Jn 6:45 “It is written in the prophets, ‘AND THEY SHALL ALL BE TAUGHT OF GOD.' Everyone who has heard and learned from the Father, comes to Me.

Now I recently read where someone posting thinks that we are taught by the different churches and denominations. That kind of thinking is not hard to find in the church today. And I can understand it, because we take the leader (pastor priest or preacher) and have that single person get up in front of the church and give the "message" for that week. Yet that person is not God!!!!

Now understand that I am not against someone bring a message, prophecy, teaching, word of knowledge, or even a tongue with and interpretation. And it is also clear that we need and God placed leaders in the churches. Yet if our churches only think their pastor, prophet, teacher, priest, is the only one taught of God so they are to bring the message they do not match up with the Bible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now when the Lord asks me to go to a church, and He certainly does at times even telling me what ministry He wants me in, I want to go and do what He tells me and I don't worry about if the leaders are doing it correct. And so it is that today, just a few minutes ago, He asked me to cover this for Him.

So I am saying that I don't worry or get concerned with how the church He tells me to go to operates, but HE does!!!!

So, are you leaders, and those of you who consider yourselves to be leaders in the church, listen to Him???

I am just saying I don't care, but He tells me that He does care that you listen to Him!!

And in that regard, He has me preaching the Word of God to mean Him and us personally listening to Him. And from what I hear from Him, He is adamite about this!! Indeed, I just heard Him in my ear saying that where it is written that many will come to Him on that day saying they did things in His name but He tells them He never knew them, well that is going to include many leaders in churches!! And He said something about those glorifying themselves will not be in the glory of His Kingdom.

So you leaders might want to ask yourself - 'Do I personally know the Lord and spend time talking back and forth with Him'.

If you are not so sure, then ask if you leadership results in anything that looks like " ‘AND THEY SHALL ALL BE TAUGHT OF GOD.'?

Of course the "All" means those going to heaven and not those sent away because He does not know them, right?

Mat 7:23 “And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.'

1 Cor 12:7 But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good.

1 Cor 14:29 Let two or three prophets speak....

Now I have been to a few churches where you might have "two or three prophets speak", but that is not how it is in most Christian churches I have been to. Indeed, it is not even how it is in the Christian "charismatic" church the Lord currently has me going to! It sometimes is like that in the back rooms, but only there and not always there either. So are leaders leading the services or trying to be the services? Does not the rest of 1 Cor 14:29 read "... and let the others pass judgment."

That to me is incredible, because as Christians we know that Jesus did not judge but as He heard He judged. But if His sheep hear His voice, then what gets judged if the Lord cares about this even when I don't? Which is to say, "what judgement do I hear from Him when I listen to Him?" I will tell you, but you should have read about it already. It has not changed, has it?

Is 30:1 “Woe to the rebellious children,” declares the LORD,
“Who execute a plan, but not Mine,
And make an alliance, but not of My Spirit,
In order to add sin to sin;

Still there is good news:

Is 30:20,21 Although the Lord has given you bread of privation and water of oppression, He, your Teacher will no longer hide Himself, but your eyes will behold your Teacher. Your ears will hear a word behind you, “This is the way, walk in it,” whenever you turn to the right or to the left

So who is your teacher, and who are we who know Him learning from?

I am telling you the Christian who thinks 'we are taught by the different churches and denominations' does not know Him, or they would know that He is the Teacher, and anyone getting up with a teaching at church should have been hearing from the Teacher, right?

I believe Jesus is saying that the Father acknowledges the Son. In John Jesus says Whoever believes in the Son believes in the Father. I think that links Jesus as the only way to God, His Father.

Yes, of course.

What I find more interesting is who much "the Father acknowledges the Son" and vis versa!!

From coming to know the Son I come to know the Father! Not directly, but as Jesus pointed out, if you know the Son you know the Father.

Jn 14:9 Jesus *said to him, “Have I been so long with you, and yet you have not come to know Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; how can you say, ‘Show us the Father'?

What you find out, not right off the bat but after you have spent time with Him like His disciples didn't know right off but they finally asked about it and it was explain [as send in the above verse] is that the Father gives all things to the Son! And that includes the very words of God! And the Son is so humble as to not even think for a moment that His words are better for you than the words His Father has for you. So the Son does not ever, ever, ever, speak to you what He thinks! So He does not speak on His own initiative but He ONLY speaks the words of God that He gets from His Father! Just like explained in the Scriptures!

