.”

Can we unpack this a bit? I know you love God and have faith in Jesus as the Christ, but here was a teacher among the Jewish Pharisees, (Nicodemus) who was asking some serious questions.

Jesus was speaking spiritually, but Nicodemus was comprehending only physically.
Jesus’ words needed to be interpreted spiritually. Being “born again“ was something his disciples had yet to understand. It wasn’t something that happened to them whilst they were still in the flesh, but something that would take place at their resurrection. They were given a “token” of their choosing to be one of Christ’s elect, (Eph 1:13-14) but that just gave them a strong desire to be where their Lord promised to take them….to heaven. No one can go to heaven in a physical body, so they must be transformed by being “born again” in a spirit body, in order to be in the presence of God in a spiritual realm. (1 Cor 15:50-54) Humans cannot exist outside of Earth’s atmosphere. We are confined to an enormous space ship with all life support systems fully operative. There was never any reason to leave what was created to be our eternal home.

Christ’s elect are a small body who were chosen by God to rule with his son in the coming Kingdom, (Matt 6:9) and also to take on the role of priests as Jesus said in his Revelation to John. (Rev 20:6)

Rulers need subjects, and priests need sinners for whom to perform their priestly duties…..these subjects are not in heaven, because there are no sinners in heaven and kings do not rule over each other.

God never created humans to live in heaven….he already had a large family of spirit sons who serve him there. But the way was opened for Christ’s elect to follow him once he had paid the ransom for the human race with the sacrifice of his own sinless life. Their resurrection takes place “first” and only when Christ returns to take them “home”. (1 Thess 4:13-17)

Jesus spoke of “Gehenna” which is not a fiery HELL of eternal torment, because the dead are not alive to suffer anything. (Eccl 9:5, 10)

There is no immortal soul that leaves the body to go to heaven (unless they are chosen by God as one of his elect) or to a hell of torture. None of the laws that God gave his people involved torture. There were capital crimes which incurred death, but none that included torture for the sake of it.
It is outside of God’s loving personality to to inflict pain unless it is to bring one to repentance….and only the unrepentant sinner was punished. God is foremost a “forgiver”…… NOT a “punisher”. Those deserving of death are judged so by Jesus, and sentence is carried out swiftly. Death ends life….period.

It is the incorrigibly wicked who will go to “Gehenna”….a place of eternal death. Nothing alive is in Gehenna. It is for the disposal of worthless things including “death and hades” or the grave. (Rev 20:13-14)

Gehenna is called the lake of fire…..but it is also called “the second death”…..a death that is permanent. No one returns from that place, which is also reserved for the devil and his minions. Anything cast into the lake of fire is “destroyed” never to be seen again. What purpose would everlasting torture serve?

I see such zeal in your posts but I also see a lot of misinterpretation of Scripture. The vindictive and cruel God you worship does not exist. Resurrection is God’s way of giving all those who lived and died without opportunity to get to know “the only true God and the one he sent”, (John 17:3) a second chance. Those who died in ignorance will not be held accountable. Only those alive at his return, who show no respect for him, his teachings or the laws of his Father, will perish at Armageddon….the final showdown between the King and his enemies. We already know who the winner is.

A thousand years will be spent under Christ’s rulership, bringing the entire redeemed human race back into reconciliation with their Creator….so that all can return to his original purpose for us here on an earth so lovingly prepared for us.…otherwise, why are we here Amigo?
God is not the cruel one . He has given man the way out .
And its high time we preach the name of THIS ONE to all that has breath .
Rather than trying to tone down or even omit the severity of GOD , i say lets preach JESUS the CHRIST
to them . The problem with many is that they feel one has to remove the severity side of GOD
and preach another kind of love in order to win folks . That wont win folks , NOT TO CHRIST it wont .
For years the denominations of churches have been programmed into another way of evanglising .
That way focused on removing the severity of GOD . IT focused on perhaps some good works and doing some good
but it also removed the actual preaching of the dire need to BELIEVE ON JESUS the CHRIST .
The reason most do not see this is they wont spend the time in prayer and in reading the scriptures for themselves .
At most they read it through the lens of what man taught them and what man taught them was twisted .
More and more as time has went on this has led to even the acceptance of certain sins and as of late
even leading them right into the very lie itself . The lie that says no religoins truth is better than anothers .
And all the while they keep leading this people they lure them constantly by using the word love and etc .
They actually changed the true pattern of evanglism . They use only partial truths taken out of text now .
For example look at what paul wrote concerning evanglism
Warning men
Therefore knowing THE TERROR of GOD we persaude men . When they started omitting the severity of GOD
they lost also the true version of HIS GOODNESS too . NOW to many the verision of the goodness of GOD
and of HIS LOVE , sure dont lead anyone to CHRIST . rather it leads them to another jesus
and an idea now that doctrine is not what matters , lets just love and find common ground .
ONLY their version of said love SURE Dont rejoice in truth , its rejoices in lies and in inquity .
When folks try and alter anything about GOD you can bet they going all go down hill as they head
right into another image of what they see as GOD and that image leads them only farther and farther into darkness
and away from THE VERY ONE WHO COULD have saved them .

