PS
Daniel 7s time times and a half in which the saints are given into the beast hands is also in revelation.Revelation teaches that a time ,times and a half is 1260 days.42 months.
Daniel 7s prophecy is also about the end times same as revelation.
Once again, you and I are in agreement with the symbols in Revelation seem to match many in Daniel but those time elements in Daniel do not mean what you interpret them to mean. This is a perfect example of not interpreting a prophetic verse in Daniel which WOULD transfer over to Revelation but instead, you try and intepret Daniel (time, times and 1/2 time) through what you think it says in Revelation.
Study Daniel first and then take those interpretations to Revelation... they will give you a very different understanding of thos verses in Revelation that you think you understand.
Same saints
Same beast
Same 42 month persecution.
The saints recieve the same kingdom on earth.(,under the whole heaven)
Once again, they are the same saints, the same beast, etc., but you have not properly interpreted them in Daniel yet. If you had, they would indeed speak to those symbols in Revelation but not in the same manner you think they are meaning. As I mentioned a few responses ago, God would use very different symbols in Chapters 7 and 8 that provide a different view of those exact same kingdoms revealed in Chapter 2. But you do not have to go to Chapter 7 or 8 FIRST to identify the 4 kingdoms in Chapter 2. And many have done exactly that --- they have looked to Chapter 8 to determing the 4th kingdom after Greece is not Rome but those powers that came BETWEEN Greece and Rome. They looked to the later chapters to identify the 4th kingdom when the 4th kingdom in Chapters 7,8 and 11 is the exact same kingdom in Chapter 2 - Rome.
This is exactly what you are doing, and so many others, when they look to Revelation to interpret and determine what Daniel is saying. Can not do that...
Study Daniel and it will provide guidance to Revelation. And I think I can safely say that because it is so clear in Daniel that God has brought forward only 4 kingdoms OUT OF THE SEA. And He did not bring any other kingdoms or powers WITHIN HIS PLAN OF SALVATION other than these 4. Certainly, you can find the Ptloemy's and the Selucid's and AE in our history books, but they are not one of the four kingdoms that come out of the sea... they only belong in our history books. Daniel will interpret Daniel without any need for extrabiblical source documents. In fact. they will corrupt our ability to properly interpret Daniel... we rely on needing to match the actors and events in our history books to try and find similar actors or events in Daniel .... God has no interest in recounting our history.
Time, times and 1/2 time is not 1260 years or days... It has it's own specific interpretation in Daniel because it is speaking in a "forward" looking manner... Revelation is looking backwards and provides different symbols at times - just as I mentioned in Daniel Chapter 2 v. 7 or 8.
Daniel is NOT about the end times - that is what so many claim because they have not interpreted Daniel but think they have interpreted Daniel by what they think Revelation is saying and then sending that interpretation back some 2600 years. Certainly, there are references to the end of times - like in Daniel 7:9-10, and 13-14, which gives us what will take place in heaven, but expect for 11:36 - 45 and Chapter 12, which only speaks of the true end times in broad strokes, all of Daniel is about the period from 606 BC - 500 AD with the focus on the 490 year prophecy culminating with the arrival and death of the Messiah.
It would be interesting to learn your interpretation on Daniel 7:23-27. Are these speaking of the end times? Unless I am mistaken, I believe you had earlier agreed the "little horn" is the papacy...if not, please tell me. Then, have you identified who the 10 horns are? When they came to power? How long will they continue on earth? What happens and when does it happen that 3 are uprooted? Does any of this speak to the time element of "time, times and 1/2 time?" You will not find these interpretations in Revelation because they were meant to be interpreted using the language given to us in Daniel. I can assure you the 10 kings are not an end time event - they have been here for quite some time but it would be impossible to determine their identity from the verses in Revelation - yet they are indeed the same entity.