Jn 14:10 “Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father is in Me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on My own initiative, but the Father abiding in Me does His works.

And in that regard, He sends the Holy Spirit who takes the words of God which Jesus Christ (The Son) has and got from His Father, and speaks them to our spirit. Therefore even the Holy Spirit, like the Son, does not speak on His own initiative but He gets the words of God which have been given to the Son, from the Son and gives them to our spirit.

Jn 16:14,15 “But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come.
“He will glorify Me, for He will take of Mine and will disclose it to you.

And that is how each of His sheep wind up learning from God. That is: we hear from the Son via the Holy Spirit, but hearing the words of God which belong to the Son, means hearing what His Father wanted us to hear. Therefore the Father glorifies the Son by giving Him all things, including the very words of God which came from the Father to the Son, then from the Son to our Spirit. So the Father and the Son glorify the Son, and the Son glorifies the Father and uses the Holy Spirit.

Indeed, this is how God is One God, because having the Spirit of God in us means having direct access to the Son, who is the KING OF KINGS, and knowing the Son means knowing His Father because He only does and says what His Father tells Him and when. That is what the following is true:

Mat 11:27 “All things have been handed over to Me by My Father; and no one knows the Son except the Father; nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and anyone to whom the Son wills to reveal Him.

So as Christians, we tell people to seek Jesus Christ and listen to Him, knowing that doing that gives them access to the Holy Spirit who gets His words from the Son, who gets His words from the Father. Therefore, all good things flow down from the Father of lights!

So the only time you really get to know what Jesus Christ, the Son thinks, is if you pick up a conversation between the Son and His Father, and how often does that happen? Not often, but if you have ears to hear you might come across it.

Mt 23:39 And after going a little farther, He fell face down and prayed, saying, “My Father, if it is possible [that is, consistent with Your will], let this cup pass from Me; yet not as I will, but as You will.”

By over hearing that type of conversation, His disciples found out that Jesus did not want to go to the cross and was hoping there might still be another way. Never-the-less, He was still going to do as the Father asked and wound up on the cross because He knew His Father knows best!

To be clear:

I have been asked by the Lord (over and over) to "preach the Word of God" and that to mean Him and we need to listen to Him (Jesus Christ - whose name is called The Word of God)

So do we listen to Him or reject listening to Him?

The Israelites in the Bible did not listen to the Lord, and they wanted to kill the prophets who came to tell them to listen!!

So what is really going on here?

I use Scriptures to back up what He has told me to do. And I do not tell people to seek our Lord Jesus Christ because I hate them, but in order to save them, because we are saved through faith in Jesus Christ and faith comes from hearing Him. And He, The Word of God, is near us. Which is to say that we can hear from Him via His Holy Spirit, by listening with our spiritual ears, so we find Him speaking to us in our mouth and in our hearts, but who believe in Him?

So being taught by God does not mean you read your Bible or you call yourself a Christian, it means actually seek the voice of the Lord which will come across in words from what we call His small voice (but what the writers of the Bible called the word of the Lord -Him) Now He will tell you to read your Bible, if you have a Bible and can read it, but Abraham did not have a Bible and he personally knew the word of the Lord.

Gen 15:1 After these things the word of the LORD came to Abram in a vision, saying, “Do not fear, Abram,

So to you know Him who appeared to Abram in a vision a spoke to him or not???

If not, do you want to kill the messenger? Was not Jesus Christ killed by those who had the Scriptures? They too said He had a demon, but it was not Him, but them who didn't listen. I am just happy that He has me bringing the message to hear from Him on a Christian forum through the internet. Demons can make a person say and do all sorts of things. But the Holy Spirit will tell you Jesus Christ is Lord, and so you need to seek Him and what He has to tell you!

Personally I have come to know more about God's mercy and grace since I stopped consulting the holy bible and began consulting the Holy Spirit. He has revealed truth beyond what the contributors of the bible have. It's no surprise though hey, considering the Spirit was the One Who shared a bit of truth with them and is continuing to download further truth to God's people directly ever since.

One of the most ridiculous things I've heard was when someone said God stopped communicating with us when the bible came. It replaced Him. Thankfully enlightened children of God see through Satan's attempt to silence God, which is impossible.

Just to add to this, 'Thankfully enlightened children of God see through Satan's attempt to silence God, which is impossible'. What appears to be possible is Satan's ability to stop humans from hearing God communicating with us.