Many have been lulled into a false version of the goodness of GOD as the severity of HIM was replaced .
Wherein shall we liken this , or with what shall we compare it .
It is like a man that went on a journey to find the promised land .
He stepped into a church and asked where he can find this promised land .
So the leader of that church said FOLLOW ME and let me show you the land you seek my friend .
SO he took the man to a far and beautiful island . And he showed him all the green fruit bearing trees
and how beautiful it was . And man was this paradise beautiful to this man .
SO he says to the leader , you have convinced me of this good land and i shall now sell all that i have
and buy this geat paradise .
So he bought the land . After the sale the leader quickly left and bid the man farewell
and said I must return to my church quickly and gather others to come and help you build in this new paradise .
So the leader left and the man began to look around at his paradise .
How beautiful this place is , said the man . He walked the shoreline
and came upon a sign and on that sign it said , BEWARE OF THE HIGH TIDE
if you are reading this you have about an hour before it cometh and totally floods the land .
HE says within himself , HOW the heck can i get off this land seeing i sold all i have
I cannot fly , to leave i cannot . HOW can i warn others NOT to COME to this land .
And in the distance he see a massive wave a coming and then he heard this small voice
which answered him , I had sent men unto you unto them churches to warn men of THE HIGH TIDE
but they and YOU chose to heed the men of the low tide and NOW YE SHALL REAP the DESTRUCTION of false hope
YOU HOPED IN ...............................................

Let he or she who has ears to hear and eyes to see read the parable of he or she who removes
the warnings and severity of GOD and decides to buy into another version of His goodness
for it will not bold well for those who do so on the DAY of the LORD .
what did that man in the parable not realize .
well lets finish the story shall we .
From the leader who led this man to this place ,and what had occured .
you see had the man noticed he would have seen as this leader left him
to get back onto his plane . This leader takes off his white wool covered garments
and the wolf hops onto his jet . What this man did not know and did not discern was
wolves can wear wool and they sure can offer unto man what sounds real good and pleasant to man and yet
at the end IS HIS DISTRUCTION .

Isn't there a provision for that in Matthew 25:34-36 and Romans 2:14-16 ?
How are people saved, by the good deeds they do or by faith in Jesus?

Is Bill Gates more fit for heaven as a result of the millions he's poured into charity work, then say, yourself.

Yes I think God is merciful to those who have not heard the gospel and who naturally obey his laws, but that does not apply to your neighbour, work colleagues etc.
They know about Jesus, even if only as a swear word.

God is within those who are his.
As John 1 says to those who believed in him, he gave the right to become children of God.
That is not something non Christians have.

Jesus's promise to be with us always was given to his followers.
Thats right my friend . If you will take a real simple notice
there is now this huge onset that has come in within christendom .
Now before i remind you , cause i THINK YOU already know this , allow me to remind us all
of what the very one thing the serpent was all about .
As are his men today .
What did the serpent want eve to BELIEVE . ;was it what GOD had said , or rather what he said .
THIS that has come within christendome
Will do anything and everything it can to remove something .
But this very SOMETHING both CHRIST and the apostels had preached from the start .
TO BELIEVE GOD , TO BELIEVE HIS CHRIST .
what this very crafity serpent has done
is done all to try and remove the BELIEVE in CHRIST part . OH and HE KNOWS HOW TO MAKE IT SEEM SO VERY LOVING
on his very BROAD INCLUSIVE and DIVERSE path he do preach .
WHAT DID GOD tell adam . YE must NOT eat of the tree in the midst of the garden because in the day you do
YOU DIE .
What did JESUS say , IF YE BELIEVE NOT HE WHOM GOD DID SEND
IF ye believe not . but today all we see are sensual messages that go about
INSTEAD of reminding and telling of the DIRE NEED TO BELEIVE
they go around trying to plant ideas about how it just might be okay IF ONE DID NOT BELIEVE .
WE got us an anti christ message all over the place . And the devil sure knows how to make it sound so very loving
and very accepting and how all have such a wonderful good end , IF , but that IF DONT INCLUDE the BELIEVE IN JESUS PART
it says something else . and that something else no matter what word they try and use , like just loved
or just etc , IT AINT SAVING DIDLY DOO . and THE DEVIL WHO WANTS ALL Damned has brought a message
of damanation in , under the guise that it is love and is of GOD .
It really is time for us to fall back in love with the TRUTH , and THE FATHER IS TRUTH , THE SON IS TRUTH
the SPIRIT is TRUTH , and them words in that bible ARE TRUTH . folks better watch out cause decepetion abounds big time .

