I realize I can’t convince you otherwise..to me two things are front and center: Gods hate and God’s respect of persons. to me they do go together. Hate and respect of persons. Those religious leaders spoke of Him as hate and respect of persons. But there are so many contradictions where Jesus Christ told them they are the respecters of persons.
Romans 2:8-13 But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, [9] Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that does evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile; [10] But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that works good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: [11] For there is no respect of persons with God. [12] For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law; [13] (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.
To me that says that upon …using him as an example…upon Saul tribulation and anguish. Upon Paul glory, honor and peace. By your understanding …Gods’ foreknowledge of when the time come Paul was brought forth, separated from his mothers (the bond woman’s) womb and because of the Mercy of God (the free woman …New Jerusalem up above, made free by the body of Christ) to separate Paul (a vessel of Mercy) from Saul (a vessel fitted for destruction) for God’s glory.
Jeremiah 18:3-4 Then I went down to the potter's house, and, behold, he wrought a work on the wheels. [4] And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.
you are suggesting God’s foreknowledge of Paul being born anew by the body of Christ, God did not hate all the dung sown of Saul (the long-suffering of God enduring “Saul” that God’s Mercy be made manifest “Christ in Paul” …a new vessel yet Saul had been a vessel fitted for destruction…”a waster”, until the time God created a new vessel unto honor “in Christ”… all the taking of the body to be killed “Saul, why do you persecute Me?” unto prison to be tried, binding those who would dare call out unto God, and let’s not forget Saul’s being in agreement with the stoning of Stephen who cried God doesn’t dwell in temples made with hands. It is clear which vessel God has Mercy on (Imo) it’s Paul and on whom he condemns “Saul”. To me that is not favoritism but saying which vessel is prepared unto Glory, and which vessel is destroyed(done away with in Christ). And man can’t debate it, is what I hear. For example men can’t say upon Saul be honor and glory which they do sometimes try to claim to keep their imaginations…if fact it seemed during that transformation of Paul they (those preferring Saul) …they didn’t like the new transformation in Paul. Even they hated it, Christ in Paul. Makes me think of no man strait way prefers the New but prefers the Old. As they prefer Saul. Calling or noting Paul appeared weak to them. And how it has to be put in new skins or bottles unless there is a tear and the old does not agree with the New.
