But most Churches are segregated along racial lines not because of any other reason than the minorities prefer it that way.
The minorities are still prejudiced against the majority population.
And when the minorities decide to drop all racism and live as anyone can...they succeed.

What do you refer to whites who commit the same crimes? Hispanics? Or other ethnic groups?
The majority are the ones that at least are over half their numbers are still prejudice.
Descendents of slaves never benefited from their ancestor's brutal slavery. Even as close as the 1080's Blacks were still treated unequally and truth be told still equality is still an issue.
You say Blacks want to stay away from White's - well those that do have good reason - they know how most White's feel towards Blacks - if not for laws passed Blacks would still be in chains and / or suppressed.
Whites who move into the as you say the ghetto is treated well and equal - no negative talking behind closed doors.

I doubt if reparations will be given - then for *life times* - over a century since ending slavery - and the centuries of slavery what amount of money could even be said to rectify it.
Besides equality is better - change of hearts - that is what will last. Money will disappear true equality will last.
Are you so prejudiced that you believe everyone who lives in a ghetto is one specific color or race? Thugs come in every color and race the world has including white, red, yellow, olive, brown, and black.

Churches accept people from ALL WALKS OF LIFE. A millionaire can likely be sitting next to someone living on state assistance. Whether they are of the same race is not relevant nor their socio economic status. It's a core principle of our faith....perhaps you don't know that because you are not a believer.
All are welcome in God's House because it's God's....not any one ethnicity because God made all ethnicities.
But as far as reparations....California was not part of the Civil War nor did it have black slaves....it had a few Asian slaves. But for whatever reason they are being ignored.
Then there's the Semoan population which is more deserving of reparations than black people in California who were never slaves to begin with.
So....why give those who were never enslaved reparations after they already have been offered preferential treatment for college admissions, tutoring, scholarships, small business loans, and hiring practices for fortune 500 companies?
It is ultimately MORE prejudiced to declare that someone can have no success in the USA solely based on the color of his skin or his ethnicity. When nothing further from the truth could be true. There exists a wide range of people from various ethnicities that have achieved economic success in the USA. From Ethiopian to Mexican, Korean, Chinese, Japanese, Jamaican, Brazilian, Argentinian and Polish. Even the Irish.
Everyone has done well with education, hard work, and a bit of luck.

Also, the USA is in debt enough already.... doesn't she realize that? She just wants the votes.
I'm also from California....never had black slaves here. But the Catholic priests used Native American labor to build our historic Spanish missions up and down the coast.

What comes next is more reparations. The allure of free money is too great. Once that can of worms is opened, it will never end.
The only ones who truly deserved reparations were the slaves themselves, but that moment has long since passed.

A lot of black people support and love Trump. They talk against Kamala and her policies. Also, they see she is using race to try to get votes.
There are some people that are still racist. But many of us are not. My parents were never prejudiced so I was brought up that way in Pennsylvania (I'm born in 1950). Also, I always took to heart that Jesus said love your neighbor as yourself. Do unto others as you would have others do unto you.
And I live in Los Angeles which is a huge melting pot of ethnicities. If you are prejudiced here, you will be hating nearly everyone! I'm white. I have one white friend....my other friends are from Mexico, Guatemala, Bangladesh, Kenya and India.

I think we agree on this.
And yes, I think that, if left to our own devices, we've become sophisticated enough and intelligent enough that color means nothing these days. EXCEPT that, yes, some want to cause strife. And, unfortunately, some mainstream types get caught up with the radicals on either side.
Radical is bad -be it left or right. But, right now, it's the left that is making our world a crazy place to be growing up in for kids.