The myriad of distractions at Satan's disposal that he uses to preoccupy us so that we have no time and no mental energy left to listen out for God's voice.

The temptation is then to in order to alleviate any guilt or shame we quickly read from the bible or listen to a christian song then lauch into our self indulgent day. Where is God in our everyday life? Left locked in our bedroom where He's confined within the pages of a book.

No wonder the world doesn't encounter God in us even though He's always with us and will never forsake us. Unfortunately we leave Him and forsake Him regularly.

I can see where Paul was coming from when he said, Therefore, since you have been raised with Christ, strive for the things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. Col 3

YES YES YES

And understanding that God - even the Word of God is near us to be found in our hearts and even in our mouths is so extremely important to us and man kind as a whole.

We are as smart as the Lord our God. We are not in a position to know things like the Lord our God. We can not understand what is happening now so how much less what is going to happen. We don't know how others feel and think. We don't know the right thing to do, even when it is something we have been doing everyday. We are not omni-present, omnipotent, omniscient, or any of those other fancy words that describe God. But we can know Him, and that is what He wants too.

Knowing Him does not make you Him. You are still you, but He sends His Holy Spirit to abide in you are the temple of God. So you can ask Him things! You can reason with Him! You can try to do what He asks, which is good for you because He loves you! And so the life you then live is better than the life you were living!!!! And get this!! If you listen to Him, which takes faith that He is there for you, then He promises to also give you life enteral!! So you can walk and talk with Him forever more! And there is something written about a time when we won't even remember the evil times we have now.

And now, Today, is the day we can and need to listen to Him!!

Yeah - The Spirit of God is not the only spirit around!

But if you do not hear with your spiritual ears and seek Jesus Christ as your Teacher, what do you know about the spiritual realm around you? Nothing, that is what you know if you don't know Him! And you can't even figure out all the tricks of the devil, even if you did know the devil is around us so that we battle with those dark evil forces around us. So we need Him and His Kingdom everyday called Today!! Of did we not read and then pray the Lord's Prayer, which includes things like "Thy Kingdom Come," and "lead me not into temptation", and "deliver me from evil." We absolutely need Him for all that too!!

Yet the first words from that snake in the garden were, 'Did God really say"! So Satan is all about getting us to think that God is not there to speak to us!! Satan, that snake of old, has always been trying to separate us from God by telling us that the Lord our God, Jesus Christ, who is named "The Word of God", because He does talk to us via His Holy Spirit, is not there speaking to us. But He is! He does say! He wants us to reason with Him - and check out what happens if we do:

Is 1:18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

So just because we decide to reason back and forth with Him - and not even because we are right because we are not going to be right when we reasoning with Him, but we will lean if we do so - we get our sins changed from scarlet to white. He forgives for all the bad thins we do, because we are now willing to learn from Him.

So I want my family to know Him. I want my neighbors to know Him. I want those at the church I go to know Him. I want those at my work to know Him. I want my enemies to know Him. I want all the politicians to know Him. I want our leaders to know Him. I want those posting on this forum to know Him. I want the Russians to know Him, the Israelites and the Palestinians to know Him. I actually want all people to know Him, walk with Him, hear from Him!! How else is this world going to be better? How else are we going to get people to heaven.

And for the world to come to know Him personally, doesn't He first need His people who are called by His name (Christians) to actually come to know Him.

If anyone really has the Holy Spirit in them, they want this too!! They will rejoice when someone (anyone) tells them to seek the Lord their God, Jesus Christ, and listen to Him. And that because that would be what that is what they are telling themselves everyday called Today.

So who thinks that is an attack on them? Is it not someone like those Moses brought to the foot of the mountain of God who said, "Let Not God speak to us"?

That should not be how we Christians are, should it? Was it not for that reason that the following was said the Israel:

Hos 1: 6-9 Then she conceived again and gave birth to a daughter. And the LORD said to him, “Name her Lo-ruhamah, for I will no longer have compassion on the house of Israel, that I would ever forgive them.
“But I will have compassion on the house of Judah and deliver them by the LORD their God, and will not deliver them by bow, sword, battle, horses or horsemen.
When she had weaned Lo-ruhamah, she conceived and gave birth to a son.
And the LORD said, “Name him Lo-ammi, for you are not My people and I am not your God.”

And so we see now in the land of Israel, the Jews. Yet it was also written:

Hos 1:10 Yet the number of the sons of Israel
Will be like the sand of the sea,
Which cannot be measured or numbered;
And in the place
Where it is said to them,
“You are not My people,”
It will be said to them,
“You are the sons of the living God.”

