Cooked up trouble starting with a stone in some water in a saucepan.

What was left was rather watery and salty.

I have no idea how you figured that out.lfh

Yes we’re only three days in right now. Feeling a whole lot better already.
I've been doing this for 16 months and it has helped with digestive issues, muscle strength, reducing inflammation by about 75%, which is amazing considering I have several trauma related conditions. My thyroid seems to be healing ...I can now take Lugol's iodine drops whereas before, any iodine supplementation caused my thyroid to swell painfully. I am seeing things slowly improve. :)

I have a ribeye that I plan to cook soon ...will likely have an egg and a few slices of bacon with it. lol

My favorite easy meal...
*1lb grass fed ground beef
*1lb grass fed "primal blend" beef (has ground beef and organ meats)
*2 pasture raised eggs
*seasonings: Redmond's salt, organic paprika, smoked paprika, and garlic powder to taste

I mix all of those together and make burger patties. It'll make about 5 large patties for me. It lasts a couple of days (ish) depending on if I eat one meal or two meals a day.
So I have one large burger patty topped with some Amish butter, organic cheese, a pastured egg, and a few slices of bacon. YUM! :yum:

But the last 2 days, I've had a hankering for just 2 or 3 eggs with cheese melted over and about 10 or 12 slices of thick cut bacon. lol

Tonight, I had a ribeye steak with 6 slices of bacon. My one and only meal for the day.

I had a bacon and eggs but I really wanted to add some grits and pancakes to it!
I hear you. If you stay with it, the cravings will subside and the benefits will be so worth it! :)

I was keto for about 6 years before carnivore. But all those salads and such messed with my digestive system. My body was calling for more protein and fats. I'd increase it some, but told myself I couldn't afford meat. But when my digestion shut down, I quit veggies and fruits and went on a bone broth diet for 2 months. It's all I could take in. I began to cook up grass fed chuck roast and cut it into small pieces, and blend it into the broth with a stick blender. So I did that for about 3 months with digestive enzymes and bitter herbs (for bile production). Eventually I was able to eat small amounts of solid meats ...then it got better and better. If I venture off carnivore and have keto ice cream, or Lily's low carb chocolate ....my tummy rebels! I can have small amounts about once a week and I do okay... like, 2 or 3 squares of low carb dark chocolate... or 1 cup of vanilla keto ice cream.

My wife surprised me tonight with a broccoli battered pizza. Very good.
Does this mean broccoli was used as batter for a pizza? How did she accomplish that? Or am misinterpreting what you wrote?

No, you got it right. Honestly, I don't know exactly how she did it. Let me ask ...

1st, steam the broccoli. Then crumble it. The, add egg, a little bread crumbs and put it in a blender. The result is akin to dough in texture.