God is merciful and HE knows the heart of every singel man and woman that ever walked the earth .
GOD has chosen HOW to save them . By the preaching of the one true gospel of BELIEVE YE IN JESUS THE CHRIST .
And we would marvel at just how many have already heard it and rejected it .
marvel i say . Every atheists i have ever spoken too personally or watched them debate on tv
on internet sites , they dont debate because they never heard , they debate that which they did hear , and REJECT .
Many have heard . not all , but many have and many have rejected too .
JESUS said He would not return till THE GOSPEL had been preached . SO that sounds like folks had a chance TO ME .
Those within interfaith have heard the gospel and either at one time believed it but moved on
or they never did beleive it . But i give us this challenge today
GO to anyone on this site. JUST THIS SITE ALONE . and i want us to ask everyone HAVE YOU ever heard
about having to BELIEVE JESUS IS THE CHRIST . and i bet NOT ONE will say , OH I NEVER HEARD THAT before .
YOu would be amazed at how many have heard and have rejected . NOW this dont mean some of them
might not later be drawn . BUT WHAT IT DO MEAN
is we need to stop listening to these sold out seeker friendly interfaith men . AND Actually start reminding
everyone and THAT DO INCLUDE CHRISTENDOM , that ONE MUST BELEIVE ON JESUS THE CHRIST
and they had better be loving and following HIM and not some other jesus either .

TRUTH , there is great danger in taking scrips out of text . And yet what i say to one i say to all
A HECKTON of christendom now does this . the JW has been well at doing so . but they are not alone
The RCC and scores of others do the same . Watch out buyer that what one do buy is not a well cloaked lie
but rather OPEN THE BIBLE and BUY THAT TRUTH for yourself . Thanks for that reminder my dear one .

Its becoming quite clear that the spiritual discernment GOD gave me of this person , ITS BEING CONFIRMED big time .
THey have not come to ask questions but to create doubt . INTERFAITH Is STRONG in this one.
Many cannot see or discern as they sat under the judge not and correct nots . it has become lets all find commn ground and get along .
on that path It will end in DESTRUCTION . My heart breaks and weeps for many
but remember I DID TRY AND HELP by warning out against such things and by pointing to continually
the dire reminder and reminders of CHRIST and them apostels .

God sustains ALL! God is within ALL!

John 3:16-18
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

That aint what GOD said . oh he said the john three sixteen through eighteen part .
But HERE IS what GOD said concerning all .
HE who is not with me is against me and HE who is against me shall scatter .
THUS lets not forget versse eighteen . THE BELIEVES PART . cause HE sure had a lot to tell
those who refused to repent to BELIEVE ON HIM , and man it didnt sound good either .
As did the apostels too . I suggest we stop trying to unify all , and rather simply preach CHRIST and unify
with THOSE WHO DO PREACH CHRIST and all , ALL , ALL things HE did teach . that would include
the warnings too . even those like YE are of your father the devil to those jews who refused to beleive on HIM
EVEN THOUGH THEY TOLD HIM GOD IS OUR FATHER . all other religoins DENY JESUS IS THE CHRIST
THEY have not the truth , they know not GOD , they walk in darkness and stumble at that which they know not .
ITS TIME to REMIND all of the aboslute dire need to BELIEVE THAT JESUS IS THE CHRIST , THAT GOD DID rise him from the dead
and that one MUST Believe and confess HIM by mouth . watch out .

You too suffer from an enormous amount of self-pride.

Acts 17:25
Nor is he served by human hands, as though he needed anything, since he himself gives to all mankind life and breath and everything.
Did you say i suffer from pride . Rather odd its not me trying to imply man can somehow save himself .
I am trusting IN CHRIST ALONE and remnding all of the dire NEED TO BELIEVE ON HIM .
You all have been seriously decieved if you think pointing to the dire need to beleive on JESUS
is somehow PRIDEFUL .

Hello @NotTheRock

You say...God sustains ALL! God is within ALL!

Yes, we came from the Spirit Of God , he certainly is the one sustaining everyone.

1. Isaiah 46:4. Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and arry you I will sustain you and I will rescue you.

Would you agree with that?

God was apparently speaking to Isaiah. Sometimes his words are intended only for specific people, such as in this verse. Of course I "agree" with God.

Ok @NotTheRock ..thank you.i guess everyone sees / interprets scripture differently.

Short commentary.

Showing results for 1 isaiah 46:4 mean

God is with you from your time of birth to your time of death. He made you and He will care for you. That is a declaration and a promise that He has made, so it shouldn't be taken lightly. He is never going to leave you and He will never change from being omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient

I fully agree and thank you for sharing. My point was that, what God says to one person in the Bible, may or may NOT be applicable to others. I believe that we must make those discernments.

Let's use an average Muslim woman from Indonesia as an example. She was raised to believe Islam and that all other belief systems are lies. She leads an unremarkable life and doesn't engage in criminal activities and is a loving daughter, wife, and mother. When she dies, will she go to Hell?
I have not been reading all responses to this question. Just a few of them.

It makes no difference how complicated you folks make the answer to this question.

The Bible describes it plain and simple:
There is only one way to the Father and that way is through Jesus Christ.

It makes no difference how good a life you lived, how honest you were, etc. etc.
All that counts is "accept Jesus Christ".

All religions telling you something different is false teaching and leads to eternal damnation.
