I think they describe it as identity politics. I have an older black guy as a friend and we dont talk politics much but he does blame Biden for massive inflation etc... He is Ex Military, and we don't have a racist bone in either of us. We both help each other out when needed. Circumstances brought us together as we both have boats at a marina and are next to each other. Neither of us are rich but we are also not poor, just part of the shrinking middle class situation democrats have created.

I remember a place called manny peaks and 5 of us were riding out enduro bikes and off the side of a road was a huge drop off and then it just goes down a mountain side steep as. well i seen Peter shaking like a leaf and he is a top class rider ! but you may crash and fall off on that jump ! we had been down that track times before but it had been erroded say 12 ft more off the jump. It needed to get done ! and once you got that out the way it was yyyeeeeeharr ! and hanging on that you do not come off and then it's a sharp right turn as you go up the side of the mountain and you have to be ready to give it all you have got to make it to the top of that range ! and it is fantastic if you can make it in one go ! but hell if you don't, that becomes taxing on the body when you are young and fit. But we all loved it riding out their and i am proud that i did that stuff, now i could not even crawl down them hills let alone crawl up them by myself. nor could anyone help you up.

NYC passed a Reparations Bill and California responds with protests at the Sacramento Capital because they voted against it. As liberal as California is, they know they can't afford it. Neither can NY.

Actually servant is a more humane term in some cases, as in the Bible. People that owed debts who couldn't pay became servants to the lender until their debt was paid. That sounds fair. Well it's not going to happen. But if it did, let's speculate.
Racism aside, they say out of all people who win the lottery, 75% end up bankrupt within a couple years. Most people are irresponsible with large sums of money, especially if they have been without. They go nuts. Imagine an inner city thug all of sudden gets handed to him $140k. He gets a Mercedes, lives high on the hog maybe for a year _ because he doesn't know how to invest or save. After a year, it's gone, trades in his Mercedes and in two years he's back again _ in the same position he was in _ without education _ without prospects for a good job _ slumming it _ back to the life of crime. Of course not all will do this. Mature people with a good work ethic, who know the value of money, would be much wiser.

Same things have happened with minimum income supplements.
Nobody gets off them. Nobody does much of anything. The drug overdoses go up. Suicide rates go up. Crime doesn't stop or even slows down...it increases.
Fact of life despite the claims.
We in America have the richest poor in the world and per capita incarcerations (jail) are the highest of every nation on the planet. Maybe there's a correlation.

And Jesus does want us to live life in the full. I am not promoting a prosperity doctrine, but He does bless some people with that - and those who have more, more is expected of them.