And we Christians have been grafted into the Jewish root and are counted as sons of Abraham if we listen to the Lord like Abraham did.

Gal 4:6 Because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying, “Abba! Father!”

And of Him, Jesus Christ the Lord our God it was written:

Is 9:6 For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us;
And the government will [rest on His shoulders;
And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.

So I do not lie when I tell you that He tells me He loves me, and often. I hear Him. And He calls me 'son', and often when we walk and talk together. And He gives me teachings like:

"Karl, they call Me Wonderful Counselor and so I Am. But I am not a wonderful counselor to those who don't listen to Me."

And how do people hear God and know that it is God? By reading the Bible.

First and foremost we learn, we hear God through scripture, 2ndly we hear God through the teaching, preaching of Godly pastors, 3rdly we grow in spiritual maturity as we read, study the Bible and seek to live for Jesus, we can hear him, but let's be honest.
This is not the experience of every Christian, very few Christians hear directly from God, by dreams, missions or a voice.
For most it is a conviction brought about from the bible or a sermon in regard to something they are thinking about.

To start attending a church and talking about ones experiences of God will not be helpful for most Christian.
Like an Iron Man winner talking about his training to a round the block jogger, not helpful or encouraging to the jogger.

Of course the above comments are just silly and don't make sense!!

God made everything, so He has always been around, and He has always been talking to people - yet a silly person claims they read the Bible and think it is the Word of God, when the Scriptures explain this. Adam and Eve heard from God before the Scriptures were written. Enoch walked with God before there were any Scriptures. Noah heard from God, built a huge ship when nobody was doing anything like that, and all that before any Scripture. The word of the Lord appeared to Abram in a vision and talked back and forth with God before any Scriptures were written - and Moses brought the Israelites out of Egypt he started the Scriptures then, after he did what he heard God telling him to do. And that was just the start of the writing of Scripture!

So either "Windmill Charge" didn't read the Bible or has trouble with basic logic. Obviously, there must be some understanding of the Bible and the above info I provided above, so why the trouble with basic logic. Is not the answer that we all have a battle with the powers, principalities and dark forces spiritual forces of this world. Who told Windmill Charge that the Scriptures is how we hear from God when the Scriptures clearly explain that it is the Holy Spirit who provided the words of God to us, and that we need some discernment of spirits! King Solomon knew this and so when give a clear chance to ask for anything, Solomon asked for discernment. And he wrote:

Prov 2:6 For the LORD gives wisdom; From His mouth come knowledge and understanding.

So wisdom does not come from The Book, but from the mouth of God!!!

You have to listen to His Holy Spirit!!
And practicing using your spiritual senses gives you discernment of good and evil!

Heb 5: 13,14 For everyone who partakes only of milk is not accustomed to the word of righteousness, for he is an infant.
But solid food is for the mature, who because of practice have their senses trained to discern good and evil.

The Scriptures are good for reproof, teaching, and training up - but they are not the Word of God. So it is that I use them to reprove - to show that hearing God is not reading the Scripture - otherwise how did all those people hear the Lord from the beginning - even to Saul/Paul hearing from Him on the road and more even after Jesus (the Word of God) went back to heaven.

That is the Word of God we are preaching!!

Rom 10: 6 - 8 But the righteousness based on faith speaks as follows: “DO NOT SAY IN YOUR HEART, ‘WHO WILL ASCEND INTO HEAVEN?’ (that is, to bring Christ down),
or ‘WHO WILL DESCEND INTO THE ABYSS?’ (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead).”
But what does it say? “THE WORD IS NEAR YOU, IN YOUR MOUTH AND IN YOUR HEART”—that is, the word of faith which we are preaching,

And how do you know that the message you have is from God?

The mere fact that you deny that the bible is the word of God shows that you have not heard from God.

Again how do you validate the message you have received?
Are you like the Mormons who claim there experience of a ' warm feeling ' or like Paul who commended the Berans in Acts 17:11 for checking the messages they received against scripture.
Something you consider to be not Christian.

There is plenty in the Bible - including a very specific test or two - about how to test the spirits!!

We should have read our Bible and known of this test, and more importantly we should know and listen to Him who points this test out to us and explains it/them and the reasoning behind them.

The most specific test is:

1 Jn 4: 1-3 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God;
and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God; this is the spirit of the antichrist, of which you have heard that it is coming, and now it is already in the world.

The above is a very specific test that we find commanded by John, who did hear from the Lord personally, to use. But reading about the test does not mean you used the test and heard from THE WORD OF GOD of whom we preach!! And indeed, sine you call the orderly line of text in the Bible the word of God, then you have not listen to Him, nor have you used the test!!! Because the test require you do seek the words of God with come from Jesus Christ, who is THE WORD OF GOD, via His Holy Spirit, who confesses and indeed promotes and glorifies Jesus Christ, THE WORD OF GOD, who took on flesh and went to the cross, died and rose again to the throne of God because He is the KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.

If indeed a person knows Jesus Christ as their Lord, that means the hear from Him via His Holy Spirit talking to their spirit. They then pick up His spirit in their heart, or perhaps pick up His words even coming out of their mouth, because they were not listening to their heart and what His Holy Spirit put there. Yet the person unwilling to listen to Him speaking to them in their heart has to look elsewhere for His words, so they only have the orderly lines of text that they read a little here and there. Yet that results in them leaning on their own understanding, or everything, including what is good and bad. And king Solomon explained in the Scriptures that you are not to do that, as told to him by the Lord!

Verses that are applicable to the above:

1 Cor 12:3 Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God says, “Jesus is accursed”; and no one can say, “Jesus is Lord,” except by the Holy Spirit.

- note: the Holy Spirit always declares Jesus Christ is Lord and makes Him so in your life by bring His words to you. The Spirit does not speak on His own initiative. So Jesus being your Lord means you personally are actually hearing and getting commands from Him, via the Holy Spirit in your life! And if you are doing that you know that Jesus Christ is the Word of God and is your Lord (the One giving you instructions)

Rev 19:13 He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God.

You will note that His name is "The Word of God"!! That is not the name of your Bible. It is called your Bible, or perhaps the Sacred Scriptures. The Greek word for it used in the Scriptures is "graphe", and that is not translated 'word' in your Bible. The two Greek words we find translated 'word' in your Bible are Logos and Rhema, and neither refer to the Scriptures as a whole! Because the Bible has words from many beings, including Satan, in it! And we find Logos used in the verse above, mean "Logos of God, is His name, so not the name of the Scriptures. Still, Isaiah prophesied that those not listening to the Lord would call the orderly lines of text the word.

Is 28:12,13 He who said to them, “Here is rest, give rest to the weary,”
And, “Here is repose,” but they would not listen.
So the word of the LORD to them will be,
“[fn]Order on order, order on order,
Line on line, line on line,
A little here, a little there,”
That they may go and stumble backward, be broken, snared and taken captive.

And does not that apply in the quoted post above I am responding to?

Yeap!

The Spirit of God is not the only spirit around!

Your emphasise is listen to the ' Spirit ', you say know your Bible, yet you say the Bible is not the word of God.
If the bible is just another so called holy book, why do you refer to scripture, and again how do you test the Spirits you are listening to.

I would suggest that any spirit that tells you to ignore the bible is not from God.

What do you mean by ignore the bible.

I don't read the bible and haven't for years. I have gone beyond the bible and hear from God the Spirit just as those who did before the scriptures existed.

So suggest away. The Spirit told me to repent of the bible as it became an idol which came between God and I.

I hear Christ through others as well as directly.

Any spirit, guidance, teaching that says don't read the bible is not coming from God.

So who told you that?

We're you carried along by the Spirit when you wrote, Any spirit, guidance, teaching that says don't read the bible is not coming from God.

Should we accept that these words inspired?

How can I test these words you wrote?

The bible is the word of God, as it says we are to test messages delivered to us by the bible.

How can you test it?

Very simply by asking your spirits to confirm is the bible the word of God.

2 Tim3:and how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. 16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the servant of God[a] may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

If you are not so sure, then ask if you leadership results in anything that looks like " ‘AND THEY SHALL ALL BE TAUGHT OF GOD.'?

Of course the "All" means those going to heaven and not those sent away because He does not know them, right?
I actually think the "All" refers to an even wider class of people than just those going to heaven. The possibility exists that one can be "taught by God" (albeit not directly, as Paul was!) and not make it to heaven. When we read John 6:45, let's not forget the OT verse that Jesus was referencing, Isaiah 54:13: “And all your children shall be taught by the LORD, and great shall be the peace of your children.” That refers to the children of Israel -- not all of whom are heading through the Pearly Gates.
